Description
Claims (15)
- 試験下にある治療を評価するためのコンピュータの作動方法において、
治療が行われる対象である被験者の同じ生体構造領域に対して試験時間期間の間の異なる時間で取得される画像データから生成される画像を取得するステップと、
前記画像を互いに共同位置合わせするステップと、
前記生体構造領域を表す基準画像に対して前記共同位置合わせされた画像をマッピングするステップと、
前記マッピングされた共同位置合わせ画像に基づき、前記試験時間期間の間に発生した少なくとも1つの構造的又は機能的な生理的変化を示す前記生体構造領域の試験画像を生成するステップと、
前記試験画像を表示するステップとを有する、作動方法。 - 試験下の前記治療の有効性を評価するため、代替的な治療又はプラセボを受ける1人又は複数の他の被験者に関する前記試験画像に対して統計解析を実行するステップを更に含む、請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- ベースライン画像として前記画像の1つを選択するステップを更に有し、前記画像を共同位置合わせするステップが、前記選択されたベースライン画像と前記画像とを共同位置合わせするステップを含む、請求項1に記載の作動方法。
- 前記共同位置合わせされた画像に基づき平均画像を生成するステップと、
前記平均画像に基づき変換を生成するステップとを更に有し、
前記共同位置合わせされた画像をマッピングするステップが、前記生成された変換を用いて前記共同位置合わせされた画像を変換するステップを含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の作動方法。 - 前記基準画像として前記共同位置合わせされた画像の1つを選択するステップと、
前記基準画像に基づき変換を生成するステップとを更に有し、
前記共同位置合わせされた画像をマッピングするステップが、前記生成された変換を用いて前記共同位置合わせされた画像を変換するステップを含む、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の作動方法。 - 関心領域を表す生体構造モデルに基づき前記変換を生成するステップを更に有する、請求項4又は5に記載の作動方法。
- 前記生体構造モデルが、3次元ボリュームである、請求項6に記載の作動方法。
- 前記変換が、前記モデルにフィットするよう、前記共同位置合わせされた画像を曲げる、請求項6又は7に記載の作動方法。
- 前記マッピングされた共同位置合わせ画像上でコンピュータベースの統計解析を実行するステップを更に有し、前記試験画像を表示するステップが、前記統計解析に基づき、所定の閾値変化より大きい構造的又は機能的な変化に対応するピクセルを強調する画像を表示するステップを含む、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の作動方法。
- 前記試験画像が、前記生体構造領域の表面上への表面投影である、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の作動方法。
- 前記統計解析を実行するステップが、前記構造的又は機能的な変化を表す値を決定するステップと、前記所定の閾値と前記値とを比較するステップとを含み、前記表示された画像は、前記所定の閾値より大きい対応する値を持つピクセルをのみ示す、請求項9に記載の作動方法。
- 前記統計解析を実行するステップが、前記構造的又は機能的な変化を表す値を決定するステップと、前記所定の閾値と前記値とを比較するステップとを含み、前記表示された画像は、前記所定の閾値より大きい対応する値を持つピクセルを視覚的に強調する、請求項9に記載の作動方法。
- 前記統計解析を実行するステップが、プラセボを受ける第2の被験者に関して得られるデータを用いて生成される画像と前記試験画像とを比較するステップを含む、請求項9乃至12のいずれかに記載の作動方法。
- 前記統計解析を実行するステップが、第2の治療を受ける第2の被験者に関して得られるデータを用いて生成される画像と前記試験画像とを比較するステップを含む、請求項9乃至13のいずれかに記載の作動方法。
- 前記試験画像に基づき前記行われた治療の有効性を決定するステップを更に有する、請求項1乃至14のいずれかに記載の作動方法。
