Description

The present invention relates to an instrument panel device for an automobile (hereinafter referred to as an instrument panel device) having an instrument panel core (hereinafter referred to as an instrument panel core) molded with resin by two-color molding.

In an instrument panel device for automobiles, an instrument panel core, which is a resin molded product, can be color-coded, for example, to prevent the upper part from being reflected on the windshield and to the lower part to a high lightness color to brighten the room indoors. Has been done. As for this color coding method, there is one described in Patent Document 1, for example.

In the prior art, a trough or groove capable of contacting a thin plate is provided at the boundary between the upper part (front side surface) and the lower part (seat side surface) of the instrument panel core. The workability is improved.

On the other hand, Patent Document 2 discloses that a main body having an airbag expansion outlet in an instrument panel and an airbag cover covering the expansion outlet are integrally formed by two-color molding.

Japanese Patent No. 3240985

However, although the method of Patent Document 1 has improved workability, it still adopts a method of separately painting in two colors, and therefore requires a masking operation, a painting operation, and the like, resulting in a high cost. is there.

On the other hand, the method of Patent Document 2 does not require masking or painting work, and can reduce costs. However, in the two-color molding, the resin is supplied to the gap formed by retreating the pressing core forming a part of the core mold, so that the overlapping portion of the main body portion and the cover is formed as a parting portion. ing. Therefore, there is a problem that the range in which the parting portion can be formed is restricted by the die cutting direction of the pressing core.

Especially in the instrument panel device targeted by the present invention, the instrument panel core has a vertical wall facing the door lining surface, but the vertical wall portion is hardly formed even if the pressing core is retracted. There arises a problem that a parting portion cannot be formed in the vertical wall portion.

The present invention has been made in view of the above-described conventional situation, and it is an object of the present invention to provide an automobile instrument panel device that can form a parting section without any trouble even when the instrument panel core has a vertical wall and can be color-coded. Yes.

An instrument panel core formed by integrally forming a first core panel and a second core panel having a component mounting surface extending in the vehicle width direction by overlapping and joining the boundary edges of the two by two-color molding to form a parting portion An instrument panel device for an automobile having
A vertical wall is formed on the second core panel by bending the left and right end portions of the component mounting surface so as to face the lining surface of the left and right doors, and the left wall of the first core panel is formed on the vertical wall. , A laterally extending surface extending the component mounting surface so as to overlap the lower surface of the right end portion , and the longitudinally extending surface so as to exceed the base of the laterally extending surface and to face the front end portions of the left and right end portions. A vertical wall extending portion having a vertical extending surface formed by extending a wall is formed, and the parting part is located between the left and right vertical walls and extends in the vehicle width direction, and the side parting part And a vertical parting portion extending along the laterally extending surface and facing the lining surface of the door.

Two core panels that have a part mounting surface that extends in the vehicle width direction and a vertical wall that is bent so that both ends thereof face the door lining surface are joined by overlapping the border edges of both core panels by two-color molding In the case of forming the parting part integrally, the parting part in the vertical wall cannot be formed. That is, in the two-color molding, a parting part is formed by injecting resin into a gap formed by retreating the pressing core, but in the vertical wall, a gap is formed even if the pressing core is retracted. Therefore, a parting part cannot be formed.

In the present invention, a vertical wall is formed on one of the first and second core panels, and the component mounting surface is extended on the vertical wall so as to surround the left and right end portions of the other core panel. An extended surface is formed, and the parting part has a lateral parting part extending in the vehicle width direction and a vertical parting part extending along the extension surface.

As described above, according to the present invention, the vertical wall is formed only in one of the core panels, and the parting part is formed in the overlapping portion of the extension surface formed on the vertical wall and the other core panel. Even in the case of having a vertical wall, a parting part can be formed over the entire boundary edge part of both core panels, and the coupling rigidity of both core panels can be increased. Further, it is possible to integrate by two-color molding while having a vertical wall, and the first and second core panels can be made of a resin of a desired color without requiring a painting process, and color classification is possible.

