Claims (15)
- ケーブル部を環境から封止するための巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体であって、
巻き付け型スリーブと、マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチとを具備し、
前記巻き付け型スリーブは、縦方向延長部と、互いに対向する第1及び第2の縦縁とを有し、
前記縦方向延長部は、前記巻き付け型スリーブが前記ケーブル部の周囲に巻回される際に、前記ケーブル部の周囲に延びるケーブル室の一部を区画し、
前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチは、前記縦方向延長部の内面に配置され、前記縦方向延長部を横切って延び、
前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチは、前記巻き付け型スリーブが前記ケーブル部の周囲に巻回される際に、前記ケーブル部と係合して前記ケーブル部の周囲に連続的環境周囲封止を形成するように構成されると共に配置され、
前記第2縦縁に隣接して前記巻き付け型スリーブ上に実装され、前記巻き付け型スリーブが前記ケーブル部の周囲に巻回される際に、前記巻き付け型スリーブの前記第1及び第2の縦縁を環境から封止するよう構成され配置された、縦方向に延びるマスチック樹脂製閉鎖ストリップをさらに具備し、
前記マスチック樹脂製閉鎖ストリップは、前記巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体の所定の作動温度範囲の全温度で前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチより柔軟であることを特徴とする巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。 - 前記巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体は冷間ケーブル被覆組立体であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチは半架橋されたマスチック樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチは予加熱されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記縦方向延長部の内面に配置され、前記縦方向延長部を横切って延びる第2マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチをさらに具備し、
前記第2マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチは、前記巻き付け型スリーブが前記ケーブル部の周囲に巻回される際に、前記ケーブル部と係合して前記ケーブル部の周囲に第2連続的環境周囲封止を形成するように構成されると共に配置され、
前記第2マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチは、第1の前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチから縦方向に離間していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。 - 前記巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体はコネクタシステムをさらに具備し、
前記コネクタシステムは、前記巻き付け型スリーブの前記第1縦縁に沿って延びると共にインサート部材を有する第1コネクタ部と、本体部の前記第2縦縁に沿って延びると共に、前記巻き付け型スリーブが前記ケーブル部の周囲に巻回される際に前記インサート部材を受容するよう構成されたソケットを有する第2コネクタ部とを具備し、
前記マスチック樹脂製閉鎖ストリップは前記ソケット内に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。 - 前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチ及び前記マスチック樹脂製閉鎖ストリップは、前記巻き付け型スリーブが前記ケーブル部の周囲に巻回される際に互いに封止接触することを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記縦方向延長部は、波状部と、内部波状面とを有し、
前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチは、前記内部波状面と形状が一致することを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。 - 前記巻き付け型スリーブが前記ケーブル部の周囲に巻回されて前記マスチック樹脂製ケーブルパッチに半径方向内向きの圧縮荷重を印加する際に、前記巻き付け型スリーブの周囲に取付け可能な圧縮部材を有する補助圧縮システムをさらに具備することを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記圧縮部材はケーブルタイからなることを特徴とする請求項9記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記補助圧縮システムは、前記巻き付け型スリーブ上に配置可能な固定部材をさらに具備し、
前記固定部材は、前記巻き付け型スリーブ及び前記圧縮部材と機械的に係合し、前記巻き付け型スリーブ及び前記圧縮部材間の相対移動を制限するよう構成されていることを特徴とする請求項9記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。 - 前記圧縮部材は弾性部材からなることを特徴とする請求項9記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記圧縮部材は、ホールドアウトに取り付けられた弾性バンドからなることを特徴とする請求項12記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記圧縮部材は弾性テープからなることを特徴とする請求項13記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
- 前記巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体は、前記ケーブル部上に取り付けられる際にIEEE規格404−2006に準拠することを特徴とする請求項1記載の巻き付け型ケーブルスリーブ組立体。
