Description

The present invention relates to a banknote processing apparatus that performs a process of separating a large number of banknotes one by one and taking them into an apparatus main body.

Conventionally, as a banknote processing device that performs processing of separating a large amount of banknotes received in a receiving unit one by one and taking them into the apparatus body, when there are no banknotes in the receiving unit, from a banknote detection sensor that detects the presence or absence of banknotes The output of the detection signal is stopped, whereby the control means drives the opening / closing driving means for driving the pressing member that presses the banknote in both the opening and closing directions, moves the pressing member in the opening direction, and places the banknote processing in the standby position. There is a device (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

1)Japanese Patent No. 2901482 (paragraphs 0032-0034, FIG. 1)

According to the conventional banknote handling apparatus, in the state where there is no banknote, the pressing member is positioned at the standby position in the opening direction, and the receiving unit is in a state where the banknote can be loaded as it is. Even when a bill is loaded in the state, it is not necessary to place the bill once in another place in order to open the pressing member. In addition, when the banknote is extracted and the output of the detection signal from the banknote detection sensor is stopped while the pressing member is moved in the closing direction by the opening / closing driving means, the pressing member is stopped, and a predetermined time has elapsed in this state. Then, the pressing member is automatically moved to the standby position in the opening direction.

However, the automatic movement of the pressing member to the standby position is limited to a state in which a detection signal from the banknote detection sensor is not output, that is, a state in which there is no banknote in the receiving unit, and addition of banknotes with a banknote in the receiving unit. Even when the pressing member is manually moved in the opening direction, the operation of taking the already loaded banknote into the apparatus main body is continued. For this reason, there is a possibility that a psychological pressure given to the operator at the time of additional loading of banknotes or a poor loading due to a defective setting of banknotes for additional loading based thereon.

The present invention has been made in view of the above problems, and even when a banknote to be processed is additionally loaded during an operation of taking a banknote into the apparatus main body, the operator can additionally load the banknote with peace of mind. An object of the present invention is to provide a banknote handling apparatus that can prevent a defective set.

In order to achieve the above object, the invention according to claim 1 includes an opening / closing support means for supporting the banknote pressing section so as to be opened and closed, and a banknote holding section for holding banknotes with the banknote pressing section moved in the closing direction, A banknote separating and feeding section that is disposed in the vicinity of the banknote holding section and separates banknotes one by one from the banknote on the banknote holding section side and feeds them into the apparatus main body, the banknote holding section and the banknote pressing section; A banknote processing apparatus that performs a take-in operation of separating the banknotes held between the banknote holding and feeding sections one by one from the banknote holding section side, including feeding by the banknote separating and feeding section, A banknote detecting means for detecting a banknote held between the banknote holding section and the banknote pressing section, and an opening / closing position detecting means for detecting a movement position in the opening / closing direction of the banknote pressing section. The means includes the bill holder and the When the opening / closing position detecting means detects that the bill pressing portion has moved in the opening direction during the taking operation in the state of detecting the bill held between the bill pressing portion, the taking operation is performed. It is characterized by comprising control means for interrupting.

The banknote separating and feeding part constitutes a part of the banknote holding part, a feeding roller that can be brought into contact with the banknote on the side of the banknote holding part, a separating roller that is arranged to face the feeding roller, and The control means has a kick roller provided so as to be able to come into contact with the banknote on the side of the banknote holding part by protruding from the banknote holding surface of the banknote holding part to the side of the banknote pressing part. When the taking-in operation is interrupted, the rotation is stopped so that at least the kick roller does not protrude from the bill holding surface.

The invention according to claim 2 is characterized in that, in the invention according to claim 1 , the control means further stops the rotation of the feeding roller when interrupting the take-in operation.

The invention according to claim 3 is the invention according to claim 1 or 2 , wherein the opening / closing position detecting means is an angle detecting means for detecting an opening / closing angle of the banknote pressing section with respect to the banknote holding section. .

According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the invention according to any one of the first to third aspects, after the control means interrupts the take-in operation, the open / close position detection means moves in the closing direction of the bill pressing portion. When the banknote pressing unit is in a state where it can be regarded that the banknote is held again with the banknote holding unit, the taking-in operation is resumed.

According to the invention which concerns on Claim 1, in the state which the banknote detection means has detected the banknote hold | maintained between the banknote holding | maintenance part and the banknote press part, the delivery by the banknote isolation | separation delivery part is included. When the opening / closing position detecting means detects that the banknote pressing portion has moved in the opening direction while performing the taking operation for taking the sheets one by one into the apparatus main body, the control means interrupts the taking operation. Therefore, for example, when a bill is additionally loaded during the taking-in operation, the taking-in operation is automatically stopped when the bill pressing portion moves in the opening direction. Therefore, when the banknote to be processed is additionally loaded during the operation of taking the banknote into the apparatus main body, the operator can perform additional loading with peace of mind, and the setting failure of the additional banknote can be prevented in advance.

Further , when interrupting the taking-in operation, the control means stops the rotation so that the kick roller does not protrude from the banknote holding surface, so that the accumulation state is disturbed at the time of additional loading after the taking-in operation is interrupted. It is possible to add banknotes. That is, if the kick roller is stopped in a state where the kick roller protrudes toward the banknote pressing part with respect to the banknote holding surface of the banknote holding part, the end of the banknote on the banknote holding surface of the banknote holding part becomes the banknote pressing part. Depending on the open position of the banknote pressing part, when loading additional banknotes, there is a possibility that the accumulated state of banknotes that have already been loaded may be disturbed, but by setting the kick roller so as not to protrude The loaded banknote is in a stable state, and additional loading in this state is possible.

According to the second aspect of the invention, since the rotation of the feeding roller is stopped in addition to the kicking roller, additional loading in a more stable state is possible. Therefore, the operator can perform additional loading with more peace of mind, and it is possible to reliably prevent the additional banknote from being set in advance.