Further, in the parting portion, since the boundary edge portion having a thickness corresponding to the pressing core slide dimension of one panel is superposed on the back surface of the boundary edge portion of the other core panel, the thickness is increased accordingly, and the reinforcing rib is provided. Sufficient rigidity can be secured while unnecessary.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.

1 to 4 are diagrams for explaining an instrument panel device for an automobile according to Embodiment 1 of the present invention.

In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes an instrument panel core that is a main component of an instrument panel device disposed at the front end of a vehicle interior. The instrument panel core 1 is formed by integrally forming an upper core panel (first core panel) 2 positioned at an upper part and a lower core panel (second core panel) 3 positioned at a lower part by resin two-color molding. The upper core panel 2 is formed in a dark color such as black or dark brown in order to prevent reflection on a windshield (not shown). On the other hand, the lower core panel 3 is formed in a high brightness color such as cream or beige to brighten the passenger compartment. Needless to say, any core panel can be formed in a desired color.

The upper core panel 2 and the lower core panel 3 have mounting surfaces 2 'and 3' extending in the vehicle width direction, and various components such as an air bag, a navigator, and a meter cluster are attached to the mounting surfaces 2 'and 3'. Openings 2a and 3a and a notch 3b are formed.

The lower core panel 3 has left and right vertical walls 3c, 3c formed by bending the left and right ends of the component mounting surface 3 'so as to face the lining surface (not shown) of the left and right doors. Have

The vertical wall 3c has a vertical wall extension 3d extending so as to surround the left and right end portions 2c of the component mounting surface 2 'of the upper core panel 2. This vertical wall extension 3d has a vertical extension surface 3c 'formed by extending the vertical wall 3c, and a horizontal extension surface 3 "formed by extending a component mounting surface 3' of the lower core panel 3.

The upper core panel 2 and the lower core panel 3 have a left part 4a, a center part 4b, and a right part that are obtained by joining the boundary edges 2e and 3e to each other by the aforementioned two-color molding. 4c, and are integrally coupled to each other through the parting parts 4a, 4b, 4c.

The center parting part 4b is formed by only a parting part extending between the left and right vertical walls 3c and 3c and slightly to the right of the center and extending in the vehicle width direction. On the other hand, the left and right parting parts 4a and 4c are lateral parting parts 4a 'and 4c' extending in the vehicle width direction, followed by the vertical parting parts 4a 'extending along the vertical wall extension parts 3d and 3d. ′, 4c ″. More specifically, the vertical parting portions 4a ″ and 4c ″ are formed on the laterally extending surface 3 ″ of the vertical wall extending portion 3d.

Here, a method for forming the parting part will be described with reference to FIGS. 2 shows a method of forming the horizontal parting portions 4a ′, 4b, 4c ′ of the parting parts, and FIGS. 3 and 4 show a method of forming the vertical parting parts 4a ″, 4c ″.

The resin molding die in this embodiment is composed of a core die 5 and a cavity die 6. The cavity mold 6 is disposed so as to be able to advance and retract in the direction of arrow D (the direction of mold release). The core mold 5 includes a fixed core 5a that is fixedly arranged, and a pressing core 5b that is slidably arranged by a dimension α corresponding to the required parting portion thickness of the parting portions 4a to 4c. . The sliding direction of the pressing core 5b is set in the same direction as the die cutting direction (D direction) of the cavity die 6.

Here, the die cutting direction and the sliding direction are set such that an angle θ between the D direction and the surface of the parting parts 4a to 4c is as large as possible. The larger the angle θ is, the thicker the parting part can be formed with respect to both slides α of the pressing core 5b. When a part of the parting part is inclined as in the present embodiment, the thickness d of the inclined part can be secured by increasing the angle formed by the surface of the inclined part and the D direction.

