即ち、走行中に突然雨に遭遇した場合、雨具を着用する為に屋根若しくは軒先のある所まで雨中を走らなければならなく、やっと屋根の有る所までたどり着いた時には膝の辺りはずぶ濡れに成っておりこの時点で膝が冷えきっている。しかも濡れてしまった状態の上から雨具を着用しなければ成らなく、この不快感には耐え難い物があり、その後の走行にも集中力を欠いてしまっていた。
雨具着用の不便さを解決する目的で、運転者を囲む構造の防雨カバーが提案されているが、全体が大きすぎるために走行時に風の抵抗が大きかったり、ハンドルの操作性が悪くなることや、制作にコストがかかるなどの欠点があった。(特許文献1)

本発明の第2の特徴は、防雨カバーが中央ライト下部からフロントカバーまでのみを覆うようにハンドルに固定されていることを特徴とする自動二輪車用防雨カバーである。
本発明の第3の特徴は、防雨カバーをハンドルに固定する固定具としてへの字型金具を用い、両サイドミラー取付部Aにへの字型の取付金物の短辺Bをサイドミラーで固定し、への字型取付金物の長辺CかつDに防雨カバーのE、Fを合わせ固定したことを特徴とする自動二輪車用防雨カバーである。
本発明の第4の特徴は、平板または曲板カバーの材質が、透明または半透明のプラスチック製であることを特徴とする自動二輪車用防雨カバーである。

本発明において、自動二輪車とは、エンジンやモーターなどを動力とする原動機を搭載した二輪車でスクーター等である。
図1、図2は、本発明の二輪車用防雨カバーを前方から見た斜視図ある。
本発明の二輪車用防雨カバーは、平板状であっても、曲板状であってもよい。曲板状の場合の曲率は特に限定されないが、走行中足に当たらない事を条件としフロントカバーを覆う程度で、曲板の厚み(H1)が15cm以内とすると良い。
本発明の二輪車用防雨カバーの材質は、特に限定されないが、透明または半透明のプラスチック製であることが好ましい。プラスチックの材質としては、例えばアクリル樹脂等が選ばれる。
本発明の二輪車用防雨カバーの厚みは、特に限定されないが、耐久性や取扱い性の容易さから約3ミリ乃至5ミリであることが好ましい。
図3は、本発明の二輪車用防雨カバーを後方から見た斜視図である。
ハンドルグリップを覆う場合、曲率は特に限定されないが操作性を妨げない様被り厚さ(H2)は15cm以内が良い。図5は本発明を取り外した説明図である。
本発明の二輪車用カバーはへの字型または、他の金物で固定されるがボルトで固定する際ゴム製のワッシャーで挟み込んで固定するのが良い。取り付ける手順としては両サイドミラー取付部Aにへの字型の取付金物短辺のBを合わせサイドミラーで固定し、への字型取付金物の長辺CかつDに二輪車用防雨カバーの取り付け穴E、Fを合わせゴム製ワッシャーで挟み込み更に金属性のワッシャーをあてがいボルトで固定する。現在市販のハンドルカバーを取り付けている場合、一度ハンドルカバーを取り外しハンドルグリップを覆わない防雨カバー(図4)を同様に取り付けその後市販のハンドルカバーを取り付ければ良い。
