Description

The present invention relates to a drainage structure for a door weather strip mounted around a vehicle door.

Among the door weather strips that are installed around the doors of automobiles, particularly in the portion corresponding to the upper side of the door sash, for example, when high-pressure water is received during car washing or rainwater passes through the back of the weather strip during heavy rain. In other words, a so-called underwater phenomenon occurs, and the water may enter the indoor side. As countermeasures, techniques described in Patent Documents 1 and 2 have been proposed.

In the technique described in Patent Document 1, a soft member such as a highly foamed sponge is attached to the back side of the door weather strip, and the soft member is brought into close contact with the protrusion on the door sash side when the door weather strip is attached. Yes.

Moreover, in the technique described in Patent Document 2, in order to treat the water flowing down from the upper side of the door sash in the lower molding part, a waterproof rib is provided on the back side of the mounting base in the molding part. If the water flowing down from the upper side cannot be stopped by the waterproof rib, the core will be removed. A part of the hole is effectively used as a drainage port to collect the water, and then drained to the hollow seal part of the extrusion molding part below the hole.

Japanese Patent No. 4569220

However, as described in Patent Document 1, when a soft member such as a highly foamed sponge is attached to the back side of the weather strip, the cost is inevitably increased.

Moreover, in the technique described in Patent Document 2, water is stopped at the back surface of the mounting base in the molded part and water that cannot be stopped is collected. Due to its uniqueness, its rigidity is not enough, so the reliability of water stoppage is low, and the “cold water” phenomenon still tends to occur. In addition, the water collected by using a part of the core hole on the back of the molded part as a drain outlet should be used as a drainage channel in the hollow seal part of the extrusion part below it. Since the water is drained into the inner space of the hollow seal portion, it cannot be denied that there is a possibility that water may leak into the room from the clip mounting hole or air vent hole set in the hollow seal portion.

The present invention has been made paying attention to such a problem, and in particular, the water flowing down from the portion corresponding to the upper side portion of the door sash in the door weather strip is surely externally provided at the lower molding portion. The present invention provides a drainage structure for a door weather strip that is drained to prevent intrusion into a room without increasing costs.

The invention according to claim 1 is a door weather strip that is mounted around a vehicle door, and the upper side portion corresponding to the upper side portion disposed along the upper side portion having a predetermined gradient in the longitudinal direction of the door sash. It is the drainage structure of the door weather strip containing the shaping | molding part which has connected the vertical side part equivalent part arrange | positioned along the vertical side part of a door sash like a low side.

In addition, the upper side equivalent portion and the molded portion are each provided with an attachment base, a hollow seal portion, and a sub-seal portion, and a drainage groove is formed in contact with the door sash on the rear surface of the attachment base on the outdoor side. The panel lip to be formed protrudes in two upper and lower stages. Further, the mounting base portion corresponding to the upper side portion is formed with an indoor hollow portion and an outdoor hollow portion that are independent from each other, and a drainage groove and an outdoor hollow portion are communicated with the back surface of the mounting base portion. A communication hole is formed. And in the mounting base of the above-mentioned mold forming part, the part corresponding to the outdoor side hollow part on the upper side equivalent part side has disappeared, and even that part functions as a part of the drainage groove , and The drainage groove on the back surface of the mounting base in the mold forming part is set so that the depth in the vehicle interior / exterior direction gradually decreases as the distance from the connection part between the mold forming part and the upper side corresponding part increases .

In this case, as described in claim 2, the indoor side hollow portion of the attachment base portion in the upper side portion corresponding portion may be a clip insertion space for attachment to the door sash .

Further, in order to ensure rigidity as well as drainability in the molded part, a rib that is compatible with the drainage function in the drainage groove on the back surface of the mounting base in the molded part as described in claim 3 in the longitudinal direction. It is desirable to be provided intermittently along.

Therefore, in at least the invention according to claim 1, in the door weather strip, at the portion corresponding to the upper side portion of the door sash, a communication hole for communicating the drainage groove and the outdoor hollow portion is formed on the back surface of the mounting base. Since the outdoor hollow portion can be effectively used as a part of the drainage groove, the area of the drainage groove can be increased, which is advantageous in preventing the so-called “under water” phenomenon.

