Description

The present invention relates to a plate-like container for transporting and storing various glass substrates such as glass plates for glass, liquid crystal displays and plasma displays, and other plate-like bodies. .

Conventionally, as a transport container for storing and transporting a plate-like glass, a relatively large glass substrate such as a glass substrate for liquid crystal display, or a panel such as a solar battery panel or other impact-sensitive plate-like body, it is buffered. One plate-like body is formed in a longitudinal groove arranged at equal intervals on the inner surface of one opposite side wall of the container body. In general, those inserted one by one and supported in an upright state so as not to contact each other are stored.

In recent years, due to an increase in demand for large-sized liquid crystal televisions and plasma televisions, large-sized glass substrates in which one or both of the vertical and horizontal directions exceed 100 cm have been adopted as glass substrates for televisions. Transport containers for transport are also becoming larger.

However, in the conventional method of accommodating the glass substrate in an upright state by the vertical groove on the inner surface of the side wall, the glass substrate itself is bent and deformed by its own weight because of the large and heavy glass substrate, or the weight of the glass substrate is a container. When the load is concentrated on the bottom of the main body, the bottom of the container is compressed and deformed, and the cushion function and the impact relaxation function may be impaired.

In order not to cause such a problem, as illustrated in Patent Documents 1 to 3, glass substrates and protective sheets are alternately stacked and stored in a horizontal state in the container body, and each glass substrate is protected. A container for conveyance which has been received by a surface via a sheet has also appeared.

As described above, in the case of a transport container that stores a plate-like body such as a glass substrate in a horizontal state, the stored plate-like body is particularly affected by the vibration and impact during transportation at the corners of the peripheral edge. It is easy to receive, and there exists a possibility that damage may arise by contact with the bottom face of a container main body, or the side wall inner surface.

Therefore, various devices have been made. For example, in Patent Document 1, in a glass substrate transport box, an abutting member made of a flexible synthetic resin foam is provided on the inner wall of the box body (container body). By placing the peripheral edge of the glass substrate in contact therewith, each side and corner portion of the peripheral edge is held so as not to be in direct contact with the inner surface of the side wall. The shock is mitigated and protected against vibration in the surface direction.

Further, in the case of Patent Document 2, in order to protect the glass substrate stored in the glass substrate transport box, the corner portion of the glass substrate stored is prevented from coming into contact with the corner portion of the box body. In addition, by forming notch spaces at the four corners of the main body and forming concave grooves at intervals on the inner surface of the side wall of the main body, each side of the peripheral edge of the glass substrate contacts the inner surface of the side wall over the entire length. In addition, concave grooves are formed in the peripheral edge portion including the four corners of the inner bottom surface to prevent the edge of the glass substrate from contacting the inner bottom surface.

In the case of Patent Document 3 as well, a concave groove is formed in the peripheral portion of the bottom surface of the main body so that the peripheral edge of the plate-shaped body does not contact the bottom surface, and a buffer contact member is provided on the inner surface of the side wall. By bringing the peripheral edge of a plate-like body such as a glass substrate into contact therewith, each side or corner of the peripheral edge of the plate-like body is prevented from coming into direct contact with the inner surface of the side wall.

However, in any of the above cases, there are places where the plate-like body and the container itself are not satisfactorily satisfied due to vertical vibrations during transportation and transportation operations, drop impacts from the bottom corners, and the like.

For example, as shown in FIG. 13, notches 116 are formed at the four corners of the container main body 101, and recesses 117 for avoiding contact are provided at the four corners of the upper surface 114 a of the bottom 114. Even when the portion is not brought into contact with the corner of the container main body 101 and the upper surface of the bottom, the corner of the container main body 101 made of the synthetic resin foam can be used when the vibration is dropped from the corner of the container main body 101. The corner portion may be bent and deformed (two-dot chain line), or the corner top surface side of the bottom portion 114 may be compressed, so that the corner portion b1 of the plate-like body B may come into contact with the bottom surface 117a of the recess 117. The contact may cause damage such as breakage of the corner b1 of the plate-like body B.

The present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and is a plate-like body for storing and transporting a plate-like body such as a glass substrate or a solar battery panel in a state of being stacked via a protective sheet. As a transport container, the corners of the stored plate-shaped body are well protected, and even if the container body is bent or deformed during vertical vibration or drop impact, the corners of the plate-shaped body are protected. It is intended to provide a plate-shaped container for transporting which can prevent the corner portion from directly contacting the container body.

