Claims (14)
- カソード/セパレータ/アノード構造の電極組立体が電解質と一緒に密閉された状態でバッテリーケース内に取り付けられる構造を有するように構成されたバッテリーセルであって、
前記バッテリーケースはその上部に第1の電極端子、第2の電極端子、および一対の結合溝が設けられ、前記結合溝のうちの1つは前記第1の電極端子に形成され、前記第2の電極端子は前記バッテリーケースの上部の中央から突出する、バッテリーセルと、
保護回路が上に形成されているプリント回路基板(PCB)、前記第1の電極端子および前記第2の電極端子にそれぞれ接続される接続部材Aおよび接続部材B、ならびに安全要素を含む保護回路モジュール(PCM)と、
前記PCMを囲むように前記バッテリーセルの上部に取り付けられる電気的に絶縁された上部キャップであって、それぞれの前記結合溝に通じる貫通孔を有する、電気的に絶縁された上部キャップと、
を含み、
前記接続部材Aは、前記バッテリーセルの前記第1の電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Aの接続部が、前記上部キャップに形成された前記貫通孔のうちの対応する1つを通じて露出されるように、前記接続部材Aが前記PCBの一端から横方向に突出する状態で前記PCBの底部に結合され、結合孔が、前記接続部材Aの突出部分に形成され、前記バッテリーセルの前記第2の電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Bの接続部は、前記接続部材Bが前記安全要素を介して前記PCBに電気的に接続されるように前記PCBの底部に位置付けられ、
結合部材が、前記PCMおよび前記上部キャップが前記バッテリーセルの上部に配設されている状態で前記上部キャップの前記貫通孔を通じて前記バッテリーセルのそれぞれの前記結合溝に結合され、前記接続部材Aは、前記結合部材のうちの対応する1つによって前記第1の電極端子に機械的に結合され、電気的に接続され、
前記バッテリーセルの前記電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Aおよび接続部材Bの一部分が露出された状態で、絶縁テープが前記PCBの底部に取り付けられ、
前記絶縁テープは、前記第1の電極端子に面する前記接続部材Aのバッテリーセル結合部及び前記第2の電極端子に面する前記接続部材Bの1つの面を除く、前記PCBの底部の残りの部分全体に取り付けられる、二次バッテリーパック。 - バッテリーケースは、金属容器である請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記第1の電極端子はカソード端子であり、前記第2の電極端子はアノード端子である請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記結合溝は、前記バッテリーケースの上部の両端に位置付けられる請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記接続部材Aは、半田付けによって前記PCBの底部に結合される請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記接続部材Aは、前記PCBの底部に結合されるPCB結合部と、前記バッテリーセルの上部に結合されるバッテリーセル結合部と、を含み、前記バッテリーセル結合部は、前記上部キャップの前記貫通孔のうちの対応する1つを通じて前記バッテリーセル結合部が露出されるように前記PCBの一端から横方向に突出する請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記第2の電極端子に接続される接続端子が、前記PCBの底部における前記接続部材Aと反対側の部分に形成され、溶接によって前記第2の電極端子に結合される前記接続部材Bが、前記安全要素を介して前記接続端子に電気的に接続される請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記安全要素は、正の温度係数(PTC)要素である請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記接続部材Aおよび前記接続部材Bは、ニッケル板から作られる請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記結合部材は、ねじである請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーセルの前記バッテリーケースの外側に取り付けられる被覆フィルムをさらに含む請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーセルは、角型リチウム二次バッテリーセルである請求項1に記載の二次バッテリーパック。
- カソード/セパレータ/アノード構造の電極組立体が電解質と一緒に密閉された状態でバッテリーケース内に取り付けられる構造を有するように構成されたバッテリーセルに取り付けられる保護回路モジュール(PCM)組立体において、前記バッテリーケースには上部に第1の電極端子、第2の電極端子、および一対の結合溝が設けられる、保護回路モジュール(PCM)組立体であって、
保護回路が上に形成されているプリント回路基板(PCB)、前記第1の電極端子および前記第2の電極端子にそれぞれ接続される接続部材Aおよび接続部材B、ならびに安全要素を含むPCMと、
前記PCMが中に取り付けられている状態で前記バッテリーセルの上部に取り付けられる電気的に絶縁された上部キャップであって、それぞれの前記結合溝に通じる貫通孔を有する、電気的に絶縁された上部キャップと、
を含み、
前記接続部材Aは、前記バッテリーセルの前記第1の電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Aの接続部が、前記上部キャップに形成された前記貫通孔のうちの対応する1つを通じて露出されるように、前記接続部材Aが前記PCBの一端から横方向に突出する状態で前記PCBの底部に結合され、結合孔が、前記接続部材Aの突出部分に形成され、前記バッテリーセルの前記第2の電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Bの接続部は、前記接続部材Bが前記安全要素を介して前記PCBに電気的に接続されるように、前記PCBの底部に位置付けられ、
前記バッテリーセルの前記電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Aおよび前記接続部材Bの一部が露出される状態で、絶縁テープが、前記PCBの底部に取り付けられ、
前記絶縁テープは、前記第1の電極端子に面する前記接続部材Aのバッテリーセル結合部及び前記第2の電極端子に面する前記接続部材Bの1つの面を除く、前記PCBの底部の残りの部分全体に取り付けられる、保護回路モジュール(PCM)組立体。 - (a)安全要素の1つの面に接続部材Bを結合するとともに、前記安全要素の反対側の面に絶縁テープを取り付けるステップと、
(b)保護回路が上に形成されているプリント回路基板(PCB)の底部に、前記安全要素のもう1つの面を結合するステップと、
(c)結合孔が中に形成されている接続部材Aを、前記接続部材Aが前記PCBの底部の一端から横方向に突出する状態で前記PCBの底部に結合して保護回路モジュール(PCM)を製造するステップと、
(d)前記PCMを絶縁上部キャップの中に取り付けるステップと、
(e)絶縁テープを、前記PCMの底部における、バッテリーセルの第1の電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Aの一部および前記バッテリーセルの第2の電極端子に接続される前記接続部材Bの一部を除く残りの部分全体に取り付けるステップと、
(f)溶接によって前記第2の電極端子に前記接続部材Bを結合するとともに、前記接続部材Bを曲げて前記バッテリーセルの上部に前記上部キャップを取り付けるステップと、
(g)ねじ止めによって前記バッテリーセルに前記上部キャップを結合して、前記第1の電極端子と前記接続部材Aとの間の電気的接続および機械的結合を実現するステップと、
(h)接着によって前記バッテリーセルの底部に絶縁底部キャップを結合するステップと、
(i)ねじ止め構造を有するように構成されている前記上部キャップの貫通孔に、接着剤を注入するか、または封止部材を挿入するステップと、
(j)被覆フィルムで前記バッテリーパックの外側を包むステップと、
を含む、二次バッテリーパックを製造する方法。
