Claims (15)
- 水塊中に配置される波動ポンプ装置であって、
水底に固定され、ボアを形成している潜水可能シリンダと、
前記潜水可能シリンダの上端部に対して作用し、前記潜水可能シリンダを水中において直立姿勢に付勢する水中フロートと、
使用時において、波動及び潮動に応じて、前記水塊中を上下に移動するべく前記水塊の表面又はその十分近傍に配設される表面フロートと、
前記表面フロートから垂下するとともに、前記潜水可能シリンダの前記ボア内に挿入され、前記潜水可能シリンダに対して相対移動可能であって前記潜水可能シリンダ内にポンピングチャンバを形成する長手部材と、を備え、
前記ポンピングチャンバが前記水中フロートの下方の高さまで前記シリンダ内を伸長し、
前記ポンピングチャンバの容積がポンピングサイクルにおいて波動と共に変化して、前記長手部材の上昇ストローク時に前記ポンピングチャンバ内に流体を取り込み、前記長手部材の下降ストローク時に前記ポンピングチャンバから流体を吐出し、
前記水塊の底に対して前記潜水可能シリンダを移動させる必要無く、有効ポンピングサイクルが潮汐範囲に渡って連続しながら、前記長手部材を前記潜水可能シリンダに対して伸長又は退避させることによって、変化する潮の深さに適合するべく潮汐移動と共に前記ポンピングチャンバの長さが変化し、
前記長手部材が前記潜水可能シリンダの前記ボア内に退避する程度に、前記長手部材は前記ボアの断面積を大きな部分を占める波動ポンプ装置。 - 前記長手部材の下降ストロークが主たる又は唯一の作用ストロークとなるように構成されている請求項1に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 更に、前記潜水可能シリンダの下端部領域に設けられた入口を有し、この入口は前記ポンピングチャンバと連通するとともに、前記長手部材の上昇ストローク時に前記ポンピングチャンバへと流体を取り入れるように構成されている請求項1又は2に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記長手部材は内部空洞を有し、前記内部空洞はバラストを収納している請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記ボア内において前記潜水可能シリンダと前記長手部材との間にクリアランス領域が形成されており、前記クリアランス領域の幅は、前記長手部材の直径の2%未満である請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記長手部材は、前記ボア内にスライド取り付けされている請求項5に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記クリアランス領域内にベアリングが設けられている請求項6に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 使用時において、植物又は藻が前記クリアランス領域に堆積して前記長手部材の前記潜水可能シリンダ内での移動を潤滑するように構成されている請求項5〜7の何れか一項に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記長手部材の前記潜水可能シリンダ内での移動中に過剰な厚みの植物を除去するために前記クリアランス領域の入口にスクレーパが設けられている請求項8に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記装置は、使用時において、前記クリアランス領域の水膜が前記長手部材の前記潜水可能シリンダ内での移動を潤滑するように構成されている請求項5〜9の何れか一項に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記潜水可能シリンダを前記水塊の底に固定するために繋ぎ具を取り付けることが可能な単一の繋ぎポイントを有している請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 前記長手部材は、前記ボアの直径の少なくとも90%である直径を有する請求項1〜11の何れか一項に記載の波動ポンプ装置。
- 波動ポンプ装置を使用する流体のポンピング方法であって、
前記ポンプ装置は、潜水可能シリンダであってその上端部に対して水中フロートが作用することによって直立姿勢に向けて付勢される潜水可能シリンダと、当該潜水可能シリンダに対して相対移動可能であって前記潜水可能シリンダ内において水中フロートの下方の高さまでに伸張するポンピングチャンバを形成する長手部材と、前記潜水可能シリンダの上方に配設されるとともに前記長手部材に接続される表面フロートとを有し、前記表面フロートと前記長手部材とが水塊における波動と潮動とによって前記潜水可能シリンダに対して往復移動するように構成されたものにおいて、
前記方法は、
波動ポンピングサイクル中に流体をポンピングし、これによって水塊の波動によって前記表面フロートと前記長手部材とが或る周波数で、かつ前記水塊の波の周波数と振幅とによって駆動される程度に前記潜水可能シリンダに対して往復移動される工程と、
潮汐期間全体を通して流体をポンピングするべく前記波動ポンピングサイクルを維持しながら、前記潜水可能シリンダに対して前記長手部材を相対移動可能に延出、退避させることによって、潮汐期間中に前記水塊の潮振動に対して調節する工程と、を有する流体のポンピング方法。 - 更に、潮汐周期中に前記水塊中において前記潜水可能シリンダの高さを実質的に維持する工程を有する請求項13に記載の流体のポンピング方法。
- 更に、前記ポンプ装置を、満潮と干潮との間の水の平均深さの変化が最大で12mである水塊中において作動させる工程と、
高潮時における水塊の波に対応するべく前記長手部材が前記潜水可能シリンダから更に延出することを許容しながら、高潮に対して適合するべく前記長手部材を前記潜水可能シリンダから最大12mまで延出させる工程と
を有する請求項14に記載の流体のポンピング方法。
