Claims (22)
- 骨を治療するための拡張可能なインプラントを形成するキットであって、このキットが、
コア要素であって、長手軸線を有している上記コア要素と、
複数のスリーブであって、コア要素を中心として放射状に配置され、複数のスリーブはコア要素のまわりに逐次的に挿入可能であり、それぞれの逐次的に挿入されるスリーブは、コア要素と既に挿入されたスリーブとの間に受け入れられ、それぞれの追加的なスリーブの挿入によって、それぞれの既に挿入されたスリーブを外方向へ拡張させる、上記複数のスリーブと、を備え、
コア要素とスリーブの各々は、突起部及び凹部のうち少なくとも1つを備え、上記スリーブが互いに及び上記コア要素と嵌合することを特徴とするキット。 - コア要素は、円筒形の形状になっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキット。
- スリーブは、中空管であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキット。
- 前記キットがさらに、拡張可能な膜を備え、拡張可能なスリーブに対して放射方向の圧縮を提供することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のキット。
- スリーブは、リブとスペーサとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキット。
- スリーブは、単一部品の一体的ユニットであって、リブとスペーサとの間に可撓性の支柱を備えて形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のキット。
- スリーブは、拡張した状態で少なくとも1つの平坦面又は側面を形成することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキット。
- スリーブは、円筒形に設けられ、非円筒形の形状まで拡張可能になっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキット。
- スリーブの各々は、突起部及び凹部を備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のキット。
- 骨を治療するシステムであって、このシステムが、
コア要素であって、近位端と、遠位端と、長手軸線と、近位端に設けられた、挿入器具係合部と、を有している上記コア要素と、
挿入器具であって、カニューレバレルと、カニューレバレルの内部に配置されたロッド要素とを備え、ロッド要素はさらに、遠位端にコア要素係合部を具備している、上記挿入器具と、
複数の拡張可能及び入子可能なスリーブ要素であって、端部と端部とを突き合わせにした態様にて、ロッド要素に沿って、カニューレバレルの内部に配置されるように構成されて適合している、上記スリーブ要素と、を備え、
コア要素の近位端における挿入器具係合部は、ロッド要素の遠位端におけるコア要素係合部と係合可能になっており、
上記コア要素とスリーブの各々は、突起部及び凹部のうち少なくとも1つを備え、拡張可能なスリーブ要素がカニューレバレルの中から、ロッド要素に沿って、コア要素のまわりを前進するときに、上記スリーブが互いに及び上記コア要素と嵌合し、
少なくとも1つの追加的拡張可能なスリーブ要素を前進させ、カニューレバレルの中から、ロッド要素に沿って、及びコア要素と既に挿入された拡張可能なスリーブ要素との間に前進させることで、既に挿入されたスリーブ要素の放射方向の拡張を引き起こし、それぞれの追加的なスリーブ要素がコア要素を中心として適用されると共に、インプラントの半径が拡張することを特徴とするシステム。 - スリーブ要素は、端部と端部とを突き合わせた態様にて、ロッド要素に沿って、カニューレバレルの内部に事前装填されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。
- スリーブ要素は、拡張可能な状態と拡張不能な状態とを有し、拡張不能な状態においては、スリーブ要素は、円筒形の形状であり、拡張可能な状態においては、スリーブは、非円筒形の形状になっていることを特徴とする請求項11に記載のシステム。
- スリーブ要素は、リブとスペーサとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のシステム。
- スリーブ要素は、単一部品の一体的ユニットであって、リブ及びスペーサを結合する可撓性支柱を備えていることを特徴とする請求項13に記載のシステム。
- リブとスペーサとは、少なくとも1つの弾性膜によって結合されていることを特徴とする請求項12に記載のシステム。
- スリーブ要素は、スリーブ要素が互いの上に積み重ねられたとき、互いに嵌合できることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。
- スリーブ要素は、凹部と突起部とを備え、他のスリーブ要素又はコア要素の凹部及び突起部に対して嵌合することを特徴とする請求項16に記載のシステム。
- コア要素は、4mmから8mmの直径と、1.5cmから2.5cmの長さとを有し、スリーブ要素は、4mmから8mmの内径と、1.5cmから2.5cmの長さと、1mmから2mmの厚みとを有していることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。
- スリーブ要素は、放射方向に拡張しない状態の時にコア要素に比べて小さい内径を有し、コア要素長さに比べて短い長さを有していることを特徴とする請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムがさらに、コア要素に取付可能なキャップを備えていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のシステム。
- コア要素は、内部凹部を有し、端部キャップは突起部を有し、これが内部凹部の中に嵌合することを特徴とする請求項20に記載のシステム。

コア要素と、
複数の入子式スリーブであって、コア要素を中心として放射方向に配置され、スリーブは、それに隣接するスリーブから放射方向外方に配置され、隣接するスリーブに比べて大きく延び、隣接するスリーブに対して連結して、段差状に増加する拡張可能なインプラントを形成する、上記入子式スリーブと、を備え、
インプラントは、コア要素のまわりに既に配置されたスリーブの下にスリーブを逐次的に挿入することで形成され、インプラントは、それぞれの追加的なスリーブとして拡張して、コア要素のまわりで適用され、スリーブとコア要素は、少なくとも1つの突起部及び凹部を有し、スリーブは互いに及びコア要素と嵌合することを特徴とする拡張可能なインプラント。
