Description
本出願は2008年8月13日に提出された米国仮出願第61/088,720号「オーム液体加熱(Ohmic Liquid Heating)」を参照し組み込み、その恩恵を主張する。また本出願は2009年5月16日に提出された米国仮出願第61/178,970号「連続的なオーム給湯機能を備えた食品スチーマー容器(Food Steamer Containers with Sequential Ohmic Water Heating)」を参照し組み込み、その恩恵を主張する。本出願は、2009年8月13日に提出された米国出願第__号、代理人整理番号221−003号「連続的なオーム給湯機能を備えた食品スチーマー容器(Food Steamer Containers with Sequential Ohmic Water Heating)」(「221−003号出願」)と関連し、参照し組み込む。
本発明は液体加熱方法も提供する。この方法は電極が入っているタンクを提供するステップ;電極の間に導電液体を流動させるステップ;導電液体の導電率を調節するシステムを提供するステップ;電極の間の導電液体に電流を流すステップ;電流を検出するステップ;および導電液体の導電率を自動で調節して所望の電流を得るステップ;を含む。
また、本発明は複数のタンク区間、入口、出口、電極および隔壁を有する液体加熱装置も提供する。液体と電極がタンク区間に入っていて、液体は電極の間で電流を通過させる導電率を有し、隔壁はタンク区間の間にある。
本発明の他の液体加熱方法は電極が入っているタンクと液体を提供するステップ;電極の間に液体を流動させるステップ;電極の間に電圧を供給し、電極の間の液体に電流を流すステップ;および電圧変化なしで電流だけを調節して設定電流を提供するステップ;を含む。
通常閉じている電流検知スイッチ42は過電流安全装置のように動作して電流検知スイッチ36と直列連結され、過電流に対する安全措置をする。電流が設定値、例えば38アンペアを超過すれば、電流検知スイッチ42が開かれてポンプ41が止まり、タンク(20、20’)への電解質26の流入も止まる。電流が38アンペア以下に落ちれば、通常閉じている電流検知スイッチ42が閉じられ、32アンペア以下に落ちれば、スイッチ(42、36)が2つとも閉じられ、ポンプ41がポンピングを再開して電解質26がタンク22aに流入され、電流を再度32アンペアの範囲に高める。
添付の図面と関連して、本開示の方法および装置が説明されたが、多用な変更が添付の特許範囲の請求に定義されるような本発明の精神および範囲を逸脱することなく可能である。
Claims (20)
- 導電液体と電極が入っていて、前記電極は前記導電液体に電流を供給するように連結されたタンク;
前記タンクに電解質を供給するようにスイッチング可能に連結された電解質供給源;
前記導電液体において消費される電気エネルギーの変数を決定するための電気変数検知スイッチ;および
前記電気変数検知スイッチが設定値とは異なる電気変数を検知する時に前記導電液体に電解質を自動で添加するように連結されたコントローラ;を含むことを特徴とする液体加熱装置。 - 前記変数が電流であり、前記電気変数検知スイッチが電流を検知し、前記電気変数検知スイッチが、前記電流が設定値未満であることを検知すれば、前記コントローラが前記導電液体に前記電解質を自動で添加することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液体加熱装置。
- 前記電流を供給するための電源をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の液体加熱装置。
- 前記電解質を前記タンクに供給するための機構をさらに含み、前記コントローラは前記電解質を前記導電液体に自動で添加するように前記機構に連結されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液体加熱装置。

d.前記電圧変化なしで前記電流だけを調節して設定電流を提供するステップ;を含み、
前記液体に電解質を添加して前記液体の導電率を自動で調節して、前記予め設定した電流を提供することをさらに含むことを特徴とする液体加熱方法。 - 壁面コンセントライン電圧と壁面コンセント最大電流を有する壁面コンセント回路を介して電力を供給し、前記電圧が前記壁面コンセントライン電圧と等しく、前記電流は前記壁面コンセント最大電流の60%以上であることを特徴とする、請求項19に記載の液体加熱方法。