According to the invention of claim 3 , since the opening / closing position detecting means is an angle detecting means for detecting an opening / closing angle of the banknote pressing section with respect to the banknote holding section, movement of the banknote pressing section in the opening / closing direction with respect to the banknote holding section is performed. It is possible to cope with the case where the movement is not a linear movement but a turning movement with respect to the bill holder.

According to the invention of claim 4 , the control means detects the movement of the banknote pressing part in the closing direction after the taking-in operation is interrupted, and the banknote pressing part is between the banknote holding part. When the banknote can be regarded as being held again, the take-in operation is resumed. Therefore, after the take-in operation is interrupted, additional banknotes are loaded, the banknote pressing unit is moved in the closing direction, and the banknote is held again with the banknote holding unit. If held, it will automatically recover from the interruption state of the take-in operation, and work efficiency can be improved.

A banknote handling apparatus according to a first embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2.

FIG. 1 shows the periphery of a receiving unit 1 of a banknote handling apparatus. The receiving unit 1 includes a step 3 provided on the upper surface of an apparatus main body 2 (only a part of which is shown in the drawing), It has a banknote pressing plate (banknote pressing portion) 4 disposed opposite to the step portion 3 and a horizontally extending bottom plate 5. The banknote pressing plate 4 holds the banknote S loaded from outside the apparatus between the stepped portion 3 and the pressing surface 8 on the stepped portion 3 side is inclined. A holding surface (banknote holding surface) 9 of the step portion 3 facing the pressing surface 8 is also inclined so as to be parallel to the pressing surface 8.

On the banknote holding surface 9 of the stepped portion 3, there is a kicking roller 11 that contacts the banknote holding surface 9 side of the banknote S loaded between the banknote pressing plate 4 and separates it to kick it downward. A part of the peripheral surface is provided so as to protrude from the banknote holding surface 9 toward the banknote pressing plate 4, and below the kicking roller 11, a feeding roller that rotates in conjunction with the kicking roller 11. 12 and a separation roller 13 disposed opposite thereto. Here, although not shown in the drawing, the kick roller 11 is composed of a plurality of members whose outer peripheral surfaces have different friction coefficients in the circumferential direction, and has an action of imparting vibration to the banknote S. About the kicking roller 11, this can also be made into the type which comprises the same member and rotates eccentrically.

An arm 15 is supported on the rotating shaft 12 a of the feeding roller 12 so as to be swingable on the base end side, and the rotating shaft 11 a of the kicking roller 11 is supported on the distal end side of the arm 15. Therefore, the kick roller 11 can be projected and retracted from the bill holding surface 9 to the bill pressing plate 4 side by swinging the arm 15.

One end of a press spring 16 such as a compression coil spring that urges the kick roller 11 in a direction in which the kick roller 11 protrudes from the bill holding surface 9 is connected to the arm 15. The other end of the pressing spring 16 is supported by a spring base 17, and the spring base 17 is supported by a frame (not shown) so as to be horizontally movable in a direction connecting the step portion 3 and the bill pressing plate 4. . The spring base 17 is connected to a forcible retracting portion 18 such as a solenoid for retracting the kick roller 11 so as not to protrude from the bill holding surface 9 via the pressing spring 16 and the spring base 17. The kick roller 11 constitutes a banknote holding unit 19 that holds the banknote S between the banknote holding surface 9 and the banknote pressing plate 4.

The feeding roller 12 and the separating roller 13 described above are separated one by one when the feeding roller 12 rotates and the separating roller 13 stops while the banknote S kicked by the kicking roller 11 is sandwiched from both sides. Are taken into the apparatus main body 2. The separation roller 13 is non-rotatable or rotatable only in the direction opposite to the take-in direction. The banknote take-in positions of the feeding roller 12 and the separation roller 13 are set as a feeding port 22 of the apparatus main body 2.

Here, reference numeral 23 in the drawing denotes a feeding drive unit including a motor and the like that rotationally drives and brakes the feeding roller 12 and the kicking roller 11 that always rotates in synchronization with the feeding roller 12. The kicking roller 11, the feeding roller 12, the separation roller 13, the arm 15, the pressing spring 16, the spring base 17, and the feeding drive unit 23 are arranged in the vicinity of the banknote holding unit 19, and the banknote S to the banknote S are on the banknote holding unit 19 side. A guide shaft 26 supported by a frame (not shown) so as to extend horizontally in the same direction as the bottom plate 5 is provided on the side of the bottom plate 5 (the front side in FIG. 1). The guide block 27 is provided so as to be horizontally slidable along the guide shaft 26. At the lower part of the guide block 27, a detection part 28 and a protrusion part 29 are formed so as to protrude downward. Moreover, the banknote press board 4 is being fixed to the side surface (FIG. 1 back side surface of FIG. 1) at the guide block 27. FIG. An upper end of the guide block 27 is engaged with one end thereof, and the other end (not shown) is engaged with the step portion 3 side. The guide block 27 includes a tension coil spring or the like that biases the guide block 27 toward the step portion 3 side. A force spring 30 is provided. The biasing spring 30 biases the banknote S loaded between the banknote pressing plate 4 and the banknote holder 19 with a predetermined biasing force via the banknote pressing plate 4. The biasing spring 30 and the pressing spring 16 are contact pressures suitable for kicking when the kick roller 11 protrudes from the banknote holding surface 9 while holding the banknote S between the banknote pressing plate 4 and the banknote holding part 19. Each urging force is set so as to contact the bill S. Further, a traveling roller 31 for smoothly traveling on the bottom plate 5 is rotatably provided below the bill pressing plate 4.

The guide shaft 26, the guide block 27, the biasing spring 30, and the traveling roller 31 described above can separate and approach the banknote pressing plate 4 with respect to the banknote holding section 19 including the step section 3 and the kicking roller 11. An open / close support mechanism (open / close support means) 32 to be supported is configured. The banknote pressing plate 4 moves in the closing direction and holds the banknote S with the banknote holding unit 19.

