Claims (7)
- 大気中又は真空中に射出されて飛翔する飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御方法であって、
前記飛翔物体は液滴であり、
該液滴の飛翔経路の近傍に配設された制御電極に電圧を印加することによって前記飛翔経路の周辺空間に不均一な電界を生じせしめ、
該電界によって前記液滴に働く誘電力であって、その及ぶ範囲の直径は、隣接する液滴同士の間隔より小さい誘電力により、前記液滴の飛翔方向を非接触で制御することを特徴とする飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御方法。 - 前記液滴が大気中又は真空中を飛翔中に前記液滴の飛翔方向を制御する請求項1に記載の飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御方法。
- 前記液滴は、ノズルから噴出された連続する液柱の分裂によって形成される請求項1又は2に記載の飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御方法。
- 前記液滴は帯電していない請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御方法。
- 所望の液滴が前記制御電極の近傍を通過するタイミングで前記制御電極に電圧を印加することによって、連続して飛翔する複数の液滴の飛翔方向を選択的に制御する請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御方法。
- 前記液滴は直径が0.5〔mm〕以下である請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御方法。
- 大気中又は真空中に射出されて飛翔する飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御装置であって、
前記飛翔物体は液滴であり、
該液滴の飛翔経路の近傍に配設された制御電極と、
該制御電極に電圧を印加する電圧印加装置とを有し、
前記制御電極は、先端が尖った棒状又は針状の形状を備え、前記先端は、直径が隣接する液滴同士の間隔より小さく、前記飛翔経路の近傍に位置するように配設され、
前記電圧印加装置が前記制御電極に電圧を印加することによって前記飛翔経路の周辺空間に不均一な電界を生じせしめ、
該電界によって前記液滴に働く誘電力により、前記液滴の飛翔方向を非接触で制御することを特徴とする飛翔物体の飛翔方向の制御装置。