The present invention for solving the above problems comprises a flat rectangular container body that opens upward and a lid that can be fitted to the container body, and stores a plurality of plate-shaped bodies in a stacked state. The container for transporting is provided with recesses for avoiding contact of the corners of the plate-like body stored on the bottom at the four corners of the upper surface of the bottom of the container body, and the bottom of the recess is , And is gradually inclined downward from the inner edge toward the outer edge.

As a result, the plate-like body such as the glass substrate housed in the container body is held in a floating state without contact with the upper surface of the bottom portion, with the corners at the positions of the recesses at the four corners of the container body. The For example, when the container body falls from one corner during transportation or handling, the one corner of the bottom of the container body is displaced upward due to the weight of the internal plate-like body. At the same time, the corner portion of the internal plate-like body is bent and deformed downward at the concave portion for avoiding contact with the bottom portion, and the peripheral portion of the concave portion is bent and deformed, The corner of the plate-like body tends to come into contact with the bottom surface of the recess, but in the case of the present invention, the bottom surface of the recess is gradually inclined downward from the inner edge toward the outer edge. Will not abut.

In the plate-like container for transportation, the four corners of the inner surface of the side wall of the container main body are provided with cutout portions formed to extend from the inner side surface of the side wall, and the concave portions are formed at the four corners of the bottom upper surface including the cutout portion. In this case, the corner portion of the plate-like body can be prevented from coming into contact with the side wall inner surface of the container body, particularly the inner surface of the corner portion, and the bottom surface of the recess is inclined. Further, it may be bent and deformed in a direction perpendicular to the surface while being displaced in the surface direction, and the corner portion can be prevented from contacting the bottom surface of the recess.

In the transport container for the plate-like body, the bottom surface of the concave portion has a depth from the top surface of the bottom at the outer edge thereof, which is about 1.5 to 2.5 times the depth from the top surface of the bottom of the inner edge. Those having an inclination of As a result, the corners of the container body and the corners of the plate-like body are not subjected to excessive load due to vibration or dropping without excessively thinning the bottom of the container body and without excessively deepening the depth. The contact of the corner portion of the plate-like body when the portion is bent and deformed can be avoided.

As described above, according to the container for transporting a plate-like body of the present invention, the bottom part or the plate of the container body is caused by vibration or dropping in handling such as transportation or transportation in a state where the plate-like body such as a glass substrate is accommodated. Even if the corner portion of the plate-like body is bent and deformed, the corner portion of the plate-like body does not come into contact with the bottom surface of the recess for avoiding contact at the four corner portions. There is no risk of damage, and it can be well protected.

Next, embodiments of the present invention will be described based on examples shown in the drawings.

FIGS. 1-10 has shown one Example of the container for conveyance of the plate-shaped body concerning this invention. The transport container A of this embodiment is a flat rectangular shape that opens upward and can store a plate-like body B such as a glass substrate to be stored in a state where the plate-like bodies are stacked with a protective sheet for spacers interposed therebetween. Or a square flat rectangular container body 1 and a lid 3 that can be attached to the container body 1.

As an attachment structure of the lid body 3 to the container body 1, the opening end portion 11 at the upper end of the side wall of the container body 1 is formed with a notched step portion 13 on the outside, leaving a convex edge 12 on the inside, On the lower surface side of the peripheral edge portion 31 of the lid body 3, a downward-facing fitting wall portion 32 that fits into and comes into contact with the notch step portion 13 outside the convex edge 12 at the opening end portion 11 is suspended. The lid 3 can be held in a state of being attached to the container body 1 by the fitting by the fitting wall portion 32.

The container body 1 is mainly formed of a synthetic resin foam having a buffering property, and a storage space is formed by the four side walls 15a, 15b, 15c, and 15d rising from the bottom portion. The storage space is formed to a depth that allows the required number of plate-like bodies B stacked via a protective sheet to be stored. Usually, although it changes also with the thickness of the plate-shaped body B, in the case of the plate-shaped body B, such as a glass substrate of thickness 2-5 mm, for example, it forms relatively shallowly so that about 10 to several dozen sheets can be accommodated.

A vertical notch 16 is formed inside the corner portion by the four side walls 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d of the container body 1, and the upper surface 14a of the bottom portion 14 serving as a receiving surface of the plate-like body B is formed. At the four corners including the notch 16, there are provided recesses 17 for avoiding contact of the corner b 1 of the plate-like body B stored on the bottom 14. The concave portion 17 is formed by being dropped about 5 to 15 mm with respect to the upper surface 14a. Thereby, in a normal storage state, the corner b1 of the plate-like body B stored on the bottom portion 14 does not contact the side walls 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d due to the notch 16, and The corner b1 of the lowermost plate-like body B is in a state of floating at the concave portion 17 so as not to contact the bottom 14.