On the other hand, if the outdoor hollow portion corresponding to the upper side portion is effectively used as a part of the drainage groove, it is necessary to surely drain the water that has entered the outdoor hollow portion to the outside. Therefore, in the molded part to be connected to the lower side of the upper side portion corresponding to the door weather strip, the portion corresponding to the outdoor hollow portion on the upper side corresponding portion side disappears, and the portion is drained. It functions as a part of the groove. This is because, on the mold forming part side, a region where the outdoor hollow part on the side corresponding to the upper side part and the drainage groove are combined is a drainage groove on the mold forming part side. That is, in addition to maintaining the continuity of the drainage groove on the upper side equivalent part side and the drainage groove on the mold forming part side, the lower end of the outdoor hollow part on the upper side equivalent part side is the mold part. It opens to the drainage groove on the side and communicates with the drainage groove. For this reason, the water that has entered the outdoor hollow portion on the side corresponding to the upper side portion flows smoothly into the drainage groove on the side of the mold forming portion, and the drainage property on the side corresponding to the upper side portion is improved.

According to the first aspect of the present invention, the drainage area on the upper side equivalent portion side is enlarged and drainage can be reliably performed, and drainage performance is improved. Specifically, the water flowing down from the upper side corresponding portion can be surely drained to the outside at the lower mold forming portion to prevent intrusion into the room. Further, since the drainage groove formed by the upper and lower two-stage panel lips is continuous between the upper side portion corresponding portion and the mold forming portion, the water flowing down from the upper side portion corresponding portion side is on the bottom surface side in the mold forming portion. It is possible to prevent the occurrence of so-called “back hole water”. Furthermore, since the drainage groove in the mold forming part is set so that the depth in the vehicle interior / exterior direction gradually decreases as the distance from the connection part between the mold forming part and the upper side equivalent part increases, Drainability is further improved by gradually bringing water to the outdoor side.

According to the invention described in claim 2, since the indoor side hollow portion of the mounting base portion has a clip insertion space independent from the outdoor-side hollow portion in the upper side portion corresponding portions, clip for attachment to a door sash there is no risk of inducing water leakage and even insert a.

According to invention of Claim 3, since the rib which can be compatible with the drainage function is provided intermittently along the longitudinal direction in the drainage groove in the molding part, while ensuring the drainage, at the same time of the molding part Rigidity is also improved and the sealing performance at the molded part is improved.

1 to 9 show a more specific first embodiment for carrying out the present invention. In particular, FIG. 1 shows a front door (hereinafter simply referred to as a door) 1 of an automobile to which a door weather strip 4 is attached. The schematic structure seen from the indoor side is shown, and FIGS. 2 and 3 are both cross-sectional views taken along the line AA of FIG. 4 shows an enlarged view of a portion B of the door weather strip 4 in FIG. Further, FIGS. 5 and 6 is a cross-sectional view of each portion along C1~C6 line to definitive in FIG.

As shown in FIG. 1, a door weather strip 4 is mounted in a closed loop around a door 1 composed of a door main body 2 and a door sash 3, and is extruded as a general portion extruded as a uniform cross-sectional shape. The molded parts 5 and 6 are connected to each other by the front and rear mold parts 7 and 8. Since extrusion unit 5 is intended to extend along the upper side portion of the door sash 3, assuming that referred the extruded portion 5 and the upper side portion corresponding portions, after the upper side corresponding part 5 The end is connected to the rear vertical side equivalent portion 6 a of the extrusion molding portion 6 via the mold forming portion 7, and the front end of the upper side equivalent portion 5 is connected to the extrusion molding portion 6 via the mold molding portion 8. Of these, it is connected to the front side corresponding portion 6b.

FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of the upper side equivalent portion 5 in FIG. 1 near the mold forming portion 7, that is, a conventional cross-sectional view along the line AA in FIG. The upper side equivalent portion 5 includes a mounting base 9 that serves as a mounting portion for the door sash 3, a hollow seal lip 10 that projects from the mounting base 9 and functions as a main hollow seal portion, A sub seal lip 11 that protrudes from the base portion 9 and functions as a sub seal portion is provided. The mounting base 9 is provided with a room-side hollow portion 13 and an outdoor-side hollow portion 14 which are independent from each other via a partition wall portion 12, and a panel lip 15, 16 is protrudingly formed.

The indoor side hollow portion 13 also has a function as a clip insertion space, and the head of the clip 17 for fixing the attachment base portion 9 to the door sash 4 is inserted. The two-stage panel lips 15, 16 are elastically contacted with the hemming flange portion 3 a of the door sash 3 to form a so-called bowl-shaped drainage groove 18 as a closed space.

