The present invention uses a photocurable adhesive composition, particularly a photocurable adhesive composition for assembling a camera module, a camera module assembled using the photocurable adhesive composition, and the photocurable adhesive composition. The present invention relates to a method for assembling a camera module.
Camera modules used for mobile phones and the like are becoming smaller as the mobile phones become thinner. Therefore, the part where the camera module is bonded and fixed is becoming finer. For example, there are an adhesion site between a lens unit called a lens barrel and a pedestal (housing), an adhesion site between a filter (IR cut filter) and a pedestal (housing), and the like (Patent Document 1).
As a method for applying a small amount of adhesive to a fine site, there is a pin transfer method in which an adhesive is applied to the tip of a needle for application, but it is difficult to stably control the application amount. For this reason, it is desirable to use a dispenser that uses a nozzle, particularly a dispenser that uses a narrow nozzle, in order to apply a small amount of adhesive to a fine site.
Conventionally, as a photocurable adhesive composition for assembling a camera module, an ultraviolet curable or thermosetting adhesive whose main component is an acrylic resin or an epoxy resin is preferable (Patent Document 2), It has been reported that a thermosetting adhesive is used (Patent Document 3). However, these patent documents do not specifically describe the composition of the adhesive.
For camera modules used in mobile phones and the like, impact resistance against dropping is very important, and in order to satisfy this, the adhesive must have a large adhesive force. If the adhesive force is small, the adhesive surface is easily peeled off by a drop impact. If the camera module is reduced in size and the adhesion area is reduced, the adhesion surface is easily peeled off, so that it is necessary to improve the adhesive strength of the adhesive, that is, the drop impact property.
In order to improve adhesiveness, it is necessary to reduce the shrinkage stress of the adhesive during photocuring, and to reduce the shrinkage stress during photocuring, it is effective to add a filler to the adhesive . However, the photocurable adhesive added with a filler has a problem that it is difficult to apply using a dispenser using a nozzle, particularly a narrow nozzle. In the case of coating with a narrow nozzle, a photo-curable adhesive without adding a filler has been used. As described above, the photo-curing resin to which no filler is added can be applied with a narrow nozzle, but has a problem that the adhesiveness is low and the drop impact property is inferior (see Comparative Example 1 described later).
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a photocurable adhesive composition suitable for camera module assembly, which can be applied without problems even if a dispenser using a nozzle is used and has improved adhesion.

The “spherical nanosilica” in the present invention refers to silica having a substantially spherical shape having a nano-level particle size. The particle size of the spherical nanosilica is preferably 30 nm to 500 nm, more preferably 30 nm to 150 nm, and particularly preferably 50 nm to 100 nm. When spherical nanosilica is used as a filler, an increase in viscosity can be suppressed, a stable application can be performed without clogging the nozzle of the dispenser, and the adhesive force can be improved. The viscosity of the photocurable adhesive composition can be adjusted by the particle size of the spherical nanosilica to be blended. When silica having a particle size larger than the nano level is used, an increase in viscosity can be suppressed, but the nozzle may be clogged, which is not preferable.
The addition amount of the spherical nanosilica is preferably 5 to 40 parts by weight, more preferably 10 to 30 parts by weight, and particularly preferably 10 to 20 parts by weight with respect to 80 parts by weight of the (meth) acrylate mixture (A). When there is too little addition amount of spherical nano silica, the adhesive improvement effect will be inferior. If the amount of spherical nanosilica added is too large, the viscosity becomes too high and the effect of improving adhesiveness cannot be obtained. The viscosity of the photocurable adhesive composition can be adjusted by adding the spherical nanosilica.

The camera module of the present invention is a camera module assembled by adhering the adhesion sites using the above-mentioned photocurable adhesive composition.
The present invention is a method for assembling a camera module, comprising the steps of applying the above-mentioned photocurable adhesive composition to an adhesion site of a camera module, and then photocuring the coating layer to adhere the adhesion site. The adhesion part of the camera module is as described above.
In the assembling method of the present invention, a conventionally known method can be used as a method for applying the photocurable adhesive composition to the adhesion site. A method of applying using a dispenser is preferable in that the amount of application can be stably adjusted. The nozzle of the dispenser can be any nozzle from wide (thick) (for example, having an inner diameter of 0.7 mm) to narrow (thin) (for nozzles having an inner diameter of 100 to 300 μm, for example, having an inner diameter of 150 or 190 μm). It can be used. In the case of assembling a small camera module, it is particularly preferable to perform application using a dispenser having a narrow nozzle. Examples of narrow nozzle dispensers include Musashi Engineering SN-27G: Inner Diameter 190 μm and SN-28G: Inner Diameter 150 μm. The applied photocurable adhesive composition is photocured to bond the parts of the camera module. Photocuring can be performed by an ordinary method using energy rays, particularly ultraviolet rays.