In the case of the present invention, the bottom surface 17a of the concave portion 17 is gradually inclined downward from the inner edge, that is, the edge that is continuous with the upper surface 14a of the bottom portion 14, toward the outer edge, that is, the edge that is connected to the side wall. An inclined surface is formed so that the corners of the plate-like body B can be obtained even when the container body 1 is bent and deformed by receiving a large load during vibration or dropping during transportation or handling. The part b <b> 1 is not in contact with the bottom surface 17 a of the recess 17. The inclination is formed to be lower than the inner edge by about 5 to 10 mm on the outer edge side.

Further, at least one of the four side walls 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d of the container body 1 is opposed to the opposite side walls, for example, the inner surfaces of the long side walls 15a, 15c as shown in FIG. At a required portion such as a central portion in the vertical direction, at least one notch recess 18 for storing and taking out the plate-like body B having a groove shape in the vertical direction is provided. In the case of the figure, a notch recess 18 having a groove shape with a required depth from the upper end of the side wall to the bottom 14 is formed on two inner surfaces at intervals in the longitudinal direction of the side walls 15a and 15c on the long side. Yes. Accordingly, when the plate-like body B is stored and taken out, the fingertip can be hung under the lowermost plate-like body B by being inserted at the notch recess 18 or mechanically engaged. The stop means can be inserted up to the portion on the bottom portion 14 so as to be locked under the lowermost plate-like body B. Therefore, the cut-out recess 18 is formed with an extension that extends from the upper end of the side wall to the bottom 14 and enters the inner side of the bottom 14 slightly at the lower end.

The notch recess 18 may be formed by leaving the outer portion of the protruding edge 12 at the upper end of the side walls 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, but the thickness of the side walls 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d and the protruding line. When the outer portion of the ridge 12 cannot be left in a sufficiently thick state due to the thickness of the rim 12, as shown in FIG. A part is notched and formed to open outward. Reference numeral 18a denotes an outwardly opened portion.

One or more notch recesses similar to those described above can also be formed on the other short side wall 15b, 15d (not shown), but in the case of the illustrated embodiment, On the inner surfaces of the side walls 15b and 15d, vertical concave grooves 19 are formed at a required interval in order to prevent the short side edge of the plate-like body B from contacting the inner surface of the side wall over the entire length. Further, if necessary, an abutting member made of an elastic material is provided on the inner surface of each of the side walls 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d, and the edge of the plate-like body B is abutted and held on the abutting member. You can also. In this case, the recesses 17 at the four corners are formed so as to include a portion where the corner b1 of the plate-like body B to be stored is located.

The lid 3 is formed of a synthetic resin foam having a cushioning property similar to that of the container main body 1, and as described above, the lid 3 is fitted to the ridge 12 for fitting the opening end 11 of the container main body 1. It is provided so that it can be attached by fitting the wall 32.

In the case of the figure, the cover 3 is attached to the container body 1 at a location corresponding to the notch recess 18 for storing and taking out the inner wall of the side wall of the container body 1 on the lower surface of the peripheral edge 31 of the cover body 3. , A shielding wall 33 that fits into the notch recess 18 is suspended along the inside of the fitting wall portion 32, and the notch recess 33 is fitted into the notch recess 18, whereby the notch The recessed portion 18 is provided so as to shield and close the outwardly open portion 18a. As a result, a good sealing property can be maintained even in the open portion 18a of the cutout recess 18 of the container body 1, and entry of dust or the like from the cutout recess 18 can be prevented.

A portion outside the open portion 18a of the notch recess 18 in the notch step portion 13 of the container body 1 and a portion outside the shielding wall 33 in the fitting wall portion 32 of the lid 3 are the other portions. Similarly, it may be just abutted and brought into contact with each other in a horizontal plane. In this case, the inner surface of the notch recess 18 is shielded from the horizontal contact portion between the notch step portion 13 and the fitting wall portion 32. Since it is only continuous with the vertical contact portion with the vertical surface of the wall 33, dust or the like may enter through the gap between the contact portions. Therefore, in practice, the notch step portion 13 outside the open portion 18a. A protective contact surface portion 20 that prevents the intrusion of dust by inclining or refracting each other's contact surface is provided at the contact portion between this portion and the portion of the fitting wall portion 32 outside the shielding wall 33. preferable. The contact portion can be tilted or refracted in various shapes, but in practice, it has a portion that is inclined or refracted upward from the outside to the inside to prevent dust from entering. It is particularly preferable from the viewpoint of effect.

