Description

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a cushion body for a chair and a chair provided with the cushion body, and more particularly to a method for manufacturing a cushion body with seat tension and a chair provided with the cushion body.

2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, a chair provided with a cushioning property by stretching a seat such as a mesh on a seat portion or a backrest portion has been provided. Usually, a sheet of mesh or the like is tensioned on an annular support frame provided at a position corresponding to the seat or backrest of the chair frame, and the periphery of the seat is fixed by appropriate fixing means. . Further, the support frame may share the chair frame.

In Patent Document 1, a film-like member such as a mesh, a film, a fabric or a non-woven fabric can be fitted between a front side and a back side of a part of the film-like member, and the film-like member can be fitted during the fitting operation. A film member mounting structure is disclosed that includes a frame assembly member that applies tension to the film member by pushing in relative to each other in the fitting direction and prevents looseness of the film member. Here, the membrane member includes a peripheral edge or a thick engagement portion on the inner side of the peripheral edge, and the frame assembly member sandwiches the inner side of the engagement portion of the film member, and the fitting In this structure, the engaging portion is hooked during operation to push in the film-like member, and the engagement portion is prevented from passing through to prevent loosening of the film-like member. In addition, it is also disclosed that the frame assembly member is attached by applying tension to the membrane member, and the frame assembly member is attached to the frame of the chair to constitute the seat portion.

In Patent Document 2, a net is provided between the opening side of a net receiving material that has a frame shape with a cross-sectional groove shape and the bottom of a frame-shaped net pressing material that has a U-shaped cross section and can be inserted into the net receiving material. A net body manufacturing method for a chair, in which a net is clamped by a net receiving material while pressing the net pressing material and the net is stretched, and the net receiving material and the net pressing material are fastened to be disassembled by a fastener, A chair using the net body as a seat is disclosed.

However, when a sheet member such as a conventional mesh (net), film, fabric or non-woven fabric is stretched on a support frame to form a cushion body, an appropriate tension is applied when the sheet member is mounted on the support frame. However, it is necessary to keep the tension of the sheet member only by the mechanical method of clamping the end of the sheet member with the holding member against the support frame and tightening the holding member. There is a problem in the variation of the size of, and the stability over time.

In the case of a support frame of plywood, it has been conventionally performed that the end portion of the sheet member is wrapped around the back surface of the support frame, and the end portion of the sheet member is pulled to be tacked while applying tension. However, there is a problem that the tension is different or that the tension varies from product to product.

Therefore, in view of the above-described situation, the present invention intends to solve the problem that the work of tensioning the seat member is simple in the method of manufacturing a seat-cushioned cushion body for use in the backrest or seat of the chair, The present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing a cushion body of a chair with little variation in the tension of the seat member and very little secular change, and a chair provided with the cushion body.

In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention provides a cushion body manufacturing method used for a backrest portion or a seat portion of a chair, wherein a sheet member made of a material that shrinks by heat treatment is cut into a predetermined shape, and the seat A sheet member preparation step of attaching an elastic string to the peripheral edge of the member, and the support frame so that the sheet member is placed along the surface side of the annular support frame and the peripheral edge of the sheet member is wrapped around the outer periphery of the support frame A sheet member tensioning step of squeezing the tension string to squeeze the periphery of the sheet member, and heat-treating the sheet member with the sheet member attached to the support frame to thermally contract the sheet member constitute a heat treatment step of applying a tension, a fixing step of fixing the periphery of the sheet member by fixing means to the outer peripheral portion of said support frame, a cushion body manufacturing method of the chair, characterized in that it consists (Claim 1).

Here, it is more preferable that the support frame is formed in a three-dimensional shape by providing an opening at the center of the plywood, and the fixing means is a tacker stop for the plywood.

Further, the sheet member is a heat-shrinkable mesh sheet, and the elastic cord is arranged around the peripheral edge of the mesh sheet so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction. A drawstring structure is formed by the mesh sheet and the elastic cord. (Claim 3).

Here, the peripheral edge of the cut mesh sheet is edge-stitched with a sewing thread by a lock sewing machine, and at the same time, the tension string is wrapped around the cut edge of the mesh sheet so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction in the loop of the sewing thread. More preferably, it is provided (Claim 4).

And the chair provided with the cushion body characterized by attaching the cushion body manufactured with the cushion body manufacturing method of the above-mentioned chair to the backrest part or seat part of the chair is provided (Claim 5).

