Description
[1] 皮膚バリアー機能の回復促進が必要とされる患者の皮膚に適用される第一の金属と、
前記第一の金属の仕事函数より低い仕事函数を有する第二の金属及び/又は金属化合物と、
上記金属間を直接的又は間接的に接続する整流素子であって、当該整流素子のアノードが前記第一の金属と接続されており、カソードが前記第二の金属及び/又は金属化合物と接続されている、整流素子と、
を具備する、皮膚バリアー機能を回復促進するための装置。
[2] 前記第二の金属及び/又は金属化合物の仕事函数が2.0〜5.0eVの範囲にある、[1]の装置。
[3] 前記第一の金属が金及び/又は白金である、[1]又は[2]の装置。
[4] 前記第二の金属がジルコニウムである、[1]〜[3]のいずれかの装置。
[5] 前記整流素子がダイオードである、[1]〜[4]のいずれかの装置。
[6]皮膚バリアー機能の回復を促進させるための美容方法であって、[1]〜[5]のいずれかの装置が具備する第一の金属を皮膚に適用することを含んで成る方法。
以下の実験において、本発明の装置の皮膚バリアー機能回復促進効果を評価した。第一の金属として金を、そして第二の金属として金より仕事函数が低いジルコニウムを採用し、金板1とジルコニウム板3との間を図1に示すような配置でゲルマニウムダイオード2で接続した(実施例1)。金板1はゲルマニウムダイオード2のアノード端子と、そしてジルコニウム板3はカソード端子に接続されている。コントロールとして、金板単独(比較例1)、そして実施例1の装置のジルコニウム板の代わりに白金の板を採用し、ダイオードを逆向きに配置した装置(比較例2)を使用した。
2.皮膚のバリアーを、セロファンテープを使用し、ヘアレスマウスの表皮角層を剥がすことにより破壊する。このときTEWLの値が約800〜900となるまでこの作業を繰り返す。角層を剥がした後の測定値から角層を剥がす前の測定値を差し引いた値を、最もダメージの深い状態、即ち回復率0%とする。
3.角層を剥がしてから所定の時間(1,3,6又は24時間)経過後、各金属(面積2x2cm2、厚さ0.5mm)を上記角層の上に貼り付ける。何も貼り付けていない皮膚を無処置群とする。
4.1時間経過後、金属の板を剥がし、MEECOによりTEWLを測定する。角層除去時と同様、各時間の測定値から角層除去前のTEWL値を差し引き、回復率をもとめる。
即ち、回復率は以下の式に従い算出する。

- 皮膚バリアー機能の回復促進が必要とされる患者の皮膚に適用される第一の金属と、
前記第一の金属の仕事函数より低い仕事函数を有し、かつ前記患者の皮膚に適用されない第二の金属及び/又は金属化合物と、
上記金属間を直接的又は間接的に接続する整流素子であって、当該整流素子のアノードが前記第一の金属と接続されており、カソードが前記第二の金属及び/又は金属化合物と接続されている、整流素子と、
を具備する、皮膚バリアー機能を回復促進するための装置。 - 前記第二の金属及び/又は金属化合物の仕事函数が2.0〜5.0eVの範囲にある、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第一の金属が金及び/又は白金である、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 前記第二の金属がジルコニウムである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記整流素子がダイオードである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
