Description

Claims (12)
- 骨を治療するためのデバイスであって、前記デバイスは、
骨安定化インプラントと一体形成された細長本体であって、前記細長本体が前記骨安定化インプラントの一端に結合され、それにより、前記骨安定化インプラントが目的の骨に所望の位置で載置される場合、前記細長本体が目的の骨の部分へ所望の経路に沿って通過するように選択された角度で、前記細長本体が前記骨安定化インプラントから離れて伸び、前記細長本体が前記細長本体の遠位端内の開口部へ伸びる内腔を画定する、細長本体と、
第1の位置と第2の位置との間の移動のための、前記細長本体の内腔内に収容された展開部材と、
前記展開部材に結合された複数のワイヤであって、それにより、前記内腔を通じる前記展開部材の運動が、前記ワイヤの遠位端が前記内腔内に収容される挿入位置と、前記ワイヤの遠位端が前記細長本体の遠位端内の開口部の外側に遠位に伸びる展開位置との間で前記ワイヤを動かして、前記細長本体の遠位端に隣接する骨の部分を貫通し、前記ワイヤが細長本体の外側に伸びる場合、アンカー形状を呈するようにバイアスされた、ワイヤと、

- 前記アンカー形状において、前記ワイヤが前記細長本体から遠位に第1の距離伸び、次いで前記細長本体の縦軸から離れて放射状にカーブする、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記アンカー形状において、前記ワイヤの遠位端が近位に面する、請求項4に記載のデバイス。
- 前記アンカー形状において、前記細長本体の遠位端内の開口部の外側に伸びる前記ワイヤの一部が90°と180°との間の角度にわたってカーブする、請求項5に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ワイヤの遠位端が骨貫通チップとして形成される、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ワイヤが形状記憶材料を含む、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記形状記憶材料がニチノールである、請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- 前記展開部材はボルトであり、前記ボルトのネジ切り部は前記内腔の内壁にネジ切り部に対応して係合する、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記展開部材が前記細長本体を通して長手方向に移動するために回転させると、前記ワイヤがこれに対して回転せずに前記内腔を通して長手方向に移動するように、前記ワイヤを前記細長本体に非回転自在に結合し、前記展開部材に回転自在に結合する、請求項10に記載のデバイス。
- 前記骨安定化インプラントが骨プレート、釘、及びアンカーエレメントのうちの1つである、請求項1に記載のデバイス。
