Description
Claims (20)
- 組織壁の欠損部を閉鎖するためのシステムにおいて、当該システムが:
a.近位端と遠位端とを有する基礎部材であって、前記近位端はオペレータによって手動操作されるよう構成されている基礎部材と;
b.近位端と、遠位端と、長軸と、前記近位端と遠位端の間のらせん状の全長とを有し、中を通るらせん管腔を規定するらせん管状部材であって、前記近位端は前記基礎部材に連結され、前記遠位端は前記らせん管腔の遠位出口を規定するらせん管状部材と;
c.前記らせん状の全長の2以上の部分に沿って前記らせん管状部材に連結され、前記らせん管状部材から切り離されたときに前記組織壁の一部へと展開されるよう構成された細長プロテーゼと、
d.細長い中心部を有するプラグ部材を具えており;
前記らせん管状部材は、当該らせん管状部材の長軸に実質的に位置合わせされた欠損部を有する前記組織壁における進展位置へとらせん状に進展し、らせん状に引き込まれると前記細長プロテーゼから切り離されるように構成され、前記らせん管状部材のらせん状に進展した位置によって予め規定された形態と類似する展開らせん形態の前記細長プロテーゼを残し、前記展開らせん形態は前記欠損部の接合を保持するよう選択され、
前記プラグ部材は、前記組織壁の欠損部内に挿入することができ、前記組織壁の欠損部の深さ寸法の少なくとも一部に架かり、前記欠損部に近接する前記組織壁の少なくとも一部を、前記プラグ部材と前記細長プロテーゼの展開らせん形態の部分との間の狭窄構造内に配置するよう構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記基礎部材が、細長いシャフトを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記基礎部材がその中を通る穴を規定しており、前記穴は、前記基礎部材と、カテーテル、カニューレ、拡張器、針、ガイドワイヤ、および細長プローブから成る群から選択された細長い器具との間の可動連結を容易にするよう構成されていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記らせん管状部材が、2mm乃至25mmの管の外径を有することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記らせん管状部材が、0.254mm乃至2.032mmのらせん管腔直径を有することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記らせん管状部材が、1mm乃至10mmのらせん巻線ピッチを有することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記らせん管状部材の遠位端が、切断先端部を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記らせん管状部材が、金属またはポリマ材料を含むことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項8に記載のシステムにおいて、前記らせん管状部材が、金属ハイポチューブのらせん状に曲がった切り口を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記細長プロテーゼが、前記らせん管腔の形状とは異なる無負荷での3次元形状を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記無負荷での3次元形状が、実質的に直線であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記無負荷での3次元形状が、前記らせん管腔よりも小さい円形断面直径を有するらせん形状を具えていることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項10に記載のシステムにおいて、前記細長プロテーゼの3次元形状は、当該細長プロテーゼが前記らせん管状部材に配置されていないときに一定でないことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項13に記載のシステムにおいて、前記細長プロテーゼが、縫合糸、ワイヤ、リンケージからなる群から選択された要素を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記細長プロテーゼが、金属、非生体再吸収性ポリマ、生体再吸収性ポリマ、非生体再吸収性コポリマ、および生体再吸収性コポリマからなる群から選択された材料を含むことを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記細長プロテーゼがさらに、遠位アンカーを具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項16に記載のシステムにおいて、前記遠位アンカーが、節、突起部材、および留め具形状からなる群から選択された要素を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記プラグ部材が、前記中心部の遠位端に連結された遠位部分と、前記中心部の近位端に連結された近位部分とを具え、前記近位部分および遠位部分はそれぞれ折り畳まれた形状から拡張した形状に拡張可能であり、これにより、それぞれの折り畳まれた形状の外径は前記中心部よりも大きくなることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記プラグ部材の中心部が、実質的に円筒の形状を具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項18に記載のシステムにおいて、前記プラグ部材が、金属、非生体再吸収性ポリマ、生体再吸収性ポリマ、非生体再吸収性コポリマ、生体再吸収性コポリマ、および織地からなる群から選択された材料を含むことを特徴とするシステム。
