Description
The present invention relates to a vehicle door including an outer panel and an inner panel.
Possible ways to reduce the environmental impact of automobiles include reducing the fuel consumption of the engine that is the drive source, using a motor and an engine together, and using an electric vehicle. The contribution to reduction and, in turn, reduction of environmental impact is large. In view of this, studies are being made to reduce the thickness of the body steel plate material by increasing the tension, to apply an aluminum alloy material that is a light alloy material, and to apply a resin material.
On the other hand, automobiles are required to have high safety performance, but frame parts such as frames are made of steel, and panel parts are parts made of aluminum alloy or resin, or a combination of inner and outer parts, such as doors, bonnets, trunk lids, etc. In the case of such a closure part, it is conceivable to combine a steel material and an aluminum alloy material or a resin material, and the inner panel and the outer panel may be made of different materials.
Among these, when the outer panel and the inner panel are made of different metal materials in the vehicle door, a battery circuit is formed due to the temporary accumulation of rain water or water during car washing at the lower end of the door. Thus, of the two types of materials that are electrically connected, a panel using a material having a low corrosion potential is on the plus side, and the surface of the plus side material is easily ionized and corroded. It is known that it tends to cause food. Therefore, when assembling members made of different metal materials, in order to prevent electric corrosion due to contact between different metals, it should be insulated from each other and not electrically connected, and a structure that is less likely to cause electric corrosion. Is desired.
For example, in
Further, although it is not described that a different metal is used, in
An effective method as a measure against electrolytic corrosion is, for example, to interpose an adhesive as a sealing material between a light alloy material and a steel plate material. However, a relatively high-viscosity water-insoluble organic compound is usually used for the adhesive. If such an adhesive is applied over the entire surface to a portion where electric corrosion is likely to occur, and the outer panel is hemmed, A part of the agent protrudes, and in this state, the adhesive that protrudes when entering the water washing (shower) step is scattered by the water pressure. This splattering not only impairs the appearance, but even if it is wiped off, the productivity is greatly reduced due to its relatively high viscosity and water insolubility. Further, since the protruding adhesive adheres to part of the hemming jig or apparatus, there is a problem that the accuracy of the hemming process gradually decreases.
In
Further, when a
It is an object of the present invention to improve productivity by suppressing electric corrosion at an end of an automotive door in which an inner panel and an outer panel are made of different kinds of metal materials and reliably preventing an adhesive from protruding. To do. Another object of the present invention is to improve the appearance of a sealer that seals the lower end of the inner panel and the upper end of the hemmed outer panel.
In order to solve the above-mentioned problems, the present invention provides an outer panel and an inner panel by providing a long (deep) narrow adhesive reservoir in the vertical direction between the inner panel and the outer panel main body forming the door outer surface of the outer panel. The electric corrosion between the panels (hereinafter referred to as both panels) is suppressed, and the protrusion of the adhesive is prevented.
The invention of
Since the angle formed by the inner panel first inclined portion and the inner panel second inclined portion forming the adhesive reservoir is an obtuse angle, the angle formed by the outer panel main body portion and the inner panel first inclined portion, and the outer panel main body portion. Since the angle formed by the second inclined portion of the inner panel is an acute angle, the adhesive reservoir is narrow and extends in the vertical direction. Further, since the upper end of the inner panel second inclined portion and the lower end of the curved portion are not in contact with the main body portion of the outer panel, an opening is formed between the
The angle formed between the vehicle interior side surface of the outer panel main body and the vehicle interior outer surface of the inner panel first inclined portion is the angle formed between the vehicle interior side surface of the outer panel main body and the vehicle interior outer surface of the inner panel second inclined portion. Is preferably larger.
The folded portion of the outer panel folded toward the vehicle interior side is inclined in a direction away from the inner panel and extends upward, and toward the inner panel side following the outer panel first inclined portion. It is preferable that an outer panel second inclined portion that is inclined and extends upward, and an angle formed by the outer panel first inclined portion and the outer panel second inclined portion that face the inner panel is an obtuse angle.
Similar to the adhesive reservoir (hereinafter referred to as the outer adhesive reservoir), a gap formed between the first inclined portion and the second inclined portion of the outer panel and the lower end portion of the inner panel (hereinafter referred to as the inner adhesive reservoir). Is narrow and has a shape extending in the vertical direction, the adhesive protruding from the lower end of the inner panel between the inner panel and the folded portion of the outer panel can be received in the inner adhesive reservoir. Therefore, the inner adhesive pool can sufficiently seal between both panels in the height direction, and as a result, while preventing the adhesive from protruding from the upper end of the folded portion, the adhesive strength of both panels is enhanced, The electric corrosion of the panel can be suppressed.
