Claims (8)
- 基材上にコーティングされた顔料フレークの混合物であって、
第1の視角の変化に伴い、第一の色から第二の色へのカラーシフトを示す、第一の複数の磁気的に整列可能な顔料フレークと、
第2の異なる視角の変化に伴い、前記第一の色から第三の色、またはその逆へのカラーシフトを示す、第二の複数の非磁気的に整列可能な顔料フレークとを含み、
前記第一、第二、および第三の色が異なる3色であり、
前記基材を法線方向で観察するとき前記第一および第二の複数のフレークが前記第一の色を示し、
フレークの混合物を形成するバインダー中に、前記フレークが前記基材上にコーティングされており、
前記第一の複数のフレークが、前記第二の複数のフレークの配向とは異なる、実質的に同じ配向で整列しており、
前記第一の複数のフレークが、前記第二の複数のフレークとは異なる態様で、前記基材上で整列しており、それにより第一の軸について前記基材を傾けると、前記第一の色から第二の色に、またはその逆に観測可能なカラーシフトを引き起こし、および第二の異なる軸について前記基材を傾けると、前記第一の色から第三の色に、またはその逆にカラーシフトを引き起すものであり、
前記第一の軸と前記第二の軸は直交する軸である、顔料フレークの混合物。 - 前記第一および第二の複数のフレークが、これに入射する光の薄膜干渉効果によるカラーシフトを有し、前記第一および第二の複数のフレークが相互に混合されており、前記第二の複数のフレークが前記基材と同一平面上にある、請求項1に記載の顔料フレークの混合物。
- 前記基材が、スレッドまたは紙幣または金融証書である、請求項2に記載の顔料フレークの混合物。
- 前記フレークが、長さ1ミクロンより大きく、かつ100ミクロンよりも小さい、請求項3に記載の顔料フレークの混合物。
- 前記フレークが、1つまたは複数の事前決定された形状を有する、実質的に平面形状のフレークである、請求項4に記載の顔料フレークの混合物。
- 前記混合物が、インクまたは塗料である、請求項2に記載の顔料フレークの混合物。
- 前記第一の複数のフレークが、フレーク総数の40%〜60%を占める、請求項2に記載の顔料フレークの混合物。
- 前記第一の複数のフレークが10000個よりも多く、前記第二の複数のフレークが10000個よりも多い、請求項1に記載の顔料フレークの混合物。