As the defensive contact surface portion 20, as shown in the figure, the notch step portion 13 of the container body 1 is provided with a notch portion 21 having a shape that is inclined or stepped down toward the outer surface side. The mating wall portion 32 may be provided with a protruding portion 34 that fits into the cutout portion 21. In the case of the figure, as the notch portion 21, the entire area corresponding to the thickness (width) of the notch step portion 13 in the inner and outer directions can be inclined, but the remaining portion inside the container of the notch portion 21 is triangular at the upper end. Since the protrusion 34 having a shape corresponding to this has a triangular shape at the lower end on the outer side, each has a problem in strength, as shown in the figure, the notches 21 are arranged on the inner surface side and the outer surface side of the container. It is preferable that the intermediate portion is formed as an inclined surface 21b while leaving the horizontal surfaces 21a and 21a having a little width, and the protrusion 34 has a shape corresponding to the notch 21.

As the protective contact surface portion 20, in addition to the above, as shown in FIG. 11, the notch step portion 13 of the container main body 1 is provided with a convex portion 22 that forms an inclination or a step that becomes higher toward the inner surface side. The third fitting wall portion 32 may be provided with a recessed portion 35 into which the convex portion 22 is fitted. In this case, the inclined surface of the convex portion 22 can be a steeply inclined surface that is nearly perpendicular to the notch step portion. Further, as shown in FIG. 12, the notch step portion 13 of the container body 1 is provided with a convex wall 23 surrounding the outwardly open portion 18 a of the notch recess portion 18, and the fitting wall portion 32 of the lid body 3 is provided with the convex wall 23. May be provided with a notch portion 36 into which the convex wall 23 is fitted, and a convex portion 37 to be fitted inside the convex wall 23. In any of these cases, the contact portion between the portion of the notch step portion 13 and the portion of the fitting wall portion 32 outside the shielding wall 33 has an inclined or refracted contact surface, thereby preventing dust from entering. The effect can be exhibited well. In particular, in the embodiment of FIGS. 1 to 10 and the embodiment of FIG. 11, the contact portion forms a contact surface that is inclined or refracted upward from the outside to the inside. It will be expensive.

The side wall 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d of the container body 1 has a sufficient thickness, and the cutout recess 18 is formed in the outer portion of the protruding rim 12 with a thickness that does not cause a problem in shape retention strength. When it is possible, it is not necessary to open the notch recess 18 outwardly, and the shielding wall and the protective contact surface portion are unnecessary.

In the above-mentioned transport container, at least one side of the container body 1 and the lid body 3, preferably the cutout step portions 13 of the side walls 15 a, 15 b, 15 c, 15 d of the container body 1 on each side, and the lid At least one concave portion 28a, 28b or convex portion 38a, 38b that fits each other when the lid is attached is formed at the lower end portion of the fitting wall portion 32 on each side of the four sides of the body 2, and the concave portion 28a, 28b and the projections 38a and 38b are fitted so that the displacement movement due to play in the dimension of the lid 3 in the attached state can be suppressed. In the illustrated embodiment, the notch step portion 13 of the opening end portion 11 of the container body 1 is provided with inverted trapezoidal concave portions 28 a and 28 b having both sides tapered, and the lower end portion of the fitting wall portion 32 of the lid 3. Are provided with inverted trapezoidal convex portions 38a and 38b which are fitted and inscribed in the concave portions 28a and 28b, and the tapered side surfaces are in contact with each other in the fitted state, so that the effect of suppressing lateral movement is greatly increased. Has been.

Accordingly, in consideration of the fact that the dimensional accuracy of the synthetic resin foam container main body 1 and the lid 3 is not so high and the ease of the fitting operation when the lid is attached, Even when the inner dimension of the fitting wall portion 32 is made slightly larger than the outer dimension and there is play on the dimension of about 1 to 1.5 mm on one side, the concave portions 28a and 28b and the convex portion By fitting 38a and 38b, it is possible to regulate the displacement movement of the attached lid 3 in both the vertical and horizontal directions (front and rear, left and right).

In the case of the figure, on the long side of the cutout step portion 13 of the container body 1 and the fitting wall portion 32 of the lid 3, one concave portion 28a and convex portion 38a are provided at the center portion, and the short side is spaced apart. Two concave portions 28b and convex portions 38b are provided.

Further, the recesses 28a and 28b and the projections 38a and 38b may be provided in a symmetrical arrangement and shape in the left-right and front-rear directions, respectively, but the notch step 13 on the side wall of the container body 1 and the lid 3 At least one opposite side of the fitting wall portion 32, for example, the concave portion 28b or the convex portion 38b on the short side side is asymmetric in arrangement and / or shape, and the lid 3 is attached to the container body 1. What is provided so that it can be fitted and attached when set in a certain direction is preferable.