Pulleys 35 and 36 are provided below the end portion of the guide shaft 26 on the step portion 3 side, and the pulley 37 is also provided below the end portion on the opposite side of the step portion 3 of the guide shaft 26. An endless belt 38 is hung on the pulleys 35 to 37 along the guide shaft 26, and a regulating member 40 is fixed to an upper side portion 38 a extending horizontally of the endless belt 38 so as to protrude upward. In addition, the detection plate 41 is fixed so as to protrude upward in parallel with the restriction member 40.

The regulating member 40 is moved toward and away from the step portion 3 along the guide shaft 26 by rotating the pulley 37 by the opening / closing drive portion 45 including a stepping motor and the like to drive the endless belt 38 in the forward and reverse directions. Moving. Specifically, the restricting member 40 moves in a direction away from the step portion 3 by the clockwise rotation of the endless belt 38 in FIG. 1, thereby abutting against the protruding portion 29 of the guide block 27 and the biasing spring 30. The guide block 27 and the banknote pressing plate 4 are moved in the opening direction away from the step portion 3 against the urging force. On the contrary, the guide block remains in contact with the protrusion 29 until the bill pressing plate 4 contacts the bill S by moving the endless belt 38 counterclockwise in FIG. 27 and the banknote pressing plate 4 are moved in the closing direction close to the step portion 3 by the biasing force of the biasing spring 30.

In addition, in the vicinity of the end of the guide shaft 26 on the side of the stepped portion 3, a closed limit position detection sensor 46 that is supported by a frame (not shown) and detects the proximity of the detection plate 41 and outputs a detection signal is provided. Further, in the vicinity of the end portion of the guide shaft 26 opposite to the stepped portion 3, an open limit position detection that is supported by a frame (not shown) and detects the proximity of the detection plate 41 and outputs a detection signal. A sensor 47 is provided. The closed limit position detection sensor 46 detects the detection plate 41 to detect that the regulating member 40 is at the limit position in the closing direction, and the open limit position detection sensor 47 detects the detection plate 41. It detects that the restricting member 40 is in the limit position in the opening direction, and the control unit (control means) 48 shown in FIG. 2 stops the movement of the restricting member 40 at these detecting positions, whereby the bill pressing plate The moving range of 4 is limited. Further, in a state in which the bill S is not loaded, the bill pressing plate 4 waits in a state where the detection plate 41 is in a position detected by the open limit position detection sensor 47 (this position is the opening direction of the bill pressing plate 4). Or a standby position in a state where the detection plate 41 is in a position detected by the closing limit position detection sensor 46 (this position becomes a standby position in the closing direction of the banknote pressing plate 4). Can be set.

The pulleys 35 to 37, the endless belt 38, the regulating member 40, the detection plate 41, the opening / closing drive unit 45, the closing limit position detection sensor 46 and the opening limit position detection sensor 47 bring the bill pressing plate 4 to the standby position in the opening direction. An opening direction standby position returning mechanism 49 for returning is configured.

Here, the light receiving unit 1 includes either the light emitting / receiving element 50a and the other light emitting / receiving element 50b, and the light path 50c of light emitted from the light emitting side and received on the light receiving side is blocked. The banknote detection sensor (banknote detection means) 50 which detects the banknote S hold | maintained between the banknote holding | maintenance part 19 and the banknote press board 4 by this has the element 50a on the opposite side with respect to the banknote press board 4 of the step part 3. The elements 50b are arranged on the outer side of the end portion on the opposite side to the step portion 3 of the guide shaft 26 so as to be horizontal to each other. Here, the optical path 50c of the elements 50a and 50b is in a position where it is surely blocked by the banknote S held between the banknote pressing plate 4 and the banknote holding part 19 and is along the moving direction of the banknote pressing plate 4. 50a and 50b are arranged. In addition, a hole (not shown) is formed in the bill pressing plate 4 and the step portion 3 located on the optical path 50c so as not to block the optical path 50c.

In addition, in the vicinity of the guide shaft 26, a plurality of opening / closing position detection sensors (opening / closing position detecting means) 51 capable of detecting the detection unit 28 of the guide block 27 are arranged in the opening / closing direction (sliding direction) of the bill pressing plate 4. It is supported by a frame not shown in the state. These opening / closing position detection sensors 51 detect the movement position in the opening / closing direction of the guide block 27, that is, the banknote pressing plate 4 fixed thereto.

It should be noted that the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 on the banknote holding unit 19 side is first in a series of detections performed within a predetermined time from the detection timing of each of the opening / closing position detection sensors 51, that is, the banknote pressing plate 4. If the open / close position detection sensor 51 on the side opposite to the banknote holding unit 19 detects the detection unit 28 later, it is detected that the banknote pressing plate 4 is moving in the opening direction away from the banknote holding unit 19. On the contrary, in a series of detections performed within a predetermined time, the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 on the side opposite to the banknote holding unit 19 is detected first, and the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 on the banknote holding unit 19 side detects the detection unit 28 later. Then, it is detected that the banknote pressing plate 4 is moving in the closing direction close to the banknote holder 19. Furthermore, when each of the movement in the opening direction and the movement in the closing direction is detected, the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 next to the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 that has finally detected the detection section 28 does not detect the detection section 28 within a predetermined time. It is detected that the bill pressing plate 4 has stopped. Since the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 only needs to detect the movement in the opening direction, the movement in the closing direction, and the stop of the bill pressing plate 4, detailed position detection is not necessary, for example, at intervals of 1 cm in the length direction of the guide shaft 26. Just place it.

As shown in FIG. 2, the forcible retraction unit 18, the feeding drive unit 23, the opening / closing drive unit 45, the closing limit position detection sensor 46, the opening limit position detection sensor 47, the bill detection sensor 50, and the plurality of opening / closing position detection sensors 51. Is connected to the control unit 48. Although specific illustration is omitted, the apparatus main body 2 carries out processing such as storing and processing the banknotes S fed by the banknote separating and feeding unit 24, for example, by classifying and counting for each type. A mechanism 52 is provided and is also connected to the control unit 48.

Below, the control content of the control part 48 in 1st Embodiment is demonstrated.

