Description
The present invention relates to a photographing optical system for photographing a subject and a photographing device having the photographing optical system.
近年、デジタルスチルカメラ、デジタルビデオカメラ、撮像モジュールを搭載したデジタル機器、例えば携帯電話端末、PDA(Personal Digital Assistants)、PND(Portable Navigation Device)、PHS(Personal Handy phone System)、携帯ゲーム機、ノートPC等が広く普及している。 In recent years, digital still cameras, digital video cameras, digital devices equipped with an imaging module, such as mobile phone terminals, PDAs (Personal Digital Assistants), PNDs (Portable Navigation Devices), PHSs (Personal Handy phone Systems), portable game machines, notebooks PCs are widely used. In this type of camera or digital device, in order to reduce the thickness of the main body, the direction perpendicular to the thickness direction of the main body housing (hereinafter referred to as “housing thickness direction” for convenience of description) For the sake of convenience, it is referred to as “casing surface direction.”) Is equipped with a photographing optical system (so-called bending optical system) having a long optical path.
By the way, when the optical path is directed to the housing surface direction, the sensor surface needs to be arranged in parallel to the housing thickness direction in order to cause the subject image to enter the sensor surface of the imaging chip. However, since the outer dimensions in the sensor surface direction of the imaging chip are large, it is difficult to design the main body housing thin when the sensor surface is arranged in parallel with the housing thickness direction.
Therefore, for example, in Patent Documents 1 to 3, in order to suppress the dimension in the thickness direction of the casing by arranging the sensor surface of the imaging chip in parallel with the casing surface direction, a prism is arranged immediately before the imaging chip to change the optical path to the thickness of the casing. An imaging optical system bent in a direction is disclosed.
In the photographing optical systems described in Patent Documents 1 to 3, unnecessary light that does not contribute to regular image formation is generated and appears in the image as ghosts and flares because the prism is disposed immediately before the imaging chip. Ghosts and flares have the problem of degrading image quality by causing unintentional image formation and lowering of contrast. However, none of Patent Documents 1 to 3 raises the problem of ghost and flare caused by the prism disposed immediately before the imaging chip, and does not disclose or suggest any means for solving the problem. .
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object of the present invention is to provide an imaging optical system that is advantageous for thinning an imaging apparatus while suppressing generation of unnecessary light by a prism immediately before an imaging chip, and An object of the present invention is to provide a photographing apparatus having a photographing optical system.
h=L×cos{α+sin−1(n/n’)}・・・(1)
A photographic optical system according to an aspect of the present invention that solves the above problems includes an imaging lens group having at least one lens, an image-side prism, and a first light shielding member. The image-side prism includes an incident surface on which light transmitted through the imaging lens group is incident, a reflective surface that reflects light incident from the incident surface, and an imaging element in which the light reflected on the reflective surface is installed at a predetermined position Having an exit surface that injects toward the surface. The first light shielding member shields at least a part of the area on the incident surface from the ridge line of the apex angle formed by the incident surface and the exit surface to the height h. The height h defines the length of the exit surface in a cross section orthogonal to both the entrance surface and the exit surface as L, and defines the angle formed by the exit surface and the reflective surface in the cross section as α, When the refractive index around the image side prism is defined as n and the refractive index of the image side prism is defined as n ′, the following condition (1)
h = L × cos {α + sin −1 (n / n ′)} (1)
Meet.
According to the present invention, unnecessary light that does not contribute to normal image formation, in particular, light outside the angle of view that is incident on the image sensor by totally reflecting the exit surface and the reflecting surface of the image side prism in order is shielded. And flare are reduced, and deterioration of image quality is suppressed. That is, according to the photographing optical system of the present invention, the generation of ghosts and flares can be effectively suppressed while being a so-called bending optical system that is advantageous for thinning design of the photographing apparatus.
The first light shielding member is disposed, for example, between the most image side lens and the image side prism of the imaging lens group. The first light shielding member may be attached on the incident surface of the image side prism.
An imaging optical system according to the present invention shields an image sensor cover glass that transmits light emitted from an exit surface and light incident on the image sensor cover glass from an imaging lens group without passing through an image side prism. It is good also as a structure with the 2nd light-shielding member.
The second light-shielding member forms an image with, for example, at least one of a space between the image-side prism and the image-capturing device cover glass or a side surface of the image-capturing device cover glass facing the most image-side lens of the image-forming lens group. The lens unit is disposed between the lens on the most image side of the lens group. The second light shielding member may be attached to the side surface of the image sensor cover glass.
The first light shielding member and the second light shielding member may be integrally formed.
The photographic optical system according to the present invention may be provided with an antireflection coating or an antireflection structure on the reflection surface of the image side prism in order to further suppress ghosts and flares.
For example, the image side prism may be a right-angle prism that bends the optical path by approximately 90 ° in order to suppress the dimension in the thickness direction of the casing by arranging the sensor surface of the image sensor parallel to the casing plane direction while taking a long optical path in the casing plane direction. Good.
The photographic optical system according to the present invention may have a configuration including an object-side prism arranged with at least one lens constituting the imaging lens group sandwiched between the image-side prism. The object-side prism may be a right-angle prism that bends the optical path by approximately 90 ° in order to bend light in the casing thickness direction from the subject in the casing surface direction.
An imaging apparatus according to an aspect of the present invention that solves the above problems includes the above-described imaging optical system and an imaging element having a sensor surface disposed on an imaging surface of an imaging lens group. .
According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a photographing optical system that is advantageous for designing a thin photographing apparatus while suppressing generation of unnecessary light by a prism immediately before the imaging chip, and a photographing apparatus having the photographing optical system.
Hereinafter, an imaging apparatus having an imaging optical system according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is a diagram illustrating a configuration of an imaging apparatus 1 according to the present embodiment. In FIG. 1, for the sake of clarity, the optical configuration that is the main part of the present invention is illustrated, while the mechanical and circuit configurations that are not the main part are not illustrated. In the present embodiment, the photographing apparatus 1 is assumed to be a mobile phone terminal, but other forms such as a digital still camera, a digital video camera, a PDA equipped with an imaging module, a PND, a PHS, a portable game machine, and a notebook PC. It may be replaced with a device. Alternatively, the imaging module itself mounted on this type of apparatus may be the imaging apparatus 1.
As shown in FIG. 1A, the photographing apparatus 1 has a
The configuration of the broken line portion shown in FIG. 1A is shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 1B, the photographing apparatus 1 has a photographing
Light in the Z-axis direction (case thickness direction) from the subject enters the
撮像チップ20は、例えばベイヤ型画素配置を有する単板式カラーCMOS(Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)イメージセンサチップである。
The
By the way, the optical path between the
2 includes an
In the photographing
h=L×cos{α+sin−1(n/n’)}・・・(1)
The first light-shielding

