Description
心拍変動(HRV)は、心拍におけるビートトゥビート変動を参照する。休息状態下において、健常な人の心拍は、周期的変化を示す。呼吸洞不整脈(RSA)として知られるこの周期的現象は、呼吸の位相と共に変動する。吸気の間の心加速(cardio-acceleration)及び呼気の間の心減速(cardio-deceleration)がある。このように、心拍は、休息状態下にある人の呼吸活動と同期化する傾向がある。従って、心拍の変動から呼吸周波数を得ることが可能である。
心拍要素が呼吸レート要素から分離されると、図5a及び図5bに示されるように、2つの要素間のコヒーレンス度が決定される。N個のサンプルのセグメントが両方の要素からとられ、
という計算が適用される。
コヒーレンス度を決定した後、この度合は、図6に示されるように光パターンのスペクトル、速度及び輝度に変換される。人のリラクゼーション状態を改善するよう、照明は落とされることになり、光カラーは暖かい色調の方へ修正される。同様に、心拍と呼吸レートとの間のコヒーレンス度が高くなるにつれ、光パターンにおける移動物体の速度は減らされる。この正のフィードバックは、睡眠に戻るための非常に効果的処置を生じさせる。
一般に、リラクゼーションレベルの増加を目的とするすべての呼吸技術は、深い及びゆっくりした呼吸を定める。従って、呼吸パターンのマクロ構造に関して、図7に示されるように、任意のリラクゼーション運動の間、呼吸サイクルの周波数を時間に対してゆっくり減少させること、及びサイクルの持続時間を長くすることが提案される。
Claims (11)
- 被験者を睡眠に誘導するシステムであって、
被験者の心拍及び呼吸レートを監視するモニタと、
前記心拍及び前記呼吸レートの間のコヒーレンス度を評価する、前記モニタに結合されるコヒーレンス評価デバイスと、
前記被験者を睡眠に誘導するため、前記コヒーレンス度に基づき出力を生成する、前記コヒーレンス評価デバイスに結合される出力デバイスとを有する、システム。 - 前記出力デバイスが、前記コヒーレンス度に基づき前記被験者の視野に光パターンを生成する、前記コヒーレンス評価デバイスに結合される光パターン生成器を有し、前記光パターンは、前記被験者を睡眠に誘導することが可能なものである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記モニタが、
前記被験者の胸部の下に目立たないよう構成されるセンサであって、前記センサが、機械的なインパクト及び前記胸部の変形により生成される信号を感知するよう構成され、前記機械的なインパクトは、鼓動により作成され、前記胸部の変形が、呼吸が原因によるものである、センサと、
前記センサから前記信号を受信し、前記被験者の前記心拍及び前記呼吸レートを抽出するよう構成される処理ユニットとを有する、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記センサが、フェロエレクトレット箔又は圧電性箔である、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記光パターンが、異なる形状、カラー、位置、速度及び光強度を持つオブジェクトを備えるシーケンスを有する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記光パターンオブジェクトが、コヒーレンス度が低い場合、より明るく、より大きくなり、より速く移動する一方、コヒーレンス度が高い場合、より淡く、より小さくなり、よりゆっくり移動する、請求項2に記載のシステム。
- 前記出力デバイスが、呼吸パターンに関して前記被験者に指示を与える指示システムを有し、前記指示は、前記コヒーレンス度に基づき与えられる、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸指示が、フェロエレクトレット箔又は圧電性箔を有する機械的な作用部により生成される、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 被験者を睡眠に誘導する方法において、
i.前記被験者の心拍及び呼吸レートを測定するステップと、
ii.前記心拍及び前記呼吸レートの間のコヒーレンス度を評価するステップと、
iii.前記コヒーレンス度に基づき出力を生成するステップと、
iv.複数の時間間隔で前記ステップiからiiiを繰り返すステップとを有する、方法。 - 前記出力が、前記被験者の視野における光パターンである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記出力が、前記コヒーレンス度に基づかれる呼吸指示を有する、請求項9に記載の方法。