Here, after the last taking-in operation is completed, the control unit 48 is stopped in a state where the detection plate 41 is detected by the open limit position detection sensor 47, and thus the bill pressing plate 4 is stopped at the fully open position. . In processing the banknote S from this standby state, the operator loads the banknote S in a state in which the banknote S is accumulated in the direction in which the banknote S is connected between the banknote holding unit 19 of the receiving unit 1 and the banknote pressing plate 4. It will be. When the bill S is loaded, the controller 48 detects this loading by blocking the optical path 50c of the bill detection sensor 50. When it is detected that the bill S has been loaded in the receiving unit 1 in this manner, the control unit 48 drives the opening / closing drive unit 45 to bring the endless belt 38 close to the stepped portion 3. Rotate to travel in the direction you want. As a result, the regulating member 40 moves in the direction approaching the step portion 3, and the guide block 27 and the bill pressing plate 4 locked by the protruding portion 29 are moved in the closing direction by the biasing force of the biasing spring 30. Let If the banknote pressing plate 4 comes into contact with the banknote S and holds the banknote S with the banknote holder 19 during the movement of the regulating member 40, the banknote pressing plate 4 stops and only the regulating member 40 moves. .

When the closing limit position detection sensor 46 detects the detection plate 41, the control unit 48 stops the driving of the opening / closing driving unit 45, that is, the driving of the endless belt 38, and between the banknote holding unit 19 and the banknote pressing plate 4. It is determined that the banknote S has been held at the beginning, and a start operation such as pressing a start button for starting the operation of taking the banknote S into the apparatus main body 2 is accepted. When a start operation is input by the operator, the feeding drive unit 23 and the internal processing mechanism 52 are driven. Thereby, the banknote S hold | maintained between the banknote holding | maintenance part 19 and the banknote press board 4 is isolate | separated one by one from the banknote holding | maintenance part 19 side including the feeding by the banknote separation | separation feeding part 24, and it is in the apparatus main body 2. The taking-in operation which takes in from the delivery port 22 is performed.

That is, the kicking roller 11 protrudes from the banknote holding surface 9 by the urging force of the pressing spring 16. Therefore, when the feeding drive unit 23 is driven, the kicking roller 11 is moved to the banknote holding unit 19 and the banknote pressing plate 4. Of the banknotes S held between the banknote S and the banknote S on the side of the banknote holder 19, the banknote S is kicked out toward the outlet 22, and the banknote holder 19 side that is kicked out most The bill S is brought into contact with the feeding roller 12 and transferred from the feeding port 22 to the internal processing mechanism 52. At this time, the separation roller 13 disposed opposite to the feeding roller 12 is stopped, and other banknotes S that are dragged by the banknote S on the most banknote holding part 19 side and moved to the feeding roller 12 side are stopped. As a result, only the banknote S closest to the banknote holding part 19 that comes into contact with the feeding roller 12 is transferred from the feeding port 22 to the internal processing mechanism 52 and pulled in by the internal processing mechanism 52.

When the banknote detection sensor 50 does not detect the banknote S held between the banknote holding unit 19 and the banknote pressing plate 4 during the above-described taking-in operation, the control unit 48 stops the feeding drive unit 23. When the take-up operation is completed and the standby position in the opening direction is set, the opening / closing drive unit 45 is driven so that the endless belt 38 travels in a direction in which the upper side portion 38a is separated from the step portion 3. Rotate. Thereby, the restricting member 40 moves in a direction away from the step portion 3, and moves the guide block 27 and the pressing plate 4 in contact with the protruding portion 29 in the opening direction. Then, when the detection plate 41 is detected by the open limit position detection sensor 47, the control unit 48 stops the opening / closing drive unit 45 to enter a standby state in which the banknote pressing plate 4 is stopped at the fully open position.

Here, when the operator adds the banknote S in the receiving unit 1 during the above-described taking-in operation, the banknote pressing plate 4 is separated from the banknote holding unit 19 against the biasing force of the biasing spring 30. Manually move in the opening direction. At this time, since the taking operation is being performed, the banknote S remains between the banknote holding unit 19 and the banknote pressing plate 4, and the control unit 48 is in a state where the banknote detection sensor 50 detects the banknote S. Thus, it is detected that the banknote pressing plate 4 has been moved in the opening direction from the detection signals of the respective open / close position detection sensors 51 that detect the detection unit 28 of the guide block 27.

As described above, when the plurality of open / close position detection sensors 51 detect that the banknote pressing plate 4 is moved in the opening direction during the taking-in operation in the state where the banknote detection sensor 50 detects the banknote S, the control is performed. The unit 48 interrupts the capturing operation. That is, the control unit 48 stops the feeding drive unit 23, that is, the kicking roller 11 and the feeding roller 12, and drives the forcible retracting unit 18 to retract the kicking roller 11 from the bill holding surface 9. Thereby, the loaded banknote S can be supported only by the flat banknote holding surface 9, and the loaded banknote S is in a stable state. In this state, the operator basically additionally loads the bill S between the bill S already loaded and the bill pressing plate 4. Note that, when the take-in operation is interrupted, the operation of the internal processing mechanism 52 is interrupted when the process for the already taken-in bill S is completed.

When the operator additionally loads the bill S after interruption of the taking-in operation, the bill pressing plate 4 is moved in the closing direction by the biasing force of the biasing spring 30, and then the bill pressing plate 4 is moved to the bill holding surface 9. It will be in the state which hold | maintains and stops the banknote S between. At this time, the control unit 48 detects that the banknote pressing plate 4 has moved in the closing direction and stopped from the detection signal of each open / close position detection sensor 51. Then, the control unit 48 considers that the banknote pressing plate 4 is in a state of holding the banknote S again with the banknote holding unit 19, stops the driving of the forcible retracting unit 18, and holds the kick roller 11. After projecting from the surface 9, and after waiting for a predetermined time by the built-in timer, the feeding drive unit 23, that is, the kicking roller 11 and the feeding roller 12 are driven, and the internal processing mechanism 52 is driven to resume the taking-in operation. To do.

