Description
・膵臓の充実性病変または嚢胞性病変。固形化した腫瘤または嚢胞は膵臓中で成長しうる。これらが悪性腫瘍または良性病変かどうかを診断するために、これらを穿刺する必要がある。たとえば膵炎によって液化した嚢胞を、排水するためにEUS−FNAを用いて穿刺することもできる。
・周囲のリンパ節の内容を評価することによる癌の病期。肺癌、膵臓癌、胃癌または直腸癌を含む多くの癌では特に、転移はリンパ節で見つかることが多い。したがって、もしも癌が転移しているなら、リンパ節を穿刺することにより診断が可能となる。
Claims (14)
- 針を通って固形臓器中に配置されることにより、被験者の固形臓器を検査するための光プローブであって、
光ファイバー束と、
軸部および頭部を含み、光ファイバー束の遠位端を保護するフェルールと、
光ファイバー束および軸部を覆うケースと、を含み、
軸部およびフェルールの頭部は、同軸上に取り付けられ、いずれも内径が同じチューブ形状を有することによって内腔を規定し、
フェルールの頭部は、ケースを針の中に保持している間に、光プローブが固形臓器を撮像するのに適した長さを有することを特徴とする光プローブ。 - 光ファイバー束の遠位端にて同軸上に対物レンズをさらに含み、
フェルールは対物レンズと光ファイバー束の遠位端とを接続し、
光ファイバー束および対物レンズは、内腔の内部に収容されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光プローブ。 - 軸部と頭部との間に外部接合部をさらに含み、
外部接合部は、面取りがされていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光プローブ。 - 軸部、頭部および外部接合部が一体的に成形されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光プローブ。
- フェルールの頭部と軸部との間に配置され面取りがされた外部接合部に設けられた接着剤をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の光プローブ。
- 臓器に接触して撮像するために、フェルールの頭部が対物レンズの先端まで伸長することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光プローブ。
- 臓器に接触して撮像するために、フェルールの頭部が光ファイバー束の先端まで伸長することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光プローブ。
- 光ファイバー束、フェルールおよびケースのそれぞれは、0.9mm未満の外径を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光プローブ。
- フェルールの長さが8mm未満であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光プローブ。
- フェルールの頭部の外径がケースの外径に等しいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の光プローブ。
- 頭部が所定長を超えて針から突出することを防止するロック機構をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光プローブ。
- ケースの内壁面は、軸部に密着するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光プローブ。
- 空気で充填されることにより光プローブによる超音波の可視化を促進するための少なくとも1つの中空断面をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の光プローブ。
- 共焦点顕微鏡と、請求項1に記載の光プローブと、を含むことを特徴とする被験者の固形臓器を検査するための共焦点顕微鏡システム。
