Description
Claims (7)
- 脊椎の外部圧迫の影響を治療するための埋め込み型障壁装置であって、
a)形状記憶特性を有する材料から形成された枠部材であって、拘束されていないときは、長さ寸法より小さい幅寸法を有する全体的に矩形の中心セクションと、前記幅寸法より大きい寸法の直径を有する平坦な円形端部とを備え、中央の長手方向軸の周りで全体的に線対称であり、前記中央の長手方向軸に中心がある凸状輪郭を有する、枠部材と、
b)前記枠部材が拘束されていないとき、前記枠部材によって張り詰めて保持されるように前記枠部材に嵌められた非多孔質のエラストマー薄板と
を備え、
c)前記障壁装置は、前記圧迫と脊髄の間に置かれる硬膜内の腔において自己拡張する、
埋め込み型障壁装置。 - 前記枠が、ニチノール・ワイヤを備える、請求項1に記載の埋め込み型障壁装置。
- 前記エラストマー薄板が、ポリウレタン又はポリエチレンの一方である、請求項1に記載の埋め込み型障壁装置。
- 前記枠が、複数の前記エラストマー薄板の間に封入される、請求項1に記載の埋め込み型障壁装置。
- 前記枠が、圧縮状態と完全な拡張状態とを有する、請求項4に記載の埋め込み型障壁装置。
- 前記枠の前記矩形の中心セクションのみが、前記エラストマー薄板によって覆われる、請求項1に記載の埋め込み型障壁装置。
- 前記枠が、X線不透過性材料を含む、請求項1に記載の埋め込み型障壁装置。
