Claims (7)
- 対合構造(300)を介して軸方向に取り外し可能に互いに対合した複数の燃料棒セグメント(110)と、
前記燃料棒セグメントのうちの少なくとも1つの燃料棒セグメント内に配置した照射ターゲット(620)と、
中性子吸収材の1つおよび/または複数の組み合わせを含む少なくとも1つの対合構造の少なくとも一部と、
を備え、
前記中性子吸収材の1つおよび/または複数の組み合わせが、前記照射ターゲットと同じ材料を含む、
多セグメント燃料棒。 - 前記複数の燃料棒セグメントが、第2の燃料棒セグメントに取り外し可能に対合した第1の燃料棒セグメントを少なくとも含み、前記第1の燃料棒セグメントがオス接続部材(330)を有し、前記第2の燃料棒セグメントが、前記オス接続部材を受け入れるメス接続部材(350)を有する、請求項1に記載の燃料棒。
- 前記複数の燃料棒セグメントが、第2の燃料棒セグメントに取り外し可能に対合した第1の燃料棒セグメントを少なくとも含み、前記第1の燃料棒セグメントが第1のオス接続部材(1402)を有し、前記第2の燃料棒セグメントが第2のオス接続部材(1406)を有し、スリーブ部材(1404)が第1のメス接続部材および第2のメス接続部材を有し、前記第1のメス接続部材が前記第1のオス接続部材を受け入れ、前記第2のメス接続部材が前記第2のオス接続部材を受け入れる、請求項1に記載の燃料棒。
- 前記中性子吸収材の1つおよび/または複数の組み合わせが、核燃料でない、請求項1、2または3記載の燃料棒。
- 前記中性子吸収材の1つおよび/または複数の組み合わせが、3より大きい原子量を有する、請求項1、2または3記載の燃料棒。
- 少なくとも1つの燃料棒セグメントが、少なくとも1つの容器アセンブリ(600)を収容し、前記容器アセンブリが、
第1の端部と、
第2の端部と、
前記照射ターゲットと、
前記第1の端部および前記第2の端部のうちの少なくとも1つに付着して、前記容器アセンブリの内側の前記照射ターゲットをシールするように構成される端キャップ(630)と
を備える、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の燃料棒。 - 前記照射ターゲットが、コバルトCo−59、モリブデン−99、クロム−50、銅−63、ジスプロシウム−164、エルビウム−168、ホルミウム−165、ヨウ化物−130、イリジウム−191、鉄−58、ルテチウム−176、パラジウム−102、リン−31、カリウム−41、レニウム−185、サマリウム−152、セレン−74、ナトリウム−23、ストロンチウム−88、イッテルビウム−168、イッテルビウム−176、イットリウム−89、およびキセノン−132のうちの1つを含む、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の燃料棒。
