Description
本出願は、本願において全体の内容が参照として含まれる2012年12月21日付米国仮特許出願第61/745,030号「経皮的拡張ハンマートゥ・インプラント」の同時係属出願であり、仮出願日に対して優先権を主張している。
図面を参照すると、本発明を理解しやすいように同様の構成要素は同様の図面符号が与えられ、経皮的拡張ハンマートゥ・インプラントの多様な実施例が記載されている。
中は隠れておりスリーブ222の拡張中は現れるフック形状部237を有し得る。環状スリーブ222はまた、ネジ232のネジ本体236に結合されるネジ部229を含む。ネジ232が環状スリーブ222に挿入されて結合されると、ネジ232はその軸235(つまり、受け入れる骨の先孔の軸)を中心に回転し得る。本発明の幾つかの実施例において、装置210の1つ以上の部分が固定メカニズム(例えば、フック形状部237)として作動可能であり、環状スリーブ222の拡張は関節における各々の骨を圧迫するために作用する。このように、装置の内部本体と外部本体との係合及び結合を通じて、外部本体は先孔内で軸方向に進むことになり、インプラントを固定させるために放射状に外向きに方向を変えて、その中間部分で圧縮する。

Claims (2)
- 経皮的切開を介して関節内に移植される骨インプラントであって、
第1のネジ端部を有するネジと、
前記ネジを収容する環状のスリーブとを含み、
前記スリーブは、
前記ネジの前記第1のネジ端部と係合する位置の前記スリーブの内周に設けられた第1のネジ部と、
前記スリーブの一部に沿って備えられる拡張部とを含み、
前記第1のネジ端部が前記スリーブの前記第1のネジ部と結合されると、前記ネジがその縦軸を中心に回転することで、前記スリーブの前記第1のネジ部が前記ネジに対して相対的に、前記第1のネジ端部とは反対側の、前記ネジの第2のネジ端部に向かって移動することにより、前記拡張部を放射状に拡張して、骨に前記骨インプラントを固定し、
前記スリーブはさらに、前記第2のネジ端部に近接する端部に、骨に前記骨インプラントを固定するフック形状部を含むことを特徴とする骨インプラント。 - 前記拡張部は、前記スリーブの長手方向に沿って延びる1つ以上のスロットと、前記スリーブに対してパターンで配置された複数の孔と、前記スリーブの長手方向に沿ってらせん状に配置された1つ以上のスロットと、その組み合わせとからなる群より選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の骨インプラント。