Here, as is clear from FIG. 2, when high-pressure water at the time of car washing, a large amount of rain, etc. accumulates in the drainage groove 18 and the retained amount increases, the water W is pressurized and as indicated by an arrow M in FIG. Therefore, a phenomenon called “rear piercing water” that goes around to the back side of the mounting base 9 easily occurs. As shown in FIG. 1, the reason why the water W accumulates in this way is that the upper side corresponding portion 5 is inclined with a predetermined gradient toward the vehicle front side together with the corresponding portion of the door sash 3, particularly corresponding to the upper side portion. It is based on the fact that the degree of inclination is smooth on the rear side near the mold forming part 7 in the part 5 and the water W in the drainage groove 18 hardly flows to the front side of the vehicle.

Therefore, in the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, on the rear side of the upper side equivalent portion 5 (portion close to the mold forming portion 7 of FIG. 1), the outdoor side wall portion 19 on the back side of the mounting base portion 9 is provided. A single communication hole 20 or a plurality of communication holes 20 are intermittently formed at a predetermined pitch, and the outdoor hollow portion 14 and the drainage groove 18 are communicated with each other. Thereby, the drainage channel area is expanded by effectively using the outdoor hollow part 14 as a part of the drainage groove 18, and the amount of water that must be held by the drainage groove 18 is relatively reduced. It will be. As a result, the drainage performance is improved and the occurrence of “back through water” as shown in FIG. 2 can be prevented in advance. Moreover, even if the indoor side hollow portion 13 adjacent to the outdoor side hollow portion 14 is a clip insertion space, both are separated by the partition wall portion 12, so there is no risk of water leakage due to the presence of the clip 17. . In addition, the cross-sectional shape of the site | part in which the communication hole 20 mentioned above is not formed is the same as FIG.

As described above, the water retained in the drain groove 18 and the outdoor hollow portion 14 of the upper side equivalent portion 5 flows down toward the other mold forming portion 8 which is the lower side as shown in FIG. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure the drainage so that the molded part 8 can reliably drain the outside.

FIG. 4 shows details of the mold forming part 8 shown in FIG. 1, and FIGS. 5 and 6 show cross-sectional views of parts C1 to C6 in FIG. As apparent from FIG. 4, the molded part 8 is connected to each other and the upper side portion corresponding portions 5 and the front of the vertical side portion corresponding portions 6b of FIG. As mentioned earlier 1 at a connection portion 21, 22 5 and 6, it gradually changes from the cross-sectional shape on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side to the cross-sectional shape of the front side equivalent portion 6b in the longitudinal direction.

As shown in FIG. 4 and FIG. 5A, the outdoor side wall portion 19 of the mounting base portion 9 is cut away at the position closest to the connecting portion 21 in the upper side portion corresponding portion 5, which is substantially shown in FIG. 3. The outdoor hollow portion 14 and the drainage groove 18 are integrated. As shown in FIGS. 5B and 5C and FIGS. 6A and 6B, the cross-sectional shape of the molded portion 8 that is continuous with the terminal portion of the upper side equivalent portion 5 is also illustrated. 5 (A), the drainage groove 18 is formed in an enlarged shape by being integrated with the outdoor hollow portion 14 shown in FIG. When attention is paid to the depth dimension D of the drainage groove 18 in the outside of the vehicle interior in the mold forming portion 8, the depth dimension D is gradually reduced as the distance from the connection portion 21 increases. Furthermore, as shown in (C) of FIG. 6, the converged with the cross-sectional shape of the like and the front vertical side portion corresponding portions 6b at a portion near the lower side of the connecting portion 22 of the molded portion 8 vertical side It is connected to the part equivalent part 6b.

Here, FIG. 7 shows the shape when the mold forming part 8 of FIG. 4 is viewed from the outdoor side (rear side), and FIG. 8 shows the shape of the mold forming part 8 of FIG. 7 viewed from another angle. Yes. Further, FIG. 9 shows a cross-sectional view taken along line EE of FIG. In these FIGS. 7-9, since the cross-sectional shape of the mold forming part 8 gradually changes from the upper side to the lower side of FIGS. 7 and 8 as described above, as shown in FIGS. Further, as the depth D of the drainage groove 18 changes in the vehicle interior / exterior direction, the region of the interior hollow portion 13 gradually increases, and eventually the hollow seal lip 10 in which the core hole 23 is opened is integrated. It has become.

As shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, a part of the drainage groove 18 on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side described above, that is, on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side, at the position closest to the connection portion 21 in the molded portion 8. A portion corresponding to the outdoor hollow portion 14 of the drainage groove 18 faces the drainage groove 18 on the mold forming portion 8 side and opens as an opening 24. In FIG. 8, the corresponding portions are hatched for easy understanding of the opening 24. Thereby, together with the continuity of the drain groove 18 on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side and the drain groove 18 on the mold forming portion 8 side, the outdoor hollow portion 14 on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side and the drain groove on the mold forming portion 8 side. 18 is ensured.

Further, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 in addition to FIGS. 5 and 6, a plurality of ribs 25 are formed at a predetermined pitch along the longitudinal direction of the drainage groove 18 of the molded part 8. These ribs 25 are considered to be compatible with the drainage function so as not to hinder the original drainage function of the drainage groove 18, and straddle the base part of the panel lip 16 and the partition part 12. It is formed as a web, and a predetermined gap G is secured between the ribs 25 and the base 9 or the other panel lip 15. As described above, the mold forming portion 8 in which the drainage groove 18 whose drainage channel area is enlarged is formed along the longitudinal direction, the chamber is larger than the partition wall 12 due to the enlargement of the drainage channel area. Although it tends to be insufficient in rigidity on the outside, the lack of rigidity is compensated by forming the plurality of ribs 25 as described above.

Therefore, according to the present embodiment, as shown in FIG. 3, the water collected or captured by the drainage groove 18 on the upper side equivalent part 5 side is the outdoor side of the drainage groove 18 via the communication hole 20. Since it communicates with the hollow portion 14, it flows down to the mold forming portion 8 side not only through the drainage groove 18 but also through the outdoor hollow portion 14 as described above.

On the other hand, as is apparent from FIGS. 7 to 9, the continuity between the drain groove 18 on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side and the drain groove 18 on the mold forming portion 8 side is ensured, and is shown in FIG. Thus, since the end of the outdoor hollow portion 14 on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side is opened to the drainage groove 18 on the mold forming portion 8 side with the opening 24, the water flowing down from the upper side equivalent portion 5 side is drainage groove. Regardless of whether it is from the 18 side or the outdoor hollow portion 14 side, it flows into the drainage groove 18 on the mold forming portion 8 side. Thus, the water flowing into the drainage groove 18 on the mold forming part 8 side further flows down along the drainage groove 18 including the gap G without being blocked by the plurality of ribs 25.

4 and FIG. 6, the sub seal lip 11 and the panel lip 16 on the upper side disappear from the lower side of the connecting portion 22 of the molding portion 8, and the remaining panel lip 15 is left on the front side. Since it is continuous with the panel lip 26 (see FIG. 6C and FIG. 7) on the side corresponding to the vertical side portion 6b, the vertical side portion corresponding portion 6b on the front side below the molded portion 8 is finally formed. The water flowing down along the vertical line portion 6b is discharged outside the seal lip 26 in the vertical side portion 6b.

Here, as shown in FIGS. 5, 8, and 9, since the depth D of the drainage groove 18 in the vehicle interior / exterior direction gradually decreases, in the process of flowing down the drainage groove 18 of the molded part 8. water is induction gradually to the outdoor side. Specifically, as shown in FIG. 9, the partition wall portion 12 is displaced toward the outdoor side as it moves away from the connection portion 21, so that water is gradually guided to the outdoor side as indicated by an arrow. Further, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 8, in the portion of the molded portion 8 close to the connecting portion 22, one panel lip 16 gradually disappears and is separated from the hemming flange portion 3 a of the door sash 3. Since the drainage groove 18 is not a closed space, it becomes easier to drain the water flowing down from the molding part 8 side to the outdoor side of the front side corresponding part 6b.

As described above, according to the present embodiment, not only the drainage groove 18 but also the outdoor hollow portion 14 substantially has a function as the drainage groove 18 on the upper side equivalent portion 5 side, and the drainage channel thereof. Since the area is increased, the so-called “back hole water” as shown in FIG. 2 is not generated, and water can be prevented from entering the room.

Further, the water collected or captured by the drainage groove 18 or the like on the upper side equivalent part 5 side is the part corresponding to the vertical side part on the front side from the drainage groove 18 on the mold forming part 8 side as indicated by an arrow in FIG. Since it falls down to 6b and is drained to the outside of the vehicle, the drainage is very good.

Here, in the above-described embodiment, the case where the present invention is applied to the door weather strip 4 of the front door 1 is illustrated, but it is needless to say that the present invention can be applied to an equivalent part of a door weather strip such as a rear door as necessary.