In addition, after completion | finish of taking-in operation, the control part 48 makes the banknote processing apparatus the operation preparation mode which can be operate | moved immediately, and the banknote detection sensor 50 makes the banknote S over predetermined time in the state which set the standby position of the opening direction after that. When no detection is performed, or when the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 does not detect the movement of the banknote pressing plate 4 in the opening direction for a predetermined time with the standby position in the closing direction set, any operation by the operator is performed. The banknote processing apparatus is switched to the energy saving mode that consumes less power than the operation preparation mode, although it is not possible to operate immediately when the banknote S is not used. When the banknote detection sensor 50 detects the banknote S or the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 detects the movement of the banknote pressing plate 4 in the closing direction, which is an operation, the operation is saved. And it is adapted to automatically returns to the operational readiness mode from Nemodo. That is, for an operator who is familiar with the apparatus, prior to the start operation, priority is given to setting the bills to be counted in the receiving unit 1, and therefore an operation related to bill loading performed before the start operation is detected. Automatically return from energy-saving mode to operation preparation mode.

According to 1st Embodiment described above, in the state which the banknote detection sensor 50 is detecting the banknote S hold | maintained between the banknote holding | maintenance part 19 and the banknote press plate 4, the hold | maintained banknote S is made into a banknote. When the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 detects that the banknote pressing plate 4 has moved in the opening direction while performing the taking-in operation of taking the paper into the apparatus main body 2 one by one, including the feeding by the separation feeding unit 24, the control is performed. Part 48 interrupts the capture operation. Therefore, for example, when the bill S is additionally loaded during the taking-in operation, the taking-in operation is automatically stopped when the bill pressing plate 4 moves in the opening direction. Therefore, when the banknote S to be processed is additionally loaded during the taking-in operation of the banknote S into the apparatus main body 2, the operator can safely add the banknote S to the receiving unit 1 where the taking-in operation is interrupted, and the additional banknote S is not set correctly. Can be prevented in advance.

Further, when interrupting the take-in operation, the control unit 48 stops the rotation of the kicking roller 11 that vibrates the loaded banknote S so that it does not protrude from the banknote holding surface 9. At the time of additional loading after interrupting, the banknote S can be added without disturbing the accumulation state. That is, if the kick roller 11 is stopped in a state where the kick roller 11 protrudes toward the banknote pressing plate 4 with respect to the banknote holding surface 9 of the banknote holding section 19, the banknote S on the banknote holding surface 9 of the banknote holding section 19. Of the banknote pressing plate 4 is lifted to the banknote pressing plate 4 side, and depending on the opening position of the banknote pressing plate 4, when the banknote S is additionally loaded, the stacked state of the banknote S already loaded may be disturbed. By setting the kick roller 11 so as not to protrude, the loaded banknote S becomes stable, and additional loading in this state becomes possible.

Further, since the rotation of the feeding roller 12 and the separation roller 13 in addition to the kicking roller 11 is stopped when the taking-in operation is interrupted, additional loading in a more stable state is possible. Therefore, the operator can perform additional loading with more peace of mind, and it is possible to reliably prevent the additional banknotes S from being set in advance.

Further, after interrupting the taking-in operation, the control unit 48 detects the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 to move the banknote pressing plate 4 in the closing direction, and the banknote pressing plate 4 holds the banknote S between the banknote holding unit 19. When it can be regarded as being held again, the take-in operation is resumed. Therefore, after the take-in operation is interrupted, the bill S is additionally loaded, the bill pressing plate 4 is moved in the closing direction, and the bill S is moved with the bill holder 19. If it is held again, it will automatically recover from the interruption state of the take-in operation, and work efficiency can be improved.

In addition, the controller 48 detects the movement of the opening / closing position detection sensor 51 in the closing direction of the banknote pressing plate 4 after interruption of the take-in operation, and the banknote pressing plate 4 again inserts the banknote S between the banknote pressing plate 4 and the banknote holding section 19. When the state can be regarded as being held, the capture operation is resumed after a predetermined time has elapsed, so the capture process is not resumed immediately, but is resumed with a delay of one tempo, and one beat is placed before the resume operation. Therefore, a sense of security can be further provided to the operator.

Note that when the take-in operation is interrupted, the kick roller 11 may be left protruding from the bill holding surface 9. In this case, the forced evacuation unit 18 is not required, and the structure can be simplified.

Further, when the take-in operation is interrupted, only the rotation of the kicking roller 11 may be stopped without stopping the feeding roller 12. In this case, a clutch that cuts the driving force is provided between the feeding drive unit 23 and the kicking roller 11 and a brake that brakes the kicking roller 11 when the clutch is disconnected, or the kicking roller 11 and the feeding roller 12 are connected. It is driven by a separate motor (driving means).

Further, instead of the opening / closing position detection sensor 51, a rack gear is provided in parallel with the guide shaft 26, and a rotary encoder having a pinion gear meshing with the rack gear is provided on the guide block 27 to detect the movement position of the banknote pressing plate 4 in the opening / closing direction. Thus, movement in the opening direction, movement in the closing direction, and stop of the bill pressing plate 4 may be detected.

Further, the opening direction standby position return mechanism 49 described above may not be provided. In this case, the banknote pressing plate 4 is located closest to the banknote holding part 19 and is in contact with the kicking roller 11, and the standby position is set. In contrast, the banknote pressing plate 4 is manually moved in the opening direction away from the banknote holder 19 to load the banknote S, and the banknote pressing plate 4 is moved in the closing direction. For this reason, the control part 48 detects that the banknote press board 4 was moved to the opening direction from the detection signal of each opening-and-closing position detection sensor 51 from a standby state, Then, interruption | blocking of the optical path 50c of the banknote detection sensor 50 , The loading of the banknote S is detected, and when it is detected from the detection signal of each open / close position detection sensor 51 that the banknote pressing plate 4 has moved in the closing direction and stopped, the banknote holding unit 19 and the banknote pressing plate 4 It is determined that the bill S has been held in between, and a start operation for starting the operation of taking the bill S into the apparatus main body 2 is accepted. In addition, when the bill S is not detected by the bill detection sensor 50 and the take-in operation is finished, the bill pressing plate 4 is at the standby position where the bill pressing plate 4 is located closest to the bill holder 19 and abuts against the kick roller 11. Become. Therefore, if the control part 48 detects that the banknote press board 4 moved to the opening direction based on the detection signal of the opening-and-closing position detection sensor 51 during energy saving mode, it will operate | move from energy saving mode, without waiting for start operation. It automatically returns to the preparation mode.

