Claims (8)
- 複数のOFDMシンボルに基づいて通信する第1のタイプのネットワークと、前記第1のタイプのネットワークとは異なる第2のタイプのネットワークと、前記第1のタイプのネットワークと前記第2のタイプのネットワークのうち少なくともいずれか一つと通信するユーザ装置(UE)とを含む無線通信システムにおいて、前記第1のタイプのネットワークの範囲(coverage)と前記第2のタイプのネットワークの範囲との間で移動する前記UEにより実行されるISR(idle mode signaling reduction)機能に関連するタイマを制御する方法であって、
前記ISR機能が駆動(enable)されたことを指示するUE位置登録受諾メッセージ(UE location registration accept message)を受信するステップと、
前記ISR機能が駆動されると、前記UEの動作可能性(availability)を周期的に通報するために使われるP−TAU(periodic tracking area updating)タイマの動作を保持するステップと、
前記P−TAUタイマが満了し、移動性管理バックオフ(mobility management backoff:MM−BO)タイマが動作中である場合、前記第1のタイプのネットワークに対応するISR非活性化タイマ(deactivate ISR timer)を開始するステップと、を含み、
前記UEがMM−BOタイム値を受信するとき、前記MM−BOタイマが前記UE内で開始するように構成されたタイマである、方法。 - 前記UE位置登録受諾メッセージは、前記第1のタイプのネットワークを介して受信されるTAU受諾メッセージである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記UE位置登録受諾メッセージは、前記第2のタイプのネットワークを介して受信されるRAU(routing area update)受諾メッセージである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記MM−BOタイム値は制御メッセージに含まれ、
前記制御メッセージは、RRC(radio resource control)連結解除メッセージ、RRC連結拒絶メッセージ、RAU拒絶メッセージ又はTAU拒絶メッセージである、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記UE位置登録受諾メッセージに対応して、P−RAU(periodic routing area update)タイマを開始するステップをさらに含み、前記P−TAU及びP−RAUタイマは、UE内で、各々、MME(mobility management entity)及びSGSN(serving GPRS support node)を更新するために動作し、前記MMEは、前記第1のタイプのネットワークに関連し、前記SGSNは、前記第2のタイプのネットワークに関連する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のタイプのネットワークに対応されるISR非活性化タイマが開始した後、UEが前記第1のタイプのネットワークの範囲(coverage)内にあり、前記MM−BOタイマが駆動中ではない場合、TAU(tracking area update)要求を送信するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ISR非活性化タイマが満了した後、RAU又はTAU手順に関連するUEのTIN(Temporary Identifier used in Next update)をP−TMSI(Packet Temporary Mobile Identity)に設定するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数のOFDMシンボルに基づいて通信する第1のタイプのネットワークと、前記第1のタイプのネットワークとは異なる第2のタイプのネットワークと、前記第1のタイプのネットワークと前記第2のタイプのネットワークのうち少なくともいずれか一つと通信するユーザ装置(UE)とを含む無線通信システムにおいて、前記第1のタイプのネットワークの範囲(coverage)と前記第2のタイプのネットワークの範囲との間で移動し、ISR(idle mode signaling reduction)機能に関連するタイマを制御するUEであって、
前記ISR機能が駆動(enable)されたことを指示するUE位置登録受諾メッセージ(UE location registration accept message)を受信し、
前記ISR機能が駆動されると、前記UEの動作可能性(availability)を周期的に通報するために使われるP−TAU(periodic tracking area updating)タイマの動作を保持し、
前記P−TAUタイマが満了し、移動性管理バックオフ(mobility management backoff:MM−BO)タイマが動作中である場合、前記第1のタイプのネットワークに対応するISR非活性化タイマ(deactivate ISR timer)を開始し、
前記UEがMM−BOタイム値を受信するとき、前記MM−BOタイマが前記UE内で開始するように構成されるプロセッサを含むユーザ装置(UE)。
