Description
1.充填する電池上の所定の高さに取り付けられたタンクから落ちて来る水を用いる方法。タンクの流出口は、クイック継手を用いて、電池の表面に取り付けられた充填システムと接続されており、そこに配備されている補充プラグは、バルブ・フロート機構により電池ユニットへの水の供給を制御している。
2.多くの場合、約12ボルトの低電圧のモータによって駆動されるポンプを用いて、タンクから約0.5〜1.0バールの圧力で水を供給する方法。ポンプの流出口は、クイック継手を用いて、電池の表面に取り付けられた充填システムと接続されている。この場合も、そこに配備されている補充プラグは、バルブ・フロート機構により電池ユニットへの水の供給を制御している。
3.公共水道網からの水道水を用いる方法。この場合、公共水道網からの通常の約4バールの水圧が、充填圧力として使用され、イオン交換器を用いて水を事前に処理した後、クイック継手を用いて、電池の表面に取り付けられた充填システムと接続されている。そこの充填プラグが、バルブ・フロート機構により電池ユニットへの水の供給を制御している。
Claims (3)
- 円筒形のプラグ筐体(12)を備えた、電池ユニットを自動的に充填するための水補充プラグであって、円筒形のプラグ筐体が、この筐体(12)に水を供給するための接続ソケット(26)とフロートによって操作されるバルブとを有し、このバルブが、リング形の弁体(38)と円錐形の弁座(42)を備えており、給水路(34)と電池ユニットに通じる排水路(68)との間に配置されている、水補充プラグにおいて、
プラグ筐体(12)内には、内部筐体(22)が収容され、その内部筐体(22)内の中心に形成されたバルブ円筒体(36)が、その中心に軸支された垂直に移動可能な弁体(38)を収容し、リング形の給水路(34)は、そのバルブ円筒体(36)の外部側に形成され、リング形の弁体(38)は、上方に開いた杯の形をしており、バルブを閉じた状態では、円錐形の弁座(42)上に載っており、
リング形の給水路(34)と円錐形の弁座(42)との間に、渦を発生させる偏向水路(64)が、バルブ円筒体(36)に半径方向に対して斜め下に延びる形で穿孔して作られており、バルブが開いている場合、リング形の給水路(34)から流入した水が、傾斜した形で延びる偏向水路(64)を通って、弁座(42)の上のバルブ円筒体(36)の内部空間(66)にほぼ接線方向に向かって合流し、そこから、排水路(68)を経由して電池ユニットに流れ、電池ユニット内の水が所要の充填状態に達した場合、フロートにより弁体(38)が下方に引き下ろされ、それにより、偏向水路(64)を経由して渦を巻いて流入していた水が、弁体(38)の上側に達して、弁体(38)の閉鎖位置にまで弁体(38)を弁座(42)に押し付けることを特徴とする水補充プラグ。 - 弁体(38)が、吊り下げられた形で取り付けられるとともに、垂直なシャフト(40)の上端に形成されており、そのシャフトの下端が、傾斜レバー(44)を介して、筐体(12)内の中心を垂直にスライド可能な形で軸支されているフロートロッド(48)と接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の水補充プラグ。
- リング形の給水路(34)が、バルブ円筒体(36)に形成されており、前室(32)を経由して接続ソケット(26)と繋がっていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の水補充プラグ。
