Description

という化学組成を有する溶融粒子であって、単一の酸化物Al2O3、TiO2、MgOに基づくモル百分率で、
180≦3t+a≦220、
a≦50、
m=100−a−t、
という組成に相当していて、式中、
・aはAl2O3のモル百分率であり、
・tはTiO2のモル百分率であり、
・mはMgOのモル百分率である、
溶融粒子に関する。
・55%未満のAl2O3、
・30%超70%未満のTiO2、
・1%超15%未満のMgO、
という化学組成を有する材料で構成されていることを特徴とする。
・39%超54%未満のAl2O3、例えば45%超52%未満のAl2O3、
・45%超55%未満のTiO2、例えば50%未満のTiO2、
・1%超5%未満のMgO、
という化学組成を有する。
a)原料を混合して出発原材料を作る工程、
b)融解液が得られるまで出発原材料を溶融させる工程、
c)前記融解液を完全に凝固させるよう、融解液を例えば3分未満で冷却する工程、
d)所望により、粒子混合物を得るよう前記固体の塊を粉砕する工程、
を含む方法にも関する。
・少なくとも5%、例えば少なくとも50%、又は少なくとも90%、更には100%の、本発明による粒子。混合物の残りの部分は、元素Al、Ti、Mgの単一酸化物又はこれらの酸化物の前駆物質、例えば前述の元素の炭酸塩、水酸化物又はその他の有機金属化合物の形をしたものの、粉末又は粒子あるいはその他の材料で構成されることが可能である。
・所望により、所望の細孔サイズに応じて選択される1〜30重量%の少なくとも1種の細孔形成剤。
・少なくとも1種の有機可塑化剤及び/又は有機結合剤。
・製品の成形を可能にするのに適量の水。
・Altichem社により販売されている98%超のTiO2を含むアナターゼ、又はEurope Minerals社により販売されている、95%超のTiO2を含み、120μm程度の中位径d50を有するルチル。
・Alcan社により販売されている、98%超のAl2O3を含み、85μm程度の中位径d50を有するアルミナAR75。
・Sifraco社により販売されている、99.5%超の純度と208μmの中位径d50を有するSiO2。
・Nedmag社により販売されている、純度が98%超で、80%を超える粒子が0.25mmと1mmの間の直径を有するMgO。
・97%程度のCaOを含み、80%を超える粒子が80μm未満の直径を有する石灰。
・Albemarle社により販売されている、99.5%超のK2CO3を含み、80%を超える粒子が0.25mmと1mmの間の直径を有する炭酸カリウム。
1)酸化物に基づく重量百分率で示した化学組成は、蛍光X線により測定した。
4)熱膨張係数(TEC)は、中位径d50が50μm未満の同じ粒度範囲の粉末から作製したペレットについてディラトメトリーにより25℃〜1000℃で通常得られる値の平均に相当する。ペレットは、プレス成形とそれに続く空気中にて1450℃で3時間の焼結により得られる。
特に粒子フィルタとしての用途のための、本発明に従って得られた材料で形成された部品の特性を調べる目的で、例1に従って調製した本発明による溶融粒子から、及び原材料の混合物(新たな例6)から、試料を作製した。
Claims (8)
- 擬似ブルッカイト型の酸化物相を主として含むか又はそれから構成されていて、且つチタン、アルミニウム及びマグネシウムを含む溶融粒子であり、酸化物に基づく重量百分率で、
・25%超52%未満のAl2O3、
・30%超70%未満のTiO2、
・1%超15%未満のMgO、
という化学組成を有する溶融粒子であって、単一の酸化物Al2O3、TiO2、MgOに基づくモル百分率で、
180≦3t+a≦220、
a≦50、
m=100−a−t、
という組成に相当していて、式中、
・aはAl2O3のモル百分率であり、
・tはTiO2のモル百分率であり、
・mはMgOのモル百分率である、
溶融粒子。 - 酸化物に基づく重量百分率で、
・35%超70%未満のTiO2、
・1%超10%未満のMgO、
という化学組成を有する、請求項1に記載の溶融粒子。 - 酸化物に基づく重量百分率で、
・39%超52%未満のAl2O3、
・39%超55%未満のTiO2、
・1%超5%未満のMgO、
という化学組成を有する、請求項2に記載の溶融粒子。 - SiO2ベースで、且つ前記酸化物に基づく重量百分率に関して、0.01%と20%の間の量のケイ素も含む、請求項1〜3の一つに記載の溶融粒子。
- 擬似ブルッカイト型の相から構成される主相と少なくとも1つの二次的相とを含み、前記二次的相がケイ酸塩相及び/又は少なくとも80%の酸化チタンTiO2を含む相である、請求項1〜4の一つに記載の溶融粒子。
- 前記擬似ブルッカイト型の酸化物相が式(Al2TiO5)x(MgTi2O5)1-x(この式中のxは0より大きい)に相当する固溶体である、請求項1〜5の一つに記載の溶融粒子。
- 請求項1〜6の一つに記載の粒子を製造する方法であって、
a)原料を混合して出発原材料を作る工程、
b)融解液が得られるまで出発原材料を溶融させる工程、
c)前記融解液を完全に凝固させるよう融解液を急速冷却する工程、及び、
d)工程c)の間に得た固体の塊を粉砕して粒子混合物を得る工程、
を含む粒子製造方法。 - アルミニウム又は融解金属と接触した状態で使用される耐火性部品、スライドゲート弁のプレート、金属フィルタの製造、又は焼結炉用匣鉢製品の製造の分野において使用するための、請求項1〜6の一つに記載の粒子を含むセラミック製品。
