Claims (10)
- 電気コネクタに接合される回転構成可能なバックシェルであって、
コネクタ・インターフェースおよびシールド・インターフェースを有するコネクタ・ボディ、
コネクタ端部およびリリーフ端部を有するシールド終端ボディ、および
シールド端部およびケーブル・クランプ端部を有するストレイン・リリーフ部
を有して成り、
コネクタ・インターフェースが、電気コネクタと係合して、電気的接続するように構成されており、
コネクタ端部がコネクタ・ボディのコネクタ・インターフェースに接合されており、コネクタ端部の面がリリーフ端部の面に対して角度を成すように方向づけられており、シールド終端ボディが電気コネクタから延在するケーブルをシールドするために構成されており、
シールド端部の面がケーブル・クランプ端部の面に対して角度を成すように方向づけられ、シールド端部がシールド終端ボディのリリーフ端部に回転接合され、ストレイン・リリーフ部のケーブル・クランプ端部の面がシールド終端ボディのコネクタ端部の面に対して種々の角度で位置することが可能であるように、ストレイン・リリーフ部のシールド端部がシールド終端ボディのリリーフ端部に対して回転可能であり、ストレイン・リリーフ部のケーブル・クランプ端部が電気コネクタから延在するケーブルを固定するように構成されており、
ストレイン・リリーフ部のシールド端部は、シールド終端ボディのリリーフ端部の周りを包むバンドを含む、回転構成可能なバックシェル。 - ストレイン・リリーフ部のケーブル・クランプ端部の面が、シールド終端ボディのコネクタ端部の面に対して0度〜90度の角度で位置することが可能である、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。
- シールド終端ボディのコネクタ端部の面が、シールド終端ボディのリリーフ端部の面に対して45度の角度で方向づけられる、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。
- ストレイン・リリーフ部のシールド端部の面が、ストレイン・リリーフ部のケーブル・クランプ端部の面に対して45度の角度で方向づけられる、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。
- シールド終端ボディのリリーフ端部が突起部を有して成り、又ストレイン・リリーフ部のシールド端部が切り欠き部を有して成り、
ストレイン・リリーフ部の切り欠き部が、シールド終端ボディに対してストレイン・リリーフ部の回転が制限されるためにシールド終端ボディの突起部を受容するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。 - ストレイン・リリーフ部のシールド端部が、シールド終端ボディのリリーフ端部に形成された溝と回転自在に係合するバンドを有して成る、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。
- コネクタ・インターフェースが歯を有して成り、
該歯は、電気コネクタに対してバックシェルが回転しないように、電気コネクタのボディと係合している、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。 - 電気コネクタのボディにコネクタ・インターフェースを固定するための連結ナットを更に有して成る、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。
- シールド終端ボディとコネクタ・インターフェースとの間に連結されるレジューサー・ディスクを更に有して成り、
レジューサー・ディスクは、シールド終端ボディに大きさの異なるコネクタ・インターフェースを接合するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。 - シールド終端ボディのリリーフ端部にストレイン・リリーフ部のシールド端部を固定するために構成され、又はケーブルの周りのストレイン・リリーフ部のケーブル・クランプ端部を固定するために構成されたツール・レス・ロックを更に有して成る、請求項1に記載の回転構成可能なバックシェル。
