Description
Claims (8)
- 近接照射治療装置において:
組織を通して管に導入する近位端と遠位端を具える細長本体と;
前記遠位端上の複数のチューブ状部材であって、これに沿って前記細長本体の近位端から放射線源を受けるルーメンを具え、組織の管を通ってターゲット位置に導入するための折りたたんだ構造から、拡開した構造へ移動可能なチューブ状部材と;
各チューブ状部材のルーメンに沿って取り外し可能に受けることができる複数のマーカデバイスであって、当該マーカデバイスが前記チューブ状部材のルーメン内に受けられるときに前記チューブ状部材の近位端に係合して前記ルーメンを実質的に密封する端部キャップをそれぞれ有する複数のマーカデバイスと;
を具えることを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。 - 近接照射治療装置において:
放射線源を受けるルーメンを有し、組織の管を通って患者の体内のターゲット位置に導入するようにサイズ設定された細長本体であって、前記ルーメンが、当該細長本体の近位端における開口から当該細長本体の閉じた遠位端まで延在する細長本体と;
前記細長本体の遠位端に隣接する遠位部分と、この遠位部分が前記ターゲット位置に導入されるときに患者の体から延出するように構成された近位部分とを有する複数のチューブ状部材であって、前記遠位部分が、組織の管を通ってターゲット位置に導入するための折りたたんだ構造、及びターゲット位置で周囲の組織に接触するための拡開した構造から移動可能であり、前記近位部分の開口から前記遠位部分の閉じた端部まで延在して放射線源を受けるルーメンを具える、チューブ状部材と;
各チューブ状部材のルーメン及び前記細長本体のルーメンに沿って取り外し可能に前記開口内に受けることができる複数のデバイスであって、当該デバイスが前記チューブ状部材のルーメン内に受けられるときに各チューブ状部材の開口に係合して前記ルーメンを実質的に密封する端部キャップをそれぞれ有する複数のマーカデバイスと;
を具えることを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の装置が更に、折りたたんだ構造と拡開した構造との間で前記チューブ状部材を移動させる拡開ツールを具え、当該拡開ツールが、前記近位部分に隣接し、かつ前記細長本体に連結されることを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の装置において、前記デバイスが放射線不透過性材料を具えることを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。
- 請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の装置において、前記デバイスが前記チューブ状部材を支持するのに十分な強度を有することを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。
- 請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載の装置において、前記デバイスが、前記チューブ状部材内に挿入されるときに、相対的に強力であるがフレキシブルなサポートを提供して、治療の間における前記チューブ状部材へのダメージまたはねじれまたはその他の変形を防止することを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の装置において、前記デバイスが前記ルーメンを通って前記チューブ状部材の遠位端へと延在するように、前記デバイスが前記ルーメン内に受けられることを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の装置において、前記デバイスが、その遠位端に1またはそれ以上のマーカを含むことを特徴とする近接照射治療装置。
