Description
燃料電池を組立てる際の取り扱い、特に衝撃に比較的脆い。更に、上述した可撓性のグラファイト材料から形成される層は、工業的なプロセスにおいては最も取り扱いにくい。これらは全て、この種のバイポーラプレートの製造価格を非常に高くしている。
構造的支持体110A及び構造的支持体120Aは、射出ヘッド41とカウンタ−モールド44との間に取付けられる。これら構造的支持体110A及び120Aは各々、分配プレートの一部、すなわち、第1の分配プレート11A及び第2の分配プレート12Aを形成する。第1の典型的な実施例に関して既に説明されたように、第2の分配プレート12Aは、第2の分配プレート12Aの動作区画S全体に、燃料電池の温度を制御するために使用される冷却剤を分布させるようにレイアウトされている内部チャネル122Aを有している。これら2つの変形例に共通している実施例の全ての詳細は、本明細書において既に説明してあるので、ここでの説明の繰り返しは省略する。
Claims (10)
- 燃料電池で使用されるガスの内の一方のガスを拡散させるための膜と接触するようになされている第1の面(11l)と、その第1の面(11)と反対側の第2の面(11r)と、所与の厚さを有しており、イオン交換膜に向かい合うように配置されるようになされている動作区画(S)を更に有しており、前記第1の面には、前記ガスの内の一方のガスのための第1の分配チャネル(111)を形成する溝が設けられており、前記第1の分配チャネル(111)は、前記第1の面の前記動作区画全体にわたってほぼ分布している、分配プレート(11)であって、前記分配プレートは、少なくとも表面が非導電性であり少なくとも表面が化学的に不活性である構造的支持体から形成されており、前記分配プレートは、前記構造的支持体を貫通する複数のピン(10)を有しており、前記第1の面を通る前記ピンの突出部分は、前記第1の分配チャネルを交叉することはなく、前記ピンは、導電性の非金属材料からつくられ、前記分配プレートは、その厚さ内部に内部チャネル(122)を有しており、前記内部チャネルは、前記動作区画全体に広がるようにレイアウトされており、前記動作区画内においては前記第1の面にも前記第2の面にも突出しておらず、前記ピンは前記動作区画全体に分布し且つ前記内部チャネルと交叉することなく、前記内部チャネルは、冷却剤の循環のために設けられていることを特徴とする分配プレート。
- 前記ピンは、グラファイトと、カーボンブラックが混ぜられているポリマーと、カーボンブラックファイバで混ぜられているポリマーとからなるグループから選択された材料からつくられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記構造的支持体は非導電性材料からつくられていることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記構造的支持体の材料はプラスチックであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記構造的支持体材料は、表面が不動態化処理されたアルミニウムであることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記ピンは、射出成形可能な材料からつくられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記ピンは、射出成形可能な材料からつくられており、当該分配プレートは、前記非導電性の構造的支持体の表面に、前記ピンと同じ材料でつくられた表面層を有しており、前記ピンが前記構造的支持体を貫通し前記表面層と接することにより、前記第1の分配チャネルの底は、前記構造的支持体の表面によって形成され、前記第1の分配チャネルの側面は、前記表面層によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記ピン(10)の両端は、前記動作区間内の前記第1の面及び前記第2の面の各々から突出していることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6の何れか1項に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記分配プレートはバイポーラプレート(1)を構成しており、前記第2の面(11r)は、燃料電池で使用されるガスの内の他方のガスを拡散させるための膜と接触するようになされており、前記第2の面には、前記ガスの内の他方のガスのための第2の分配チャネル(121)を形成する溝が設けられており、前記第2の分配チャネルは、前記動作区画全体にわたってほぼ分布していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の分配プレート。
- 前記分配プレートは、厚さ方向に互いに重ね合わされ第1の分配プレート(11)と第2の分配プレート(12)とを有しており、前記第1のチャネル(111)は前記第1の分配プレート上にレイアウトされており、前記内部チャネル(122)は前記第2の分配プレート(12)の第1の面(12l)上にレイアウトされており、第2の分配チャネル(121)は前記第2の分配プレート(12)の第2の面(12r)上にレイアウトされていることを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載の分配プレート。