A banknote handling apparatus according to a second embodiment of the present invention will be described mainly with reference to FIGS.
In the second embodiment, the receiving part 60 is substantially from a placing part 62 provided on the upper surface of the apparatus main body 61 and extending along a substantially horizontal direction, and a rear end position of the placing part 62 on the banknote taking side. And a contact portion 63 that rises vertically upward. The mounting portion 62 is slightly inclined downward. The receiving unit 60 has a banknote pressing plate (banknote pressing unit) 64 that rotates above the mounting unit 62 so as to be able to face the mounting unit 62, and the banknote pressing plate 64 is provided from outside the apparatus. The banknotes loaded in a state where they are stacked in the up-down direction are held between the placement unit 62 and the banknotes.

The banknote holding surface 69, which is the upper surface of the placing portion 62, comes into contact with the banknote holding surface 69 side of the banknote loaded between the banknote pressing plate 64 and separates it to kick it backward. 71 is provided so that a part of the peripheral surface can protrude from the banknote holding surface 69 to the banknote pressing plate 64 side. The rear side of the kicking roller 71 is linked to the kicking roller 71. A feeding roller 72 that rotates in rotation and a separation roller 73 that is disposed to face the feeding roller 72 are provided. The kicking roller 71, the feeding roller 72, and the separation roller 73 are the same as those in the first embodiment, and the banknote take-in position of the feeding roller 72 and the separation roller 73 is set as the feeding port 74 of the apparatus main body 61. The payout opening 74 is provided with a payout sensor (banknote detection means) 74a for detecting the taking-in of the banknote. The feeding sensor 74a has a banknote holding unit 79 and a banknote pressing plate 64 including the kicking roller 71 and the mounting unit 62 depending on whether the banknotes are being continuously fed or stopped. The presence or absence of banknotes held between the two is detected.

An arm 75 is supported on the rotation shaft 72 a of the feeding roller 72 so as to be swingable on the base end side, and the rotation shaft 71 a of the kick roller 71 is supported on the distal end side of the arm 75. Therefore, the kick roller 71 can be projected and retracted from the bill holding surface 69 to the bill pressing plate 4 side by swinging the arm 75.

One end of a press spring 76 such as a compression coil spring that urges the kick roller 71 in a direction in which the kick roller 71 protrudes from the bill holding surface 69 is connected to the arm 75. The other end of the pressing spring 76 is supported by a spring base 77, and the spring base 77 is supported by a frame (not shown) so as to be vertically movable in a direction connecting the placing portion 62 and the bill pressing plate 64. Yes. The spring base 77 is connected to a forcible retracting portion 78 such as a solenoid for retracting the kick roller 71 from the banknote holding surface 69 via the pressing spring 76 and the spring base 77.

Here, reference numeral 83 in the drawing indicates a feeding drive unit including a motor and the like that rotationally drives and brakes the feeding roller 72 and the kicking roller 71 that always rotates in synchronization with the feeding roller 72. A kicking roller 71, a feeding roller 72, a separation roller 73, an arm 75, a pressing spring 76, a spring base 77, and a feeding drive unit 83 are disposed in the vicinity of the banknote holding unit 79, and one banknote is placed from the banknote on the banknote holding unit 79 side. A banknote separating and feeding unit 84 configured to separate the sheets one by one and feed them into the apparatus main body 61 is configured.

A support shaft 86 supported by a frame (not shown) is provided behind the contact portion 63 so as to extend horizontally in parallel with the separation roller 73 and the like. The arm 87 is fixed. The connecting arm 87 has an arm portion 88 extending radially outward from the support shaft 86, and a swing shaft 89 is provided in parallel to the support shaft 86 at the tip thereof. A bill pressing plate 64 is supported so as to be swingable. As a result, the bill pressing plate 64 revolves around the support shaft 86 and swings around the swing shaft 89 in a rotational manner. As a result, the banknote pressing plate 64 is positioned on the upper side and has a posture along the vertical direction and enters the recess 91 formed in the contact portion 63, and is positioned on the lower side and has a posture along the substantially horizontal direction. And swiveling and swinging between the state where it comes into contact with the mounting portion 62.

The support shaft 86, the connecting arm 87, and the swing shaft 89 described above open and close to support the banknote pressing plate 64 so as to be able to be separated and approached, that is, to be opened and closed, with respect to the banknote holding section 79 including the placing section 62 and the kick roller 71 A support mechanism (opening / closing support means) 92 is configured. The banknote pressing plate 64 moves in the closing direction only by the weight of the banknote pressing plate 64, the connecting arm 87 and the swing shaft 89, presses the banknote from above, and holds it with the banknote holding unit 79.

In the second embodiment, a rotary encoder (banknote detection means, opening / closing position detection means, angle detection means) 95 for detecting the rotation angle is attached to the support shaft 86. The rotary encoder 95 detects the movement position and the opening / closing movement direction of the banknote pressing plate 64 in the opening / closing direction.

As shown in FIG. 4, the forcible retraction unit 78, the feeding drive unit 83, the feeding sensor 74 a, and the rotary encoder 95 are connected to the control unit 98. The apparatus main body 61 is provided with an internal processing mechanism 99 for carrying out processing such as storing by sorting and counting, for example, for each type of banknotes fed by the banknote separating and feeding unit 84. Is also connected to the control unit 98.