In this case, the backrest is composed of a chair body having a seat portion and a backrest portion formed of a three-dimensional shape of plywood, and a lower surface of the seat portion of the chair body or a leg portion fixed to the lower surface of the seat portion and the backrest portion. An opening is provided in the central part of the plywood constituting the part, and a plurality of engagement holes are provided around the opening on the front side, and a support frame made of the plywood of the cushion body corresponds to the engagement hole. A through hole is formed at the position, a countersunk portion is provided around the through hole on the front side, and the engagement shaft portion is passed through the engagement shaft portion in a state where the head of the pin-shaped engaging tool is accommodated in the counterbore portion. It is preferable that the cushion body is attached to the front side of the backrest portion of the chair body by projecting backward from the hole, fitting the engagement shaft portion of the engagement tool into the engagement hole. 6).

In the method of manufacturing a cushion body for a chair according to the first aspect of the present invention as described above, the support frame is arranged so that the seat member is placed on the surface side of the support frame and the peripheral portion of the seat member is wrapped around the outer periphery of the support frame. And then squeezing the periphery of the sheet member by tying the tension string, and then heat-treating the sheet member to thermally contract and applying tension, and then supporting the periphery of the sheet member Since it is fixed to the outer periphery of the frame with fixing means, the work of applying a predetermined tension to the sheet member and stretching it to the support frame becomes easy, the variation in the size of the tension is reduced, and the quality becomes uniform. In addition, since the sheet member fixes the peripheral portion after the tension is applied, there is an advantage that the secular change is reduced. In addition, since a plurality of cushion bodies can be heat-treated together, the production efficiency is remarkably improved.

According to claim 2, when the support frame is formed in a three-dimensional shape by providing an opening at the center of the plywood, the elastic deformation amount of the sheet member is sufficiently increased when the sheet member is stretched. It is possible to improve the sitting comfort by matching the shape of the support frame with the shape of the back and the buttocks. Furthermore, if the fixing means is a tacker stop for the plywood, the peripheral edge of the sheet member can be fixed to the support frame easily and firmly after applying tension to the sheet member.

According to claim 3, the sheet member is a heat-shrinkable mesh sheet, and the elastic cord is arranged around the peripheral edge of the mesh sheet so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction. Since it has a drawstring structure with the string, the mesh sheet can be evenly tied to the support frame by pulling the tight string and squeezing the periphery of the mesh sheet.

According to claim 4, the peripheral edge of the cut mesh sheet is edge-stitched with a sewing thread by a lock sewing machine, and at the same time, movable in the longitudinal direction into the loop of the sewing thread along the cut edge of the mesh sheet. Since the elastic string is placed around, the fraying of the cutting edge of the mesh sheet can be prevented, and at the same time, the elastic string for binding to the support frame can be arranged around the cutting edge of the mesh sheet so as to be movable in the longitudinal direction. Can reduce man-hours and contribute to the reduction of manufacturing costs.

According to the fifth aspect, it is possible to provide a chair in which the cushion body manufactured by the above-described chair cushion body manufacturing method is attached to the backrest or the seat.

According to claim 6, on the front side of the backrest portion of the chair main body having a seat portion and a backrest portion formed of a plywood in a three-dimensional shape, a cushion body in which a tension is applied to the support frame by tensioning the seat member, It can be easily attached by simply pushing the engagement shaft portion of the engagement tool into the engagement hole from the front.

The chair body 1 has a structure in which the seat portion 2 and the backrest portion 3 are separately molded into three-dimensional shapes with plywood, and the leg portion 4 is fixed to the lower surface of the seat portion 2 and the backrest portion 3. It does not matter.

The chair body 1 is formed by heating and pressing a plywood into a three-dimensional shape, and has a basic structure in which a backrest portion 3 is raised at the rear portion of the seat portion 2, and the seat portion 2 and the backrest portion 3 are respectively seated. Curved according to the shape of the person's buttocks and back. An opening 6 is provided at the center of the backrest 3 of the chair body 1.

In the present embodiment, the leg portion 4 is constituted by a pipe frame, and is fixed to the lower surface of the seat portion 2 of the chair body 1 by appropriate fixing means such as screws. Here, the shape of the leg 4 is set so that the chair according to the present invention can be stacked up and down.

The cushion body 5 includes an annular support frame 7, a sheet member 8 made of a material that contracts by heat treatment, and a tension string 9 provided along the peripheral edge of the sheet member 8. The sheet member 8 is arranged so as to wrap around the outer peripheral portion from the front side of the support frame 7, the strap 9 is tied and attached, and then subjected to heat treatment to apply tension to the sheet member 8, and then the sheet member 8. Is fixed to the outer peripheral portion of the support frame 7. The position at which the peripheral edge of the sheet member 8 is fixed to the outer peripheral portion of the support frame 7 can be set at appropriate positions on the back surface side, outer peripheral end surface, and front surface side of the support frame 7. If it considers, it is most preferable to fix to the back surface side of the support frame 7. FIG.

