図2は、たとえば靴などの履物に入れた靴クッション10を示す。図3は、この発明の一実施例による構造物の「上面図」であり、ファブリックの上方から見た基材ファブリックを示す。図3が示すように、一つの方向(たとえば、ファブリックの縦方向あるいはシュート方向)の機能性糸20,30があり、それらは中空で弾力性のある部材40の層の下側だけでなく上の両方に横方向に重なっている。ここで、中空で弾力性のある部材40は、機能性糸20,30の巣の形にならい、機能性糸20,30の周囲に曲がり、平らになり/伸びる。機能性糸には、当業者に知られているように、いろいろな糸(たとえば、単一のモノフィラメント、マルチフィラメント、加工マルチフィラメントなど)あるいは、複合構造のもの(より、もろより、編み、編組、材料のいくつかの組み、など)を含む。
1)メモリーフォーム、ゲル、スプリングシステムなどを超える、改良されたリカバリー特性。
2)たとえば、「平ら」で糸が非交差の構造物がもつ滑らかで均一な表面特性(たとえば、靴および足のサポートを改良するため)。
3)構造物内部の中空で弾力性のある部材の「フル」リカバリーにより、リカバリー/ダンパー特性のすぐれた保持力(材料の直線的な圧縮に対立するものとして)。これが達成されるのは、構造物が中空で弾力性のある部材の部分間にサポートを与え、それが材料の「オーバーストレス」を避け、それを「生かす」(たとえば、長い有用な寿命のため)。
4)圧縮およびそれに続くリカバリーによる自浄化効果によって、水を保持する適用における水蒸気のダメージあるいは問題に対するすぐれた抵抗性。
5)すぐれた圧縮リカバリー対重量比を与え、構造物上に軽い重みがあるときにすぐれたダンパー能力を許容。
6)緩衝構造物にすぐれた通気性を与え、圧縮段階の間に発汗作用をし、他の湿気を蒸発および/または除去。

Claims (45)
- 圧縮性で弾力性のクッションであり、そのクッションは、元々の厚さをもち、しかも、次の構成および特徴を備えるクッション。
・複数の平行な縦方向糸
・複数の平行な横方向糸
・複数の中空で弾力性のある平行な部材
・前記縦方向あるいは前記横方向のいずれかの方向に走る、平行な複数の糸から構成される第1の層
・前記第1の層の一方の側に位置し、前記中空で弾力性のある複数の部材から構成され、それらの部材が前記第1の層の糸とは異なる前記縦方向、前記横方向、あるいはまた、それら縦方向、横方向とは交差する方向に走る第2の層
・前記第1の層の側とは反対側の前記第2の層の一面に位置し、前記第1の層の糸と同じ方向に走る糸から構成される第3の層
・前記第3の層の前記平行な糸は、前記クッションを圧縮すると、そのクッションの厚さ方向に対して垂直な面において同じ方向に走る、前記第1の層の平行な糸間のスペースに組み合う、つまり、入り込むように整列されていること
・前記中空で弾力性のある部材は、その厚さあるいは径の方向、およびその長さあるいは軸の方向に弾力性があり、そして、それらの中空で弾力性のある部材は、クッションが垂直方向の負荷を受けると、前記第3の平行な糸が前記第1の層の平行な糸間の前記スペースに入り込むことを許すように伸縮し、その負荷を解放すると前記元々の厚さに戻るようにスプリングバックすること - 前記構造物は、前記第1、第2、および第3の層を結び付けるバインダー糸を備える、請求項1のクッション。
- 前記第3の層の糸数は、前記第1の層の糸数よりも少ない、請求項1のクッション。
- 前記第2の層の中空で弾力性のある部材は、第1および第3の層の糸に対して直交する、請求項1のクッション。
- 前記第2の層の中空で弾力性のある部材は、前記第1および第3の層の糸の方向である90°よりも小さな角度で走る、請求項1のクッション。
- 前記90°よりも小さな角度は、45°の角度である、請求項5のクッション。

第1の層と同じ方向であり、糸が第1の層の糸と同様に厚さ方向に垂直面に整列し、しかも、前記第3の層の側とは反対側の前記第4の層の一面に位置する平行な糸からなる第5の層を備える、請求項1のクッション。 - 前記中空で弾力性のある部材は、モノフィラメント、マルチフィラメント、もろよりフィラメント、異なる材料からなる被覆部材、編み部材、より部材、複合部材、およびブレード部材のグループの中から選択する、請求項1のクッション。
- 前記中空で弾力性のある部材は、ポリウレタン、ゴム、ライクラ(登録商標)、およびエステイン(登録商標)の中から選択する、請求項1のクッション。
- 前記中空で弾力性のある部材は、互いに異なる幾何学的形状の断面をもつ部材から選択する、請求項1のクッション。
- 前記中空で弾力性のある部材は、円形、非円形、正方形、長方形、三角形、楕円形、多角形、台形、および葉形のグループから選択する、請求項10のクッション。
- 前記中空で弾力性のある部材は、その長さあるいは軸の方向に走る1または2以上の孔をもつ、請求項1のクッション。

- 前記中空で弾力性のある部材およびバインダー糸の方向は、横方向である、請求項2のクッション。
- 前記クッションは、中空で弾力性のある部材の層を少なくとも二つ含む積層構造であり、それら中空で弾力性のある部材の層が積層構造の内部である、請求項18のクッション。
- 前記クッションは、バインダー糸よりも粗い(太い)、中空で弾力性のある部材を含む、請求項18のクッション。

- 前記クッションは、そのクッションの表面が取り替え可能である、請求項1あるいは22のクッション。
- 前記取り換え可能のため、ループ状のわなを作ったループ糸(つまり、フックドわな糸)を含む、請求項23のクッション。
- 前記クッションは、そのクッションの層の一部として、中空で弾力性のある部材からなる隣接層を複数備える、請求項1あるいは7のクッション。
- 圧縮性の弾力性のクッションであり、そのクッションは、元々の厚さをもち、しかも、次の構成および特徴を備えるクッション。
・複数の縦方向糸
・複数のシュート糸(つまり横方向糸)