The plate-like body B such as a glass substrate to be accommodated has a directionality depending on the type, for example, a type in which a terminal is attached to an edge portion. In this case, since the plate-like body B is stored in a certain direction, if the lid 3 can be attached to the container body 1 in a certain direction as described above, As one of the indications provided on the upper surface or side surface of the lid 3, it is possible to provide an indication indicating the direction of the internal plate B, and to a production line using a plate such as a glass substrate. Supply work becomes easy.

Note that, in the case of a transport container that does not have the above-described shielding wall, defense touch surface portion, or the like, the lid 3 is placed in the same direction at a position corresponding to the convex portions 38 a and 38 b on the upper surface of the peripheral edge 31 of the lid 3. If a concave portion (not shown) is provided in which the convex portions 38a and 38b are fitted when stacked, the plurality of lids are stacked in the same direction in the same direction during transportation and storage. I can keep it.

Reference numerals 29 and 39 in the drawing denote belt-engaging recesses in the container body 1 and the lid body 3. The container body 1 has a shallow groove shape extending from the side surface to the bottom bottom surface and from the side surface of the lid body 3 to the top surface 3a. It is formed to make.

Examples of the constituent material of the container body 1 and the lid 3 include styrene-modified polyolefin resin, polystyrene, high impact polystyrene, styrene-ethylene copolymer, styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer, styrene-acrylonitrile copolymer, and the like. Various synthetic resins such as polystyrene resins, polyolefin resins such as polyethylene, polypropylene, and ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymers, and polyester resins such as polyethylene terephthalate can be used. Especially, the molded object by the bead foam of a styrene modified polyolefin resin is used suitably. The styrene-modified polyolefin resin is obtained by impregnating and polymerizing a polyolefin resin particle with a styrene monomer. Among the styrene-modified polyolefin resins, a styrene-modified polyethylene resin is preferable, for example, a styrene component The ratio is 40 to 90% by weight, preferably 50 to 85% by weight, more preferably 55 to 75% by weight. The foaming ratio of the foam is preferably 3 to 50 times.

The molded product of the styrene-modified polyolefin resin bead foam is stronger than the molded product of the polypropylene resin beads having the same expansion ratio, and the shrinkage rate when a container having a depth exceeding 500 mm is molded. Low dimensional accuracy. Furthermore, there is an advantage that powder due to rubbing is less likely to be produced as compared with foamed molded products of styrene resin beads.

According to the above-described container A for transporting a plate-like body, the plate-like body B such as a base plate glass and a glass substrate for liquid crystal display is accommodated. At this time, the protective sheet C and the plate-like body B for spacers having a thickness of 0.2 to 5.0 mm are alternately stacked and stored on the bottom 14 in the container body 1. As the protective sheet C, a soft synthetic resin foam sheet, for example, a polyolefin resin foam sheet, is preferably used.

After the plate-like body B is stored as described above, the lid 3 is attached to the container body 1. In the case of the transport container A of the embodiment, the fitting wall portion 32 of the lid body 3 is fitted to the opening end portion 11 of the container body 1, and at the same time, the shielding wall 33 provided on the lower surface of the lid body 3 is formed in the notch recess 18. The protective contact surface portion 20 is fitted and then attached. Then, the entire transport container A is belted (not shown) and used for transportation or the like.

In such a use, the plate-like body B such as a glass substrate housed in the transport container A has the corners b1 at the positions of the notches 16 and the recesses 17 at the four corners of the container body 1. The side wall 15a, 15b, 15c, 15d is held without contact, and the corner b1 of the lowermost plate-like body B is held in a floating state at the recess 17. Therefore, the corner b1 does not come into contact with the container body 1 due to vibration during transportation.

In addition, especially in handling during transportation, a large load due to the stored plate-like body B on the corner of the container body 1 due to vibration during transportation or dropping from the corner of the container body 1 As shown in FIG. 8, the corner portion of the container body 1 is deformed so as to bend against the elastic force of the material, or the bottom portion connected to the inner edge of the concave portion 17 by the load of the plate-like body B. When the upper surface side portion of 14 is compressed and deformed, the corner b1 of the plate-like body B tries to come into contact with the bottom surface 17a of the recess 17 from the inclination of the bottom surface 17a, particularly from the inner edge side to the outer edge side. It can avoid by the inclination which becomes low toward the bottom, and can prevent the damage by contact with the container main body 1 of the corner | angular part b1 of the plate-like body B by extension.

The transport container of the present invention can be suitably used for transporting and storing relatively large glass substrates such as glass plates for glass, liquid crystal displays and plasma displays, and other various plate-like bodies that are vulnerable to impact. .