In the present embodiment, the support frame 7 is formed in a three-dimensional shape by providing an opening 10 at the center of the plywood. Here, the curved shape of the support frame 7 is substantially matched with the curved shape of the front surface of the backrest portion 3 of the chair body 1. In addition, the opening 10 of the support frame 7 is substantially matched in size and shape with the opening 6 of the backrest 3 of the chair body 1. The opening 6 and the opening 10 are provided to release air for elastic deformation of the sheet member 8 and to provide air permeability.

The sheet member 8 is made of a material that contracts by heat treatment, and is used by cutting a sheet such as a mesh (net), a film, a fabric, or a nonwoven fabric into a predetermined shape. Further, the sheet member 8 must have a tensile strength that can be maintained by applying a predetermined tension. The said sheet | seat member 8 used by this embodiment is a mesh sheet of the product number FITS FI-801 (silver color) or FITS FI-802 (black) of IDC Corporation. Further, the tension string 9 that binds the peripheral edge of the sheet member 8 is 100% polyester.

Next, a method for manufacturing the cushion body 5 will be described.

(Sheet material preparation process)
The sheet member (mesh sheet) 8 is cut into a predetermined shape, and an elastic string 9 is attached to the periphery of the sheet member 8 (see FIG. 3). The cutting edge of the mesh sheet 8 is sewed with a lock sewing machine to prevent fraying, and at the same time, a tension string 9 is provided along the cutting edge of the mesh sheet 8, and the mesh sheet 8 and the tension string 9 have a drawstring structure. And Here, the tension string 9 is movable in the longitudinal direction within the loop of the sewing thread for sewing the edge of the lock sewing machine, that is, positioned so as to be capable of being tensioned. The sewing thread for edge stitching is made of a material having high heat resistance, such as polyamide.

Further, as a process of cutting the mesh sheet 8, when the mesh sheet 8 is thin or soft and can be folded back, a bag is sewn with a normal sewing machine, and a drawstring structure is formed by passing an elastic string 9 inside the bag. Is possible. However, since the mesh sheet 8 is thick and has a waist, the end of the mesh sheet 8 becomes thick when the bag is sewn, and the sewing work is troublesome.

(Sheet material tensioning process)
As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the sheet member 8 is placed along the surface side of the annular support frame 7 in which the plywood is formed into a three-dimensional shape, and the peripheral portion of the sheet member 8 is the outer periphery of the support frame 7. It winds around the back surface side of this support frame 7 so that it may wrap, and the said string 9 is tied and the peripheral part of the sheet | seat member 8 is squeezed. This operation is performed by a semi-automatic clothing machine (C-GEX). Here, if the strength for binding the tension string 9 is constant, the sheet member 8 can uniformly apply the preliminary tension. By tightly tying the knot of the tension string 9 and constraining the length of the entire circumference, the size of the tension applied by the subsequent heat treatment becomes substantially constant, and variations among products are reduced.

(Heat treatment process)
With the sheet member 8 mounted on the support frame 7, as shown in FIG. 5, the sheet member 8 is put into a hot stove 11 and heat-treated at 190 ° C. for 30 seconds to thermally contract the sheet member 8 and apply tension. The shrinkage rate of the mesh sheet 8 used in the present embodiment is different between the case where the periphery is fixed and the heat shrink is performed and the case where the mesh sheet 8 is contracted without being fixed, but the edge of the mesh sheet 8 is bound by the polyester string 9 The shrinkage rate is about 2% in the vertical direction and about 3% in the horizontal direction.

(Fixing process)
The cushion body 5 is taken out from the hot stove 11, and after cooling, the peripheral edge portion of the sheet member 8 is fixed to the back surface side of the support frame 7 with a tacker. Reference numeral 12 in the figure indicates a tucker needle. In this state, the sheet member 8 to which a predetermined tension is applied is securely fixed at the peripheral edge portion to the support frame 7 so that the tension is stably maintained.

