図8には、パネルユニット10を連結し、さらにパネルユニット10間のスペースに空隙用パネル40を埋めることで形成された天井パネル構造100の一例を示す。本実施形態に係るパネルユニット10は、パネルユニット10の数及び配置を変更することで、多様な形状の天井パネルを構成することができる。また、本実施形態に係るパネルユニット10を用いた天井の施工工法によれば、各パネルユニット10をスラブ下面に吊り下げ、パネルユニット10同士を連結アタッチメント30で固定し、空隙用パネル40を設置するという工程で天井を施工することができるため、従来のように吊りボルトに下地を取り付け、下地に仕上げ材を取り付ける工程を行う必要がなくなり、施工工程の作業量を低減することができる。また、本実施形態に係るパネルユニット10には、パネルユニット10同士の連結機能を兼ねた防水型の配管ラック14が一体に構成されているため、配管ラック14を別途構成する場合に比べて施工工程を減らし、さらにはコストも削減できる。そして、本実施形態に係るパネルユニット10間の連結部は防水性能が確保されるため、別途防水対策を行う必要がなくなり、施工工程及びコストを低減することができる。
