Claims (9)
- 先端が人体の内部に挿入されるカテーテルシャフトと、非連続的に光を発する光源装置と、を備え、前記光源装置から発せられた光を前記カテーテルシャフトの基端側から先端側へと伝達し人体に照射して深部固形癌を治療するための医療用光照射装置であって、
治療用薬剤を供給する薬剤供給源と、
前記薬剤供給源から供給された薬剤を前記カテーテルシャフト内部の基端側から先端側へと流通させて人体の特定部位に到達させるための薬剤供給流路と、
前記光源装置から発せられた光を前記カテーテルシャフト内部の基端側から先端側へと伝達する光ファイバと、
前記光源装置から発せられ伝達された光を拡散させるように前記光ファイバの先端に設けられた光拡散手段と、を備え、
前記光拡散手段は、多面体状の透明部材、又は、前記光ファイバの先端から放射状に多数分岐する枝状部を有する透明部材であって、150°以上の照射角で光を照射させるものである、医療用光照射装置。 - 前記光源装置は、ストロボ光源を有する、請求項1に記載の医療用光照射装置。
- 前記光源装置は、前記ストロボ光源の発光周期を調整する発光周期制御手段を有する、請求項2に記載の医療用光照射装置。
- 前記光源装置は、前記ストロボ光源の閃光時間を調整する閃光時間制御手段を有し、
前記閃光時間制御手段は、前記閃光時間のデューティ比を0.1以上に設定するものである、請求項2又は3に記載の医療用光照射装置。 - 前記光源装置は、発する光の照射強度を調整する発光強度制御手段を有し、
前記発光強度制御手段は、前記照射強度を10000lux以上に設定するものである、請求項1から4の何れか一項に記載の医療用光照射装置。 - 前記カテーテルシャフトの先端に設けられたバルーンと、
膨張流体を前記カテーテルシャフト内部の基端側から先端側の前記バルーンへと供給するための流体供給流路と、
を備える、請求項1から5の何れか一項に記載の医療用光照射装置。 - 前記カテーテルシャフト内部の流体供給流路を経由して供給した生理食塩水を前記カテーテルシャフトの先端から放出させるフラッシング機構を備える、請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載の医療用光照射装置。
- 前記治療用薬剤は、光感受性物質である、請求項1から7の何れか一項に記載の医療用光照射装置。
- 前記光感受性物質は、アクリジンオレンジである、請求項8に記載の医療用光照射装置。
