Claims (4)
- 長手軸線を有する基板を処理するための紫外線放射硬化システムであって、
プロセスチャンバであって、前記基板を該プロセスチャンバの中に配置できるように受容することが可能な入口ポートと、前記基板が前記プロセスチャンバから排出されることを許容する出口ポートと、を有している前記プロセスチャンバと、
長手方向に延在し、前記プロセスチャンバの内部に取り付けられて紫外線放射を照射できるプラズマランプと、
前記プロセスチャンバに結合され、前記紫外線放射を照射するように前記プラズマランプを励起するマイクロ波発生器と、
長手方向に延在し、前記プロセスチャンバの内部に配置され、前記プロセスチャンバの内部に基板が配置されたときにその基板を取り囲む紫外線伝達導管と、
長手方向に延在し、前記プロセスチャンバの内部に取り付けられる第1の反射鏡であって、前記第1の反射鏡は、第1の長軸距離と、第1の短軸距離と、前記プラズマランプとほぼ同軸の第1の焦線と、前記基板の該長手軸線とほぼ同軸の第2の焦線と、によって画定され、前記プラズマランプに対向している第1の楕円反射面を有する第1の反射鏡と、
長手方向に延在し、前記プロセスチャンバの内部に取り付けられる第2の反射鏡であって、前記第2の反射鏡は、前記第1の長軸距離より長い第2の長軸距離と、前記第1の短軸距離より長い第2の短軸距離と、前記基板の前記長手軸線とほぼ同軸の第3の焦線と、前記プラズマランプとほぼ同軸の第4の焦線と、によって画定され、前記プラズマランプに対向している第2の楕円反射面を有する第2の反射鏡とを備え、
前記基板に照射される紫外線放射は、前記プラズマランプから直接照射されるものと、前記プラズマランプから前記第1の反射鏡で反射されて照射されるものと、前記プラズマランプから前記第2の反射鏡で反射されて照射されるものとを有する紫外線放射硬化システム。 - 請求項1に記載の紫外線放射硬化システムであって、
前記第1の反射鏡は、前記第2の反射鏡から間隔を隔てられて、長手方向に延在してなる隙間を形成し、前記プラズマランプの温度を調整するために、プロセスチャンバを通る空気の流れを許容する紫外線放射硬化システム。 - 請求項1に記載の紫外線放射硬化システムであって、
該紫外線伝達導管は、第1の部分と、前記第1の部分に対して開位置と閉位置との間にて可動である第2の部分とから構成され、前記開位置によって、前記紫外線伝達導管の中に基板を装填できる紫外線放射硬化システム。 - 請求項3に記載の紫外線放射硬化システムであって、
前記プロセスチャンバは、
前記第1の反射鏡と、前記紫外線伝達導管の前記第1の部分と、前記プラズマランプと、を具備する一の部品と、
前記第2の反射鏡と、前記紫外線伝達導管における前記第2の部分と、を具備する他の部品とを有し、
前記他の部品は、前記一の部品に対して開いている状態と閉じている状態との間を移動可能であって、
前記他の部品が前記開いている状態において、前記プロセスチャンバと前記紫外線伝達導管とが開かれて、前記基板を挿入して整列させることが可能である紫外線放射硬化システム。
