Description
Claims (14)
- 人間の目(22)の角膜(38)を集束パルスレーザー放射で切開する装置であって、
前記放射の焦点位置を設定するための制御可能な複数のコンポーネント(16)と、該複数のコンポーネントを制御するための制御コンピュータ(30)と、該制御コンピュータの制御プログラム(34)を有し、
前記制御プログラムは、前記制御コンピュータによる実行時に、角膜内リング移植片の挿入を可能にする、角膜における切開形状(36)を形成するように設計された命令を含み、前記切開形状は、完全に角膜組織内部の深さ位置にある少なくとも1つのリング切開部(42)と、前記角膜の前表面(40)又は前記角膜の後表面から、少なくとも前記リング切開部まで前記リング切開部のリング面に対して直角方向に延びる少なくとも1つの開口切開部(44)を含み、前記リング切開部は、リング軸(46)に対して半径方向に広がり、前記開口切開部に割り当てられる拡大領域(48)を含み、前記開口切開部は前記拡大領域において前記リング切開部内に侵入するものであることを特徴とする装置。 - 前記拡大領域(48)は、周方向に隣り合う前記リング切開部(42)の領域よりも半径方向に内側及び外側の両側に前記リング切開部の半径方向の広がりを構成するものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記拡大領域(48)の外縁の長さは、前記リング切開部(42)の外周の長さよりも小さく、前記リング切開部は、前記拡大領域を除いて該拡大領域の半径方向幅よりも小さい半径方向幅を連続して有するものであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記開口切開部(44)は、軸方向の断面で見たとき、前記リング軸(46)に対して実質的に半径方向に向いていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記開口切開部(44f)は、前記角膜の前表面又は後表面から前記リング切開部(42f)に向かう方向で見たとき、実質的に直線状に進んでいることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記開口切開部(44h、44i)は、前記角膜の前表面又は後表面から前記リング切開部(42h、42i)に向かう方向で見たとき、少なくとも一部分で曲線状及び/又は急激に折れ曲がった形状で進んでいることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記開口切開部(44)は、前記角膜の前表面又は後表面の方から前記リング切開部(42)と交差し、該リング切開部を越えて延びていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記開口切開部(44)は、前記拡大領域(48)の最大半径方向幅の領域において前記リング切開部(42)内に侵入し、前記拡大領域の実質的に半径方向幅全体に亘って延びていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記リング切開部(42)は、周方向に閉じたリングを形成するものであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記リング切開部(42e)は、周方向で見たとき、部分リングを形成するものであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記切開形状は、周方向で見たとき、それぞれ部分リングを形成し、周方向に配置される2つ以上のリング切開部と、それぞれのリング切開部に割り当てられる少なくとも1つの開口切開部を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項8、及び請求項10のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記切開形状(36)は、1つの開口切開部(44)が割り当てられる少なくとも1つのリング切開部(42)を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記切開形状(36d)は、2つ以上の開口切開部(44d)が割り当てられる少なくとも1つのリング切開部(42d)を含むものであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項11のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記レーザー放射は、1ピコ秒未満の範囲内のパルス持続時間を有することを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項13のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
