動物組織由来のゲノムDNAの単離に関する製造業者のプロトコルに従ってウィザードゲノムDNA精製キット(Promega、USDA)を使用して、25mgのアイプタシア・プルチェラ及びアネモニア・ビリダンス(Anemonia viridans)から精製鋳型DNAを調製した。Reddy Mix PCRマスターミックス(ABgene, UK)を使用して以下のプロトコルによってアイプタシア・プルチェラ及びアネモニア・ビリダンス由来の500ngの精製鋳型DNAでPCRを行った:95℃−5分(95℃ 30秒、52℃ 30秒及び72℃ 1分)×35、72℃ 10分。

固相方法を用いて以下で挙げられたペプチドを合成し、Peptron Inc.(Taejeon, Korea)により90%尺度まで精製を行った。

本発明による最も活性のある環状ペプチドを同定するために、ペプチド精製器を備えた手動のParallel Peptide合成装置を用いて、互いに長さ及び環化戦略が異なるペプチドを生成する。マイクロプレート及びフローセルアッセイにおいて接着防止活性に関してそれぞれのペプチドをスクリーニングし、高活性ペプチドの選択を行う。幾つかのバージョンのペプチドのコンピュータモデリングを用いて、活性化合物の選択を最適化する。
任意で好ましくは、水及び/又は液体培地、又はこれらを含有する、例えば逆浸透フィルター及び/又は濾過装置若しくは濾過システムが挙げられるがこれらに限定されないシステム若しくは装置を処理するのに上記のペプチド及び/又は組成物及び/又は生物を使用してもよい。
脱塩条件下での逆浸透生物汚損に対するイソギンチャク目抽出物の効果を決定する。