Furthermore, when applying the sealer so as to straddle between the folded portion of the outer panel and the inner panel, it becomes easy to apply the sealer in a flat shape without causing a step on the surface, thereby improving the appearance. it can. Because, the outer panel first inclined portion that extends in the direction away from the inner panel and extends upward, and the outer panel second inclined portion that extends toward the inner panel side following the outer panel first inclined portion and extends upward. This is because by providing, the step between the outer panel second inclined portion and the inner panel second inclined portion is small, or the step can be made zero.
In addition, it is preferable that a sealer is applied so as to straddle the folded portion of the outer panel, the inner panel first inclined portion, and the inner panel second inclined portion. Even if the sealer is applied in this way, it is easy to apply the sealer without causing a step on the surface, and the appearance of the sealer can be improved.
It is preferable that beads are contained in the adhesive, and the beads are interposed between the opposed surfaces of the outer panel body and the inner panel. By using an adhesive containing beads, the bead can bite into both the outer panel and the inner panel during hemming processing, so that both panels can be mechanically fixed to each other so that they do not shift. Thermal deformation of both panels can be suppressed.
The outer panel is preferably made of a light alloy material, and the inner panel is preferably made of a steel material.
It is preferable that drain holes are formed in the inner panel above the adhesive in the adhesive pool. The appearance can be improved by forming the adhesive so that it cannot be seen from the drain hole.
In the present invention, the adhesive is stored with the gap between the inner panel and the outer panel main body forming the outer surface of the outer panel as an adhesive reservoir, and the inner panel first inclined portion and the inner panel second inclined portion are provided. adhesive reservoir is Ri do in shape having a width extending in the narrow vertical direction, and since the upper and lower ends of the curved portion of the inner panel second inclined portion is not in contact with the main body portion of the outer panel, the lower end portion of the inner panel and the outer panel Adhesive that protrudes from between the opposing surfaces of the main body can sufficiently seal between both panels in the height direction, strengthening the adhesive strength of both panels, and suppressing the electrolytic corrosion of both panels it can. Further, the adhesive can be prevented from protruding by storing the adhesive in the adhesive reservoir.
Hereinafter, embodiments for carrying out the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The following description of the preferred embodiments is merely exemplary in nature and is not intended to limit the invention, its application, or its use.

The
The
The outer
The inner
In the outer
The triangle B2 is an obtuse triangle whose angle θ1 is an obtuse angle, and the angle formed by the inner surface C4 and the outer surface C5 and the angle formed by the inner surface C4 and the outer surface C6 are acute angles. As a result, as compared with the case where the adhesive reservoir is formed only by the outer panel
By the way, when the interval between the opposing surfaces is very narrow (less than about 0.3 mm), when the interval is opened by a spring back of the panel or the like, a phenomenon in which a cavity spreads in a dendritic shape in the adhesive 5 easily occurs. When the adhesive 5 was solidified during baking and drying in the painting process, the adhesive 5 was solidified in a state where there was a dendritic cavity in the adhesive 5 between the opposing surfaces, and the adhesive 5 was applied over the entire area between the opposing surfaces. There is a risk that water may enter from the hollow portion. Since the interval D2 is very narrow, a cavity portion is formed between the opposing surfaces of the interval D2 as described above, and an aluminum alloy that has a lower corrosion potential than steel when water enters from the cavity portion is an aluminum alloy. The formed
Since the rigidity of the aluminum alloy is lower than the rigidity of the steel material, the thickness of the
And the

The
The adhesive 5 is mixed with spherical glass beads.
It is preferable that the glass beads have sufficient hardness so that the glass beads can bite into both panels without being broken during the hemming process. The glass beads have a particle size larger than the distance D2 between the opposed surfaces of the inner panel
Further, in this embodiment, glass beads are mixed in the adhesive 5, but instead of glass beads, it is thermally stable and has a compressive strength higher than the yield strength of the materials constituting both panels. The beads may be mixed in the adhesive 5. For example, instead of glass beads, beads made of hard inorganic material such as ceramic or hard metal material such as hard stainless steel may be mixed in the adhesive 5.
In the said embodiment, although the