Below, the control content of the control part 98 in 2nd Embodiment is demonstrated.

In 2nd Embodiment, the state which the banknote press board 64 is located in the banknote holding part 79 side turns into a standby position. Then, when processing the banknote, the operator manually moves the banknote pressing plate 64 in the opening direction away from the banknote holding section 79 against its own weight, and stacks the banknotes in the vertical direction. 79, the bill pressing plate 64 is moved in the closing direction. For this reason, after detecting that the banknote pressing plate 64 is moved in the opening direction from the detection signal of the rotary encoder 95, the control unit 98 is moved in the closing direction and detects that it has stopped. Then, the control unit 98 determines that the banknote is held between the banknote holding unit 79 and the banknote pressing plate 64, and accepts a start operation for starting the operation of taking the banknote into the apparatus main body 61. It becomes a state. When a start operation is input by the operator, the feeding drive unit 83 and the internal processing mechanism 99 are driven. As a result, the banknotes held between the banknote holding unit 79 and the banknote pressing plate 64 are separated one by one from the banknote holding unit 79 side, including being fed by the banknote separating and feeding unit 84, and fed into the apparatus main body 61. Taking in from the outlet 74 is performed.

That is, the kick roller 71 can protrude from the banknote holding surface 69 by the urging force of the pressing spring 76. Therefore, when the feeding drive unit 83 is driven, the kick roller 71 and the banknote pressing unit 79 are pressed against each other. Of the banknotes held between the plates 64, the banknote closest to the banknote holding part 79 is kicked out toward the payout opening 74, and the kicked banknote comes into contact with the payout roller 72 and is separated by the separation roller 73. Separated and delivered one by one from the delivery port 74 to the internal processing mechanism 99. Then, when the feeding sensor 74a does not continuously detect taking in the banknote for a predetermined time, the control unit 98 determines that the banknote has run out in the receiving unit 60, stops the feeding driving unit 83, and ends the taking-in operation. To do.

Here, when an operator adds a banknote to the receiving unit 60 during the above-described taking-in operation, the banknote pressing plate 64 is manually moved in the opening direction away from the banknote holding unit 79. At this time, since the taking-in operation is being performed, banknotes remain between the banknote holding unit 79 and the banknote pressing plate 64, and the control unit 98 detects that the banknote is being fed out by the feeding sensor 74a. In addition, it is detected that the banknote remains in the receiving unit 1, and it is detected from the detection signal of the rotary encoder 95 that the banknote pressing plate 64 has been moved in the opening direction.

In this way, when the rotary encoder 95 detects that the banknote pressing plate 64 has been moved in the opening direction during the taking-in operation in the state where the remaining banknote is detected in the receiving unit 60, the control unit 98 takes in Stop operation. That is, the control unit 98 stops the feeding drive unit 83, that is, the kicking roller 71 and the feeding roller 72, and drives the forcible retracting unit 78 to retract the kicking roller 71 from the bill holding surface 69. Thereby, the loaded banknote can be supported only by the flat banknote holding surface 69, and the loaded banknote is in a stable state. In this state, the operator basically additionally loads the bill between the already loaded bill and the bill pressing plate 64. Note that, when the taking operation is interrupted, the operation of the internal processing mechanism 99 is interrupted when the processing for the already taken bills is completed.

When the operator additionally loads a bill after interrupting the take-in operation, the bill pressing plate 64 is moved in the closing direction, and thereafter the bill pressing plate 64 holds the bill between the bill holding surface 69. It will be in a state to stop. At this time, the control unit 98 detects from the detection signal of the rotary encoder 95 that the bill pressing plate 64 has moved in the closing direction and has stopped. Then, the control unit 98 considers that the banknote pressing plate 64 is in a state of holding the banknote again with the banknote holding unit 79, stops the driving of the forcible retraction unit 78, and moves the kick roller 71 to the banknote holding surface. 69, and after waiting for a predetermined time by the timing of the built-in timer, the feeding drive unit 83, that is, the kicking roller 71 and the feeding roller 72 are driven, and the internal processing mechanism 99 is driven to resume the taking-in operation. .

Note that, similarly to the first embodiment, the control unit 98 sets the banknote handling apparatus in the operation preparation mode after the take-in operation is completed, and thereafter, when there is no movement in the opening direction of the banknote pressing plate 64 for a predetermined time or an operator The bill processing apparatus is switched to the energy saving mode when any of the operations is not performed, but the bill pressing plate 4 that is an operation for processing the bill is opened during the energy saving mode. When the rotary encoder 95 detects the movement in the direction, the energy saving mode automatically returns to the operation preparation mode.

According to the second embodiment described above, the rotary encoder 95 that detects the opening / closing angle of the banknote pressing plate 64 with respect to the banknote holder 79 detects the movement position and the opening / closing movement direction of the banknote pressing plate 64 in the opening / closing direction. In addition, the movement of the banknote pressing plate 64 in the opening / closing direction with respect to the banknote holding section 79 can be satisfactorily handled when the banknote holding section 79 is not a linear movement but a turning movement as described above.

The banknote handling apparatus according to the third embodiment of the present invention will be described mainly with reference to FIGS. 5 to 7 focusing on the differences from the second embodiment.

In the third embodiment, as shown in FIG. 5, the banknote pressing plate 64 is fixed to the support member 103, and this support member 103 is supported by the connecting arm 87 by the swing shaft 89. A guide roller 100 that travels along the front surface of the contact portion 63 is rotatably attached to the support member 103.

As shown in FIG. 6, the engagement lever 101 is fixed to the end of the support shaft 86 that supports the connecting arm 87 on the side opposite to the rotary encoder 95. The engagement lever 101 is connected to an urging spring 102 made of a torsion spring that urges the support shaft 86 in a predetermined direction. The urging spring 102 is a direction in which the bill pressing plate 64 turns in the closing direction. The support shaft 86 is biased.