FIG. 3 is a diagram for explaining the derivation of the conditional expression (1). In explaining the derivation of the conditional expression (1), consider a light ray that is incident on the
In order to further suppress ghost and flare, a known antireflection coating or antireflection structure may be provided on the reflecting

Is guided. In Figure 3, if the angle of incidence on the reflecting
θ 3 = π / 2−α−θ 2 (4)
Is guided. Substituting equation (3) into equation (4),
θ 3 = π / 2−α−sin −1 {(n / n ′) sin θ 1 )}
From this, the following equation (5) is derived.
sin θ 1 = (n ′ / n) cos (α + θ 3 ) (5)
In FIG. 3, when the distance between the incident position of the light beam on the

h = L ′ (n / n ′) sin θ 1
And substituting equation (5) for this,
h = L ′ × cos (α + θ 3 )
It is. When the incident angle θ 3 is a critical angle,
h = L ′ × cos {α + sin −1 (n / n ′)}
L ′ = h / cos {α + sin −1 (n / n ′)}

4-6 is a figure which shows the relationship between the light outside an angle of view, and the 1st light-shielding
According to the example of FIG. 4, the first
According to the example of FIG. 5, the first light-shielding
According to the example of FIG. 6, the first

(Comparison verification)
As shown in FIGS. 11 to 13, the photographing
