Description
(1)質量%にて、Fe 2 O 3 :10%以上30%以下、SiO 2 :10%以上30%以下、MnO:3.5%以上10%以下、全硫黄分(T−S):0.5%以下(0%を含む)、CaO:20%以上50%以下、P 2 O 5 :1.5%以上5%以下、MgO:1%以上8%以下含有し、かつ可給態けい酸を20mg/g以上200mg/g以下かつEDTA溶出鉄を10mg/g以上30mg/g以下含む製鋼スラグ又は該製鋼スラグを破砕して得られる粉体又は該粉体を結合剤により粒状にした製鋼スラグ粒を、水田土壌に0.5t/ha以上5t/ha以下施用することにより、水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素ガスの発生を抑制する方法。
(2)前記水田土壌の初期pHが、4以上6.5以下であることを特徴とする(1)に記載の水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素ガスの発生を抑制する方法。
(3)前記製鋼スラグ粒を耕起前及び/又は代掻き以前に施用することを特徴とする(1)又は(2)に記載の水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素ガスの発生を抑制する方法。
(4)前記製鋼スラグ粒の粒径が10mm以下であることを特徴とする、(1)〜(3)のいずれかに記載の水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素の発生を抑制する方法。
さらに、水田土壌中において、酸素が全くない嫌気性条件では、硫酸塩還元菌が硫化水素を発生することにより水稲の根の成長を著しく阻害すると共に、発生した硫化水素の作用によって、さらに土壌中が低い酸化還元電位の嫌気性環境となり、低い酸化還元電位の嫌気性環境を好むメタン生成菌の増殖を促進し、メタン生成が促進される恐れがある。しかし、製鋼スラグを施用することにより、製鋼スラグから溶出した鉄が硫化物イオンと効率よく結合して硫化鉄となる結果、硫化水素による水稲の根の成長阻害を防止でき、根の成長を促進することができる。さらに、水稲の根を通じて、水稲の地上部から酸素が地中に供給され、メタン生成菌が好む嫌気性条件になることを抑制することで、メタンガス発生を抑制する効果も期待できる。
各5m×4mの水田に、表1に記載の11種類の製鋼スラグ粒で粒径が10mm以下のものを0.1t/ha、0.5t/ha、5t/ha、10t/ha撒いた。使用した製鋼スラグの組成はいずれも、質量%にて、Fe2O3:10%以上30%以下、SiO2:10%以上30%以下、MnO:3.5%以上10%以下、全硫黄分(T−S):0.5%以下(0%を含む)、CaO:20%以上50%以下、P2O5:1.5%以上5%以下、MgO:1%以上8%以下を満たすものを用いた。また、対照区として製鋼スラグ粒を撒かない水田も用意した。尚、水田土壌の初期pHはpH6であった。
土壌の初期pHがそれぞれ3.5、4、4.5、5.5、6.5、7である各5m×4mの水田に、表1に記載の1の製鋼スラグ粒で粒径が10mm以下のものを2t/ha撒いた。使用した1の製鋼スラグ粒の組成は、表1に記載のように、質量%にて、Fe2O3:10%以上30%以下、SiO2:10%以上30%以下、MnO:3.5%以上10%以下、全硫黄分(T−S):0.5%以下(0%を含む)、CaO:20%以上50%以下、P2O5:1.5%以上5%以下、MgO:1%以上8%以下を満たすものである。
各5m×4mの水田に、耕起の2か月前、耕起の2週間前、耕起時(田植えの2週間前)、田植え時、田植えの2週間後の異なる5つの時期に、表1に記載の2の製鋼スラグ粒で粒径が10mm以下のものをそれぞれ2t/ha撒いた。使用した2の製鋼スラグ粒の組成は、表1に記載のように、質量%にて、Fe2O3:10%以上30%以下、SiO2:10%以上30%以下、MnO:3.5%以上10%以下、全硫黄分(T−S):0.5%以下(0%を含む)、CaO:20%以上50%以下、P2O5:1.5%以上5%以下、MgO:1%以上8%以下を満たすものである。また、対照区として製鋼スラグ粒を施用しない場合についても同様に試験実施した。水田土壌の初期pHは5.6であった。
各5m×4mの水田に、表1に記載の1の製鋼スラグ粒で粒径が10mm以下、10mmより大きく25mm以下、25mmより大きいものの3種類について、それぞれ2t/haまいた。使用した1の製鋼スラグ粒の組成は、表1に記載のように、質量%にて、Fe2O3:10%以上30%以下、SiO2:10%以上30%以下、MnO:3.5%以上10%以下、全硫黄分(T−S):0.5%以下(0%を含む)、CaO:20%以上50%以下、P2O5:1.5%以上5%以下、MgO:1%以上8%以下を満たすものである。水田土壌の初期pHは4.8であった。また、対照区として製鋼スラグ粒を施用しない場合についても同様に試験実施した。
Claims (4)
- 質量%にて、Fe 2 O 3 :10%以上30%以下、SiO 2 :10%以上30%以下、MnO:3.5%以上10%以下、全硫黄分(T−S):0.5%以下(0%を含む)、CaO:20%以上50%以下、P 2 O 5 :1.5%以上5%以下、MgO:1%以上8%以下含有し、かつ可給態けい酸を20mg/g以上200mg/g以下かつEDTA溶出鉄を10mg/g以上30mg/g以下含む製鋼スラグ又は該製鋼スラグを破砕して得られる粉体又は該粉体を結合剤により粒状にした製鋼スラグ粒を、水田土壌に0.5/ha以上5t/ha以下施用することにより、水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素ガスの発生を抑制する方法。
- 前記水田土壌の初期pHが、4以上6.5以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素ガスの発生を抑制する方法。
- 前記製鋼スラグ粒を耕起前及び/又は代掻き以前に施用することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素ガスの発生を抑制する方法。
- 前記製鋼スラグ粒の粒径が10mm以下であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の水稲の収量を増加させ、かつ、メタンガスと亜酸化窒素の発生を抑制する方法。
