Claims (2)
- 長距離用光通信システムにおいて、
少なくとも40Gb/sの変調ビットレートを有する送信器と、
少なくとも3つの複合光ファイバスパンとともに、前記送信器に光学的に接続された受信器と、
を備え、前記複合光ファイバスパンは少なくとも50kmの長さを有し、該複合光ファイバスパンは、
前記送信器に光学的に接続され、1550nmの波長にて、120μm2より大きい実効断面積Aeff1、0.180dB/km未満の減衰α1、非線形屈折率n2 1、および少なくとも30kmの長さL1を有する第1の光ファイバ、および
前記第1の光ファイバと光学的に接続され、少なくとも20kmの長さL2を有する第2の光ファイバ、
を備え、
前記第2の光ファイバが1550nmの波長にて正の分散を有する場合、前記複合光ファイバスパンが、1550nmの波長にて0.180dB/km未満の平均減衰を有し、
前記第2の光ファイバが1550nmの波長にて負の分散を有する場合、前記複合光ファイバスパンが、1550nmの波長にて2から5ps/nm/kmの大きさの平均分散、0.205dB/km未満の平均減衰を有し、前記複合光ファイバスパンが、0.02ps/nm2/km未満の大きさの平均分散スロープを有し、
前記各複合光ファイバスパン間に少なくとも1つの増幅器を備え、
少なくとも1つの複合光ファイバスパンが、1550nmの波長にて正の分散を有する第2の光ファイバを備え、少なくとも2つの複合光ファイバスパンが、1550nmの波長にて負の分散を有する第2の光ファイバを備え、
1550nmの波長にて負の分散を有する第2の光ファイバを備えた第1の複合光ファイバスパン、1550nmの波長にて正の分散を有する第2の光ファイバを備えた第2の複合光ファイバスパン、および1550nmの波長にて負の分散を有する第2の光ファイバを備えた第3の複合光ファイバスパンが、連続して配置されることを特徴とする長距離用光通信システム。 - 少なくとも10の複合光ファイバスパン、および各複合光ファイバスパン間の少なくとも1つの増幅器を備えることを特徴とする請求項1記載のシステム。
