Claims (20)
- 組織層の下に対して行われる外科的手術を支援するために体内で使用される医療システムにおいて、
カメラと、
前記カメラに取り付けられた遠位端を有する長尺部材であって、第一の方向に屈曲可能であり、前記第一の方向と反対の第二の方向への屈曲には抵抗する長尺部材と、
前記長尺部材を摺動可能に受けるガイドシースと、を含み、
前記長尺部材は前記ガイドシースの遠位端から延びて、前記カメラが前記ガイドシースの前記遠位端から外に出るようになっており、
前記ガイドシースは、第一の軸を画定する第一のシース部分と、第二の軸を画定する第二のシース部分を含み、前記ガイドシースは、前記第一のシース部分が前記第二のシース部分に対して曲がり、第一の屈曲部を画定する手術形態を有し、
前記長尺部材は、前記ガイドシースに対して摺動すると、前記第一の屈曲部を通って前記第一の方向に屈曲するように前記ガイドシースに対して方向付けられており、前記ガイドシースの前記遠位端から外に出た突出部分は前記第二の方向への屈曲に抵抗するようにされた、医療システム。 - 前記長尺部材は、その自重や前記カメラの重量では屈曲しないように、屈曲に十分に抵抗する、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記長尺部材は、前記長尺部材の前記突出部分が前記ガイドシースの前記遠位端から直線的に延びる長尺部材軸を画定するように、屈曲に十分に抵抗する、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記長尺部材が、複数の連結小片により形成され、これらが隣接する連結小片間で相対的に回転するように相互に一体に接続されている、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記連結小片が、各連結小片の第一の側で屈曲可能な帯状片によって接続されている、請求項4に記載の医療システム。
- 前記連結小片が各々の端で相互にヒンジ接続され、前記端が、隣接する連結小片が前記第一の方向に相互に対して回転できるように構成されるが、隣接する連結小片が前記第二の方向に相互に向かって回転するのを制限するような端面を画定する、請求項4に記載の医療システム。
- 前記端面が、第一の側面が前記第一の方向に向かって位置付けられる面取り部を画定する、請求項6に記載の医療システム。
- 前記長尺部材は中空であり、前記長尺部材の前記遠位端まで延びる通路を画定し、さらに、前記通路を通って延び、前記カメラに動作的に接続された1本の制御線を含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記第一の屈曲部が、前記第一のシース部分が前記第二のシース部分に対して約90度の角度で曲げられることにより形成される、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記第一のシース部分が前記第二のシース部分に回転可能に取り付けられる、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記ガイドシースが、前記第一のシース部分が前記第二のシース部分に対して概ね平行である導入形態を有する、請求項10に記載の医療システム。
- 前記第一のシース部分が、前記第二のシース部分に対して、約90〜約135度にわたる扇形の範囲で回転するように動作可能である、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記第二のシース部分に対して曲がり、第二の屈曲部を画定する第三のシース部分をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記第二の屈曲部が固定された角度である、請求項13に記載の医療システム。
- 前記第一と第二の屈曲部が、前記手術形態では、前記長尺部材を180度屈曲させて、前記長尺部材の近位部分が前記長尺部材の遠位部分と略平行になるような向きである、請求項13に記載の医療システム。
- 前記カメラを支持し、前記長尺部材の前記遠位端に取り付けられたカメラヘッドをさらに含み、前記カメラヘッドが、前記長尺部材に固定された近位側ヘッド部分と、前記近位側ヘッド部分に回転可能に取り付けられた遠位側ヘッド部分を含む、請求項1に記載の医療システム。
- 前記遠位側ヘッド部分は、前記遠位側ヘッド部分が前記近位側ヘッド部分に対して曲がるように、旋回軸の周囲で回転する、請求項16に記載の医療システム。
- 前記旋回軸が、前記長尺部材の、前記ガイドシースから外に出る突出部分の縦軸に垂直である、請求項17に記載の医療システム。
- 前記遠位側ヘッド部分が第一の旋回軸の周囲で回転し、前記第一の旋回軸が前記長尺部材の、前記ガイドシースから外に出る突出部分の縦軸に略平行である、請求項16に記載の医療システム。
- 前記近位側および遠位側ヘッド部分を相互に接続する中間ヘッド部分をさらに含み、前記中間ヘッド部分は、前記近位側および遠位側ヘッド部分の一方に対して、前記第一の旋回軸の周囲で回転可能であり、それによって前記遠位側ヘッド部分が前記近位側ヘッド部分に対して曲がり、前記中間ヘッド部分は、前記近位側および遠位側ヘッド部分のもう一方に対して、前記長尺部材の、前記ガイドシースから外に出る突出部分の縦軸に略平行な第二の旋回軸の周囲で回転可能である、請求項19に記載の医療システム。