The sliding direction of the pressing core 5b is not necessarily set to be the same as the die cutting direction. The sliding direction of the pressing core 5b may be set to a direction in which a necessary thickness as the parting portion can be secured.

In the first embodiment, first, as shown in FIG. 4, in order to mold the upper core panel 2, the pressing core 5b is moved forward so that the mold surface 5c is a continuous surface with respect to the mold surface 5d of the fixed core 5a. To do. At this time, the partition part 5c ′ of the mold surface 5c of the pressing core 5b and the partition part 6a ′ of the mold surface 6a of the cavity mold 6 are brought into contact with each other. In this way, the space surrounded by the mold surfaces 5c and 5d of the fixed core 5a, the pressing core 5b and the mold surface 6a of the cavity mold 6 becomes the cavity C1, and by injecting dark resin into the cavity C1, for example, A black upper core panel 2 is formed. In FIG. 4, in the space A surrounded by the mold surface 5c ″ of the pressing core 5b and the mold surface 6a ″ of the cavity mold 6 in the advanced position, the communication with the cavity C1 is connected to the partition portion 5c ′. , 6a ′, the resin is not supplied into the space A. The same applies to FIG. 2, and the upper core panel 2 is formed with the press-cut core 5b advanced.

Subsequently, as shown in FIG. 3, by retracting the pressing core 5b by α, a parting portion cavity C2 is formed by the mold surface 5c of the pressing core 5b and the inner surface 2d of the molded upper core panel 2, A cavity C3 is formed by the mold surface 5c '' of the pressing core 5b or the mold surface 5d '(in the case of FIG. 2) of the fixed core 5a and the mold surface 6a' 'of the cavity mold 6, and these cavities C2 and C3 are highlighted. For example, a beige lower core panel 3 is formed by supplying a light colored resin. At this time, the resin supplied to the parting portion cavity C2 is welded to the inner surface 2d of the upper core panel 2 to form the parting parts 4a to 4c, and the upper core panel 2 and the lower core panel 3 are integrated.

Here, the thickness of each of the parting parts 4a to 4c is determined by the sliding amount α of the slide core 5b and the angle θ formed between the surface of the inclined part of the parting part and the sliding direction D. In order to increase the wall thickness with a small amount of slide, the angle θ needs to be as large as possible, and is specifically preferably 45 ° or more. Therefore, in the vertical wall extension 3d in the present embodiment, the lateral extension surface 3c '' is formed so as to be as flush as possible with respect to the component mounting surface 3 'of the lower core panel 3, thereby increasing the angle θ. It is desirable to ensure.

Thus, in the present embodiment, left and right vertical walls 3c, 3c are formed on the lower core panel 3, and vertical wall extensions 3d are formed on the vertical walls 3c. A laterally extending surface 3 ″ extending the component mounting surface 3 ′ so as to surround the left and right end portions 2c, 2c of the upper core panel 2 from the left and right, and a vertically extending surface formed by extending the vertical wall 3c. 3c ′. Therefore, the left and right parting parts 4a and 4b can be formed with vertical parting parts 4a '' and 4c '' extending substantially along the component mounting surface 3 'so as to form the vertical wall part 3c. While forming, the boundary edge portions 2e and 3e of the upper and lower core panels 2 and 3 can be coupled over the entire length thereof, and the coupling rigidity of both can be improved.

Further, since the upper and lower core panels 2 and 3 can be surely integrally formed by two-color molding, even if the instrument panel core 1 has the vertical wall 3c, the upper and lower core panels 2 and 3 can be formed as desired without requiring a painting process. It can be formed of colored resin and can be color-coded.

Moreover, in the parting parts 4a to 4c, the boundary edge 3e having a thickness corresponding to the pressing core slide dimension α of the lower core panel 3 is superposed on the back surface of the boundary edge 2e of the upper core panel 2, so that the meat Thickness is increased, and sufficient rigidity can be secured while eliminating the need for reinforcing ribs.
