Description
The present invention relates to a battery pack incorporating a plurality of batteries.
For applications that require a large current for driving, such as electric bicycles and assist bicycles, battery packs that have a plurality of battery cells and have a higher voltage are used. In such a battery pack, in order to arrange many battery cells side by side efficiently, a battery holder having a storage space for storing the battery cells is used. The battery holder accommodates the battery cell and fixes the lead plate by spot welding or the like with the end face of the battery cell exposed.
On the other hand, in battery packs that use multiple battery cells, in order to use the battery cells stably, the intermediate potential of the multiple battery cells that make up the battery pack is measured, and this is monitored while monitoring with a protection circuit. Sometimes processing such as stopping charging and discharging is performed. A lead plate is generally used for detecting the intermediate potential. Specifically, the lead plate is connected to the protection circuit by a lead wire or the like, and the potential of the lead plate is detected to obtain the intermediate potential of the battery cell. In such a configuration, it is necessary to draw out lead wires from a plurality of lead plates and connect them to a protection circuit. In particular, as the number of battery cells used in the core pack constituting the battery pack increases, the number of places where lead wires are drawn out increases. As lead wire connections increase, the possibility of poor contact also increases. In particular, since the lead wires have flexibility, for example, the lead wires may cross each other, or may be rubbed against the battery holder due to vibration or the like, so that the lead wires are exposed and may be in contact with or disconnected from the conductive portion. Alternatively, when the core pack is to be stored in the outer case that stores the core pack of the battery pack, there is a possibility that the lead wire bites into the case.
In order to avoid such a problem, it is necessary to have a structure such as shortening the wiring distance by the lead wire as much as possible or holding the lead wire so as not to move inside the storage case of the battery pack. In order to reduce the possibility of such contact failure due to the wiring of the lead wire, the present applicant has developed a configuration in which the lead plate and the protection circuit are connected using a lead wire that is a metal wire. This example is shown in FIGS. In these drawings, FIG. 21 is a perspective view of the
However, in the above configuration, the
The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional background, and a main object of the present invention is to provide a battery pack having improved connection reliability between a lead plate and a circuit board.
In order to achieve the above object, according to the battery pack of the first aspect of the present invention, the
Further, according to the battery pack of the second aspect of the present invention, the bent piece is arranged along the longitudinal direction of the
Furthermore, according to the battery pack of the third aspect of the present invention, the
Furthermore, according to the battery pack of the fourth aspect of the present invention, the
Furthermore, according to the battery pack of the fifth aspect of the present invention, each
Still further, according to the battery pack of the sixth aspect of the present invention, the
Furthermore, according to the battery pack of the seventh aspect of the present invention, the

(Outer case 10)
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 3, the
(Core pack 20)
The
(Battery block 21)
As shown in the exploded perspective views of FIGS. 8 and 9 and the exploded perspective view of FIG. 10, each
As described above, each
(Holding member 27)
Further, each split holder has a
In the example of FIG. 10 and the like, each
In addition, this example is an example and it cannot be overemphasized that arbitrary forms can be utilized about the number of battery cells used, arrangement | positioning form, etc. FIG. For example, the battery cells arranged on the upper surface may have an offset arrangement in which the lower surface and the center position are eccentric. Each divided holder is preferably formed by integral molding. For example, it is made of resin such as polypropylene having excellent insulating properties. Further, the divided holders are fixed by a method such as screwing.
(Battery cell 26)
The
(Lead plate 40)
As shown in FIG. 9, the end electrodes 1 </ b> A on both sides of the
In order to hold each
(Connection terminal part 41)
Each
The
(Terminal protrusion 25)
Moreover, as shown in FIG. 12 etc., the
(Folded piece)
Furthermore, as shown in FIGS. 11, 13, 14, and 15, the
(Locking slit 43)
Further, a locking slit 43 is formed at the tip of the bent piece. The locking slit 43 is formed on the side surface near the tip of the bent piece so as to be inclined downward. As a result, the tip of the

However, it goes without saying that two types of lead wires are prepared and connected. Such a configuration is shown as a modification in the perspective view of the
Since the
In addition, by bending the
Further, by bending the
In addition, by making the bent piece in an oblique posture, there is also an advantage that the positions of the bent piece locking slit 43 and the
As described above, the
As a method of making the lead plate and the lead wire face each other in parallel rather than orthogonally, the lead wire protrudes from the side surface of the circuit board in the vertical direction as in the conventional method, and the lead plate side is bent toward the lead wire. Although a configuration is also conceivable, in this configuration, it is necessary to bend the lead plate so that if the twist is applied to the lead plate, the welding between the lead plate and the battery cell end surface is released. In addition, it is not preferable from the viewpoint of strength of the lead plate. On the other hand, by projecting the
Further, the position where the
(Hinge member 24)
Further, the lead plate is also used as the
Further, as shown in FIGS. 8 and 9, etc., the
(Circuit board 30)
The
In addition, a control circuit that controls discharge or charge / discharge of the
(Lead wire 50)
4 to 9, in order to connect the
Furthermore, in order to detect not only the potential of the entire core pack but also the intermediate potential as described above, each
(
As shown in FIG. 18A, the shape of the
(Wire fixing region 32)
The
The convex
In addition, although the convex shape which forms the wire fixing area |
As shown in FIGS. 4 to 9, the
(Connection procedure)
The
(1) As shown in FIG. 15, the
(2) As shown in FIG. 14, the battery blocks 21 are connected together to form the
(3) From the state of FIG. 13, each
The above is a description of the connection state at the portion where the two
