εM=εbi+εth+εh (1)
ビルトイン歪み(εbi)は、物質系及び堆積条件に依存する。PE‐CVDでは、反応種がフィルムに連続的に挿入される。このプロセスは、ウェッジングプロセスであるとみなされる。ビルトイン歪みは、挿入種の頻度及びサイズに依存する。これらの要因は両方ともプロセス条件によって決められる。熱歪み(εth)は、フィルムを高温で堆積させてその後室温に戻した際に、発達する。熱歪み(εth)は以下の式で与えられ、

不整合歪みに応じて、フィルム・オン・基板構造は変形する。構造の変形は、フィルムと基板のヤング率(Y)と厚さ(d)に依存する。ヤング率と厚さとの積(Y・d)が、フィルム及び基板の相対的な機械強度を決める。Ys・ds>>Yf・dfであると、基板が主であり、フィルムが従である。これは、薄膜をガラスやSi等の硬い基板上に堆積させた場合である。結果として、二軸応力がフィルム内に生じて、大きな曲率半径(R)を有する球形キャップ状に構造を曲げる。曲率半径はStoneyの式(4)によって表すことができる。

Claims (7)
- 有機発光デバイスを封止するための浸透バリアフィルム構造体であって、
前記浸透バリアフィルム構造体が、ポリマー物質と非ポリマー物質との一様混合物を備えたハイブリッド浸透バリア組成を有する二重層積層体を備え、
前記二重層積層体が、
前記有機発光デバイスの上に直接堆積される第一の領域であって、前記ポリマー物質と非ポリマー物質との一様混合物であり且つ第一のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度を有する第一の組成を有する第一の領域と、
前記第一の領域の上に堆積される第二の領域であって、前記ポリマー物質と非ポリマー物質との一様混合物であり且つ第二のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度を有する第二の組成を有する第二の領域とを備え、
前記第二のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度が、前記第一のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度よりも1.2倍以上大きく、
前記第一の領域が1000nm±10nmの最大厚さを有する、浸透バリアフィルム構造体。 - 前記ポリマー物質がシリコーンであり、前記非ポリマー物質が一種以上の酸化シリコンを備える、請求項1に記載の浸透バリアフィルム構造体。
- 前記ポリマー物質がシリコーンであり、前記非ポリマー物質が窒化シリコンである、請求項1に記載の浸透バリアフィルム構造体。
- 前記第二のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度が、前記第一のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度よりも1.2倍から5倍大きい、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の浸透バリアフィルム構造体。
- 前記第一のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度が65nm/分以下であり、前記第二のCF4‐O2プラズマ反応性イオンエッチング速度が80nm/分以上である、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の浸透バリアフィルム構造体。
- 前記第二の領域対前記第一の領域の厚さの比が0.5から20の間である、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の浸透バリアフィルム構造体。
- 基板上に設けられた有機電子デバイスであって、
請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の浸透バリアフィルム構造体を備えた有機電子デバイス。
