Claims (4)
- バッテリーケースの受容部内に受容された電極アセンブリを有する二次電池であって、
前記電極アセンブリは、複数の陽極及び陰極が相互に積み重ねられる一方、セパレータが前記陽極と陰極とのそれぞれの間に配置される構造で構成され、前記積み重ねられた陽極及び陰極から延在している電極タップが電極リードに結合される二次電池において、
前記バッテリーケースの前記受容部には、その外側上端で凹陥ステップが設けられ、それによって、前記電極アセンブリの電極タップ−電極リード結合部を除いて、前記バッテリーケースの前記受容部の内側上端部の少なくとも一部が前記電極アセンブリの上端に密接した状態になり、
前記凹陥ステップは、前記電極アセンブリが前記バッテリーケース内に取り付けられる後で、前記電極アセンブリの前記電極タップ−電極リード結合部の間に形成された空間に対応する前記バッテリーケースの前記受容部の前記上端の中間にのみ、形成されており、
前記バッテリーケースは、金属層及び樹脂層を含んでいる積層シートからなり、前記バッテリーケースは、前記電極アセンブリが前記バッテリーケースの前記受容部内に受容された後で、熱溶接によって密封されて、前記バッテリーケースがシールされるとともに、前記バッテリーケースの側部密封部が形成され、前記熱溶接は、前記凹陥ステップの領域にも実施され、
前記バッテリーケースの前記側部密封部が前記受容部と密接する状態になり得るように、前記側部密封部が垂直方向に曲げられることを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記電極アセンブリは、積み重ね構造、及び/又は積み重ね/折り畳み構造で構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記積層シートの前記金属層は、アルミニウムからなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記二次電池はリチウム−イオンポリマーバッテリーであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
