Description
前記排気マフラー100は、排気パイプ110の途中にチャンバー120が設けられ、該チャンバー120内で排気パイプ110の径を大径から小径に変更すると共に、大径排気パイプ111からチャンバー120内に排気ガスが拡散するように多数の拡散用孔112を大径排気パイプ111に開穿し、このチャンバー120内に拡散した排気ガスが再び圧縮されて小径排気パイプ115内に流入される流入孔116を小径排気パイプ115に多数開穿し、チャンバー120内の排気脈動に伴って生じる衝撃波を有効利用する省エネ型排気マフラーである

Claims (2)
- 排気ガスの排気脈動に伴って生じる衝撃波を有効利用する省エネ型排気マフラーの排気端部に連結されるスパイラルテールにおいて、排気マフラーの排気端部に連結される連結端部から排出口に至る径が漸次大径となるテーパー筒状のテールパイプを形成し、該テールパイプの内周面に、複数のフィンを同一方向に捩れた状態に配設し、排気マフラーの排気ガスがテールパイプを通過するときに、フィンに誘導されて略螺旋状に旋回しながら漸次大径となる排出口から大気へ排出されるようにテールパイプが構成され、
前記排気マフラーは、排気パイプの途中にチャンバーが設けられ、該チャンバー内で排気パイプの径を大径から小径に変更すると共に、大径排気パイプからチャンバー内に排気ガスが拡散するように多数の拡散用孔を大径排気パイプに開穿し、このチャンバー内に拡散した排気ガスが再び圧縮されて小径排気パイプ内に流入される流入孔を小径排気パイプに多数開穿し、チャンバー内の排気脈動に伴って生じる衝撃波を有効利用する省エネ型排気マフラーであることを特徴とする省エネ型排気マフラー用スパイラルテール。 - 車両用排気マフラーの排気端部に連結される連結端部から排出口に至る径が漸次大径となるテーパー筒状のテールパイプを形成し、該テールパイプの内周面に、複数のフィンを同一方向に捩れた状態に配設したスパイラルテールの使用方法において、前記排気マフラーは、排気パイプの途中にチャンバーが設けられ、該チャンバー内で排気パイプの径を大径から小径に変更すると共に、大径排気パイプからチャンバー内に排気ガスが拡散するように多数の拡散用孔を大径排気パイプに開穿し、このチャンバー内に拡散した排気ガスが再び圧縮されて小径排気パイプ内に流入される流入孔を小径排気パイプに多数開穿してチャンバー内の排気脈動に伴って生じる衝撃波を有効利用する省エネ型排気マフラーとし、該省エネ型排気マフラーの排気端部にスパイラルテールを連結し、排気ガスを大気中に放出するときの脈動波を抑止することを特徴とする省エネ型排気マフラー用スパイラルテールの使用方法。
