Description
−0ないし10部、好ましくは7部未満の重縮合触媒、たとえば硫酸アンモニウム;
−0ないし2部のシラン、特にアミノシラン;
−0ないし20部、好ましくは6ないし15部のオイル;および
−0ないし20部、好ましくは12部未満のアンモニア水溶液(20重量%溶液)。
頂部にコンデンサがあり、攪拌システムを備えた2リットルのリアクタに、378gのフェノール(4mol)、および37%の水溶液として809gのホルムアルデヒド(10mol)を導入し(2.5に等しいホルムアルデヒド/フェノールのモル比)、混合物を、攪拌しながら45℃に加熱した。
例1の条件下で液体樹脂を調製した。
−5/1に等しい圧縮比(見かけ厚さの圧縮下の厚さに対する比として定義される)による圧縮下で24時間後の厚さ回復性。この厚さ回復性は、測定された厚さの見かけ厚さに対する比であり、%で表される;これは製品の優れた寸法挙動を評価することを可能にする;および
−スタンピングによってインシュレーティング製品から切り取った試料に関するASTM C 686-71T規格に従った引張強さ。試料は、トーラス形状をしており、長さが122mm、幅が46mmであり、外縁での切片の曲率半径が38mmに等しく、内縁での切片の曲率半径が12.5mmに等しかった。
サイズ剤組成物を例2の条件下で調製したが、コーンスターチから得られたデキストリンをダイズ蛋白質水解物(Herculesから販売されているSoyad(登録商標) 12UT)で置換するように変更した。
Claims (30)
- 鉱物繊維用のサイズ剤組成物であって、
・フェノール−ホルムアルデヒド縮合物およびフェノールホルムアルデヒド−アミン縮合物を含んでなり、且つ尿素−ホルムアルデヒド縮合物を含まない液体フェノール樹脂組成物であって、当該液体の総重量に対して表わされる0.1%以下の遊離ホルムアルデヒド含量および7未満のpHを有する液体フェノール樹脂と、
・コーンスターチから得られたデキストリンおよびダイズ蛋白質水解物からなる群から選択される増量剤とを含有する組成物。 - 液体の総重量に対して表わされる遊離フェノール含有量が0.5%以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 液体の総重量に対して表わされる遊離フェノール含有量が0.4%以下であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記アミンが、アルカノールアミンまたは環状アミンであることを特徴とする請求項1ないし3の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記アミンが、モノエタノールアミンまたはジエタノールアミンであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の組成物。
- 前記樹脂は、遊離ホルムアルデヒド含有量が0.1%以下であり、遊離フェノール含有量が0.4%以下であり、20℃での希釈性が1000%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記樹脂は、20℃での希釈性が2000%以上であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 前記増量剤を構成するリグニン誘導体がリグノスルホン酸塩であり、また前記植物性の蛋白質がダイズ蛋白質であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 前記リグニンスルホン酸塩が、リグノスルホン酸アンモニウム(ALS)またはリグノスルホン酸ナトリウムであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の組成物。
- 前記炭水化物が、単糖類、少糖類、加工または未加工の澱粉、セルロース、ガム、および多糖類から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし9の何れか1項に記載の組成物。。
- 前記単糖類が、エリトロース、トレオース、リボース、アラビノース、キシロース、リキソース、グルコース、アロース、アルトロース、マンノース、グロース、イドース、ガラクトース、タロース、プシコース、フルクトース、ソルボースおよびタガトースからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 前記少糖類が、ラクトース、マルトース、スクロース、セロビオース、トレハロース、ラフィノース、ゲンチアノース、メリビオースおよびスタキオースからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 前記ガムが、グアーガムおよびキサンタンガムからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 前記多糖類が、アルギナートおよびペクチンからなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の組成物。
- 更に、100乾燥重量部の樹脂および尿素によって構成される混合物当たり、0ないし40部の尿素を含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし14の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 増量剤の含有量は、100乾燥重量部の液体樹脂当たり0.1ないし40部で変化することを特徴とする請求項1ないし15の何れか1項に記載の組成物。
- 増量剤の含有量は、100乾燥重量部の液体樹脂当たり20部以下であることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の組成物。
- 増量剤の含有量は、100乾燥重量部の液体樹脂当たり3ないし20部であることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の組成物。
- 増量剤の含有量は、100乾燥重量部の液体樹脂当たり15部以下であることを特徴とする請求項18に記載の組成物。
- 100乾燥重量部の液体樹脂当たり、以下の添加剤を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1ないし19の何れか1項に記載の組成物:
−0ないし10部の重縮合触媒;
−0ないし2部のシラン;
−0ないし20部のオイル;および
−0ないし20部未満のアンモニア水溶液(20重量%溶液)。 - 前記触媒が硫酸アンモニウムであることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の組成物。
- 前記触媒の量が7部未満であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の組成物。
- 前記シランがアミノシランであることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の組成物。
- 前記オイルの量が6ないし15部であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の組成物。
- 前記アンモニア水溶液の量が12部未満であることを特徴とする請求項20に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1ないし25の何れか1項に記載されたサイズ剤組成物によってサイジングされた鉱物繊維を含むインシュレーション製品。
- 断熱および/防音製品であることを特徴とする、請求項26に記載のインシュレーション製品。
- 前記鉱物繊維がガラス繊維または岩石繊維であることを特徴とする請求項26または27に記載の製品。
- 請求項1ないし25の何れか1項に記載のサイズ剤組成物の使用であって、鉱物繊維をベースとしたインシュレーティング製品の製造のための使用。
- 前記鉱物繊維が、ガラス繊維または岩石繊維であることを特徴とする請求項29に記載の使用。
