Description
ステントが挿入されたと仮定した場合に比較して、バルーン血管形成のみで長期間の治癒効果が得られた多くの症例によって、同等あるいはより良好な長期治癒の成果があった。したがって、ステント設置のないバルーン血管形成は最も一般的であるとともに、最もコスト効果のよい血管処置の1つである。

Claims (8)
- 血管形成術前の、血管内でのアテローム斑の穿孔およびセレーションのための血管内装置において、
ラインまたはパターン形状に配置された小さい中実の鋭いスパイクを支持し、かつ膨張可能であり、収縮可能であるキャリアを有し、
前記キャリアはスリット付きの金属チューブを有し、金属チューブはチューブの両端の間でチューブの中間領域に沿って延びるリボンを有し、チューブの両端を除いてチューブの中間領域だけにリボンがあり、
前記リボンの各々には複数の小さい中実のスパイクが形成されており、前記リボンは拡張装置によって膨張されて、粥腫内に切り裂いたラインまたはパターンを形成するセレーションとして働くラインまたはパターン形状の微小穿孔の形状で粥腫の表面をスパイクで突き刺すようになっており、各スパイクは内部が流体を通さないように形成されており、かつ各スパイクはリボンにおける基部から頂部に延びており、基部から頂部までの長さは基部の幅より長いことを特徴とする血管内装置。 - 請求項1記載の血管内装置において、拡張装置は機械的装置、拡張バルーンおよびバルーン補助展開装置からなるグループから選ばれることを特徴とする血管内装置。
- 請求項1記載の血管内装置において、スパイクはリボン上のポリマーゴム小滴状に形成されることを特徴とする血管内装置。
- 請求項1記載の血管内装置において、リボンは形状メモリによって血管壁に向かって外方にバイアスされていることを特徴とする血管内装置。
- 請求項1記載の血管内装置において、スパイクは拡張バルーンを超えた伸長可能なメッシュ構造体に支持されていることを特徴とする血管内装置。
- 請求項1記載の血管内装置において、スパイクはリボンに取り付けるのに用いるボタン上に支持されていることを特徴とする血管内装置。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の血管内装置において、小さい鋭いスパイクの各々は細長い先端を持ち、細長い先端の高さは幅より長いことを特徴とする血管内装置。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか1つに記載の血管内装置において、リボンはキャリアの長手方向の軸線から半径方向に離れるようにバイアスされていることを特徴とする血管内装置。