Next, the structure which attaches the said cushion body 5 to the front side of the backrest part 3 of the chair main body 1 is demonstrated based on FIG.3, FIG.7 and FIG.8. First, a plurality of engagement holes 13,... Are provided around the opening 6 provided in the central portion on the front side of the plywood constituting the backrest portion 3. This engagement hole 13 is provided by press-fitting a synthetic resin receiver 15 into a hole 14 formed in the backrest 3. Further, through holes 16 are formed at positions corresponding to the engagement holes 13 in the support frame 7 made of a plywood of the cushion body 5, and a spot facing portion 17 is formed around the through hole 16 on the front side. In the state where the head portion 19 of the pin-shaped engaging member 18 is accommodated in the spot facing portion 17, the engaging shaft portion 20 protrudes rearward from the through hole 16 to prepare. Then, the cushion body 5 is positioned on the front surface of the backrest portion 3, and the head 19 of the engagement tool 18 is pushed with a finger through the seat member 8, and the engagement shaft portion 20 is engaged. Fit into the hole 13. The engaging hole 13 of the receiving tool 15 and the engaging shaft part 20 of the engaging tool 18 are structured so as not to be easily removed once they are fitted.

In the state where the cushion body 5 is attached along the front side of the backrest portion 3 of the chair body 1, the peripheral portion of the seat member 8 is sandwiched between the backrest portion 3 made of plywood and the support frame 7. As a result, the peripheral edge of the seat member 8 acts as a packing and can support the cushion body 5 without rattling. Further, the seat member 8 is supported even if the backrest 3 and the support frame 7 are deformed when seated. The state is stable.

Of course, in addition to the connecting structure of the receiving device 15 and the engaging device 18, the cushion body 5 can be attached by screwing. For example, an onion nut is embedded in the back side of the support frame 7 of the cushion body 5, a through hole is formed at the position of the backrest 3 corresponding thereto, a screw is passed through the through hole from the back side, and it is screwed into the oni nut. Match. In this case, although the screw head is exposed on the back surface of the backrest 3, the mounting structure of this embodiment does not expose the structure on the surface, so that the appearance is simple.

In this embodiment, although the example which provided the said cushion body 5 in the backrest part 3 of the chair main body 1 was shown, it is also possible to provide the said cushion body 5 in the upper surface of the seat part 2 similarly. In this case as well, it is desirable to provide an opening at the center of the seat 2 of the chair body 1.

The chair according to this embodiment has the following advantages. (1) Since the support frame 7 on which the mesh sheet 8 is stretched is a molded plywood having a three-dimensional curved surface, the plywood also bends together with the mesh sheet 8 when a person sits down to reduce the back contact. (2) Since the support frame 7 on which the mesh sheet 8 is stretched is a molded plywood, parts such as resin parts and metal frames and new investment do not occur. (3) Since a metal frame that is often used as the support frame 7 on which the mesh sheet 8 is stretched is not used, a hard metal does not hit the portion that contacts the human body. (4) The mesh sheet 8 is stretched by a method other than human power, and the tension can be produced with a stable magnitude. (5) Since the cushion body 5 is smaller than the chair body 1, a plurality of cushions 5 can be heat-treated at the same time, and the work efficiency of other processes is also good.

According to the present invention, a chair in which a mesh sheet 8 is stretched on a chair body 1 having a three-dimensional curved surface having a wooden seat portion 2 and a backrest portion 3 can be mass-produced. A common base material for applying tension to the mesh sheet 8 is a metal frame or a resin frame, but in order to use these frames for the chair body 1 of a molded plywood having a cubic curved surface, another frame having a three-dimensional curved surface is used. Parts and mold investment are necessary. In addition, when a metal frame is used, there is a problem that a portion in contact with the human body becomes a hard metal. Furthermore, the fact that chairs with mesh sheets 8 made of molded plywood are hardly seen in the market is due to the fact that mass production with reduced manufacturing costs has not been established.

An example of a conventional method of applying a mesh sheet to a wooden product is a method of fixing one side of a mesh to a chair body with a tucker needle, pulling the other mesh end by hand, and fixing with a tucker needle. In this case, when tensioning the mesh sheet, it is necessary to apply force, and the mesh sheet is tucked while manually pulling, so it is necessary to be familiar and skillful, and it will be affected by human intervention. It is not easy to keep it constant or to apply a constant tension to the mesh sheet evenly. On the other hand, in the present invention, there is no room for human force in the step of applying tension to the mesh sheet, and it is easy to apply tension uniformly and evenly. The manufacturing method of the present invention is a work that does not involve skill and skill, and is superior in mass productivity to a construction method in which a mesh is manually applied to each chair body.

Moreover, since the base material (support frame 7) on which the mesh sheet 8 is stretched is smaller than the chair body 1, the efficiency of work in each process is good. That is, when attaching a mesh sheet directly to the seat part 2 and the backrest part 3 of the chair main body 1 and putting the chair main body into the hot stove as before, and applying tension, the weight of the single body is large. Only one piece could be heat-treated, but in the case of the present invention, the only part to be tensioned is the cushion body 5, so that a plurality of pieces can be heat-treated simultaneously.