In addition, an opening / closing drive unit 105 that rotates the engagement lever 101 in the opening direction of the bill pressing plate 64 is provided. The opening / closing drive unit 105 detects a rotation of the motor 106, a pair of gears 107 and 108 that transmit the driving force of the motor 106, an operation pin 109 that is fixed to the gear 108 and rotates the engagement lever 101, and the rotation of the gear 107. And a rotary encoder 110.

The opening / closing drive unit 105 drives the bill pressing plate 64 in the opening / closing direction via the engagement lever 101, the support shaft 86 and the connecting arm 87 by driving the operating pin 109 in the forward / reverse direction. Specifically, when the operating pin 109 moves upward, the connecting arm 87 integrated with the engaging lever 101 that contacts the operating pin 109 on the upper side turns the bill pressing plate 64 in the opening direction. Is moved downward, the connecting arm 87 integrated with the engaging lever 101 that contacts the operating pin 109 on the upper side turns the bill pressing plate 64 in the closing direction.

Below, the control content of the control part 98 in 3rd Embodiment is demonstrated.

After the end of the previous taking-in operation, the control unit 98 positions the opening / closing drive unit 105 based on the detection signal of the rotary encoder 110 to position the operating pin 109 at the upper turning limit position, and the bill pressing plate 64 to the end in the opening direction. The banknote pressing plate 4 is stopped at the fully open position. When processing banknotes from this standby state, the operator loads the banknotes in a vertically stacked state on the banknote holder 79 and operates a start button (not shown). Then, the control unit 98 drives the opening / closing drive unit 105 to rotate the operating pin 109 downward. As a result, the engagement lever 101 abutting against the operating pin 109, the support shaft 86 and the connecting arm 87 integral therewith rotate the bill pressing plate 64 in the closing direction by the urging force of the urging spring 102 and the like. When the banknote pressing plate 64 comes into contact with the banknote and the banknote is held by the banknote holding unit 79 while the engagement lever 101 is rotating, the banknote pressing plate 64 stops and the operating pin 109 is separated from the engagement lever 101. Will turn.

When the control unit 98 detects that the operation pin 109 is located at the limit position in the closing direction based on the detection signal of the rotary encoder 110, the control unit 98 stops driving the opening / closing drive unit 105, that is, turning of the operation pin 109. Then, it is determined that the banknote is held between the banknote holding unit 79 and the banknote pressing plate 64, and the feeding drive unit 23 and the internal processing mechanism 99 are driven. Thereby, the banknotes held between the banknote holding unit 79 and the banknote pressing plate 64 are separated one by one from the banknote holding unit 79 side, including being fed out by the banknote separating and feeding unit 84, and fed into the apparatus main body 2. Taking in from the outlet 22 is performed.

Then, when the feeding sensor 74a does not continuously detect taking in the banknote for a predetermined time, the control section 98 determines that the banknote has run out in the receiving section 60, stops the feeding driving section 83, and opens and closes the opening / closing driving section 105. Driven to pivot the actuation pin 109 upward. As a result, the operating pin 109 abuts on the engaging lever 101, rotates the engaging lever 101, the support shaft 86 and the connecting arm 87 integral therewith, and turns the bill pressing plate 64 in the opening direction. Based on the detection signal of the rotary encoder 110, when the opening / closing drive unit 105 is in a standby state in which the operating pin 109 is positioned at the upper turning limit position and the bill pressing plate 64 is positioned at the end position in the opening direction, the control unit 98 stops the driving of the opening / closing drive unit 105 and ends the take-in operation.

Here, when the operator adds a bill into the receiving unit 60 during the above-described taking-in operation, the bill pressing plate 64 is separated from the bill holding unit 79 against the biasing force of the biasing spring 102. Move manually in the opening direction. At this time, since the taking-in operation is being performed, the bill remains between the bill holding unit 79 and the bill pressing plate 64, and the control unit 98 detects that the bill is being fed out by the feeding sensor 74a. In addition, it is determined that the bill of the receiving unit 60 is being detected, and it is detected from the detection signal of the rotary encoder 95 that the bill pressing plate 64 has been moved in the opening direction.

When the operator additionally loads a banknote after interrupting the taking-in operation, the banknote pressing plate 64 is moved in the closing direction by the biasing force of the biasing spring 102, and then the banknote pressing plate 64 is moved to the banknote holding surface 69. It will be in the state which holds and stops a bill between. 69, and after waiting for a predetermined time by the timing of the built-in timer, the feeding drive unit 83, that is, the kicking roller 71 and the feeding roller 72 are driven, and the internal processing mechanism 99 is driven to resume the taking-in operation. .

As described above, in any of the banknote handling apparatus according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the banknote handling apparatus according to the second embodiment, and the banknote handling apparatus according to the third embodiment, the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are rocked. Although it demonstrated as what is made to evacuate from the banknote holding surfaces 9,69,69 by driving the part 18,78,78, it is not necessarily restricted to such a structure. That is, the rotary shafts 11a, 71a, 71a of the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are fixed to the machine body, and the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are provided with a large-diameter portion for kicking out, and a bill holding surface. By providing a sensor that detects the rotational position of the kick rollers 11, 71, 71, and is configured with a small diameter portion that does not protrude toward the banknote pressing plates 4, 64, 64 than 9, 69, 69. When the take-in operation is interrupted by the control units 48, 98, 98, the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are controlled to stop so that the small diameter portions of the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are located on the banknote holding surfaces 9, 69, 69 side. The large diameter portions of the rollers 11, 71, 71 can be retracted from the bill holding surfaces 9, 69, 69. Alternatively, the rotary shafts 11a, 71a, 71a of the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are provided in a fixed position on the machine body, and the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are constituted by roller bodies that rotate eccentrically so as to kick out. And a small-diameter portion that does not protrude from the bill holding surfaces 9, 69, 69 toward the bill pressing plates 4, 64, 64, and the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 By providing a sensor that detects the rotation position, when the take-in operation is interrupted by the control units 48, 98, 98, the small diameter portions of the kick rollers 11, 71, 71 are positioned on the banknote holding surfaces 9, 69, 69 side.
