Description
本発明の光学フィルムの製造方法において、好ましくは、前記接合部が熱融着により形成される。
29%より大きくなると、延伸時にフィルムが破断するおそれがあり、0.01%より小さくなると、実質的に円弧状切断の効果が発揮できないからである。
複数の槽に通す浸漬工程の処理等が実施される。同時に、ニップローラ39aにより延伸
処理が施され、フィルム36aの移動経路が複数のガイドローラ39bで規制される。
以下、本発明の具体的実施例を挙げ、本発明をより詳細に説明する。
Claims (7)
- 第一のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムの後端と第二のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムの先端とを接合して、延伸方向と直交する方向となす接合角度が20°以上60°以下となるよう接合部を形成する工程と、
前記第一のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムに続けて前記第二のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムを送り出す工程と、
接合された前記第一のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムと前記第二のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムを連続して搬送方向に3〜7.8倍に延伸する工程と、
を含む光学フィルムの製造方法であって、
前記延伸する工程の前に、前記接合部の両端を円弧状に切断する工程を有し、
前記接合部の両端を円弧状に切断する工程において、以下の式を満たす光学フィルムの製造方法。
0.01≦(1−(L/W0))×100≦29
(W0:切断前のフィルム幅方向長さ、L:切断後の接合部のフィルム幅方向成分の長さ) - 前記接合角度が30°以上60°以下である請求項1記載の光学フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記接合部が熱融着により形成される請求項1又は2記載の光学フィルムの製造方法。
- 前記接合部を形成する前に、前記第一のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムの後端と前記第二のポリビニルアルコール系フィルムの先端とを略同等の接合角度に裁断する工程をさらに含む請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の光学フィルムの製造方法。
- 請求項1〜4の何れか1項に記載の製造方法により製造された光学フィルム。
- 請求項5記載の光学フィルムを含む液晶表示装置。
- 請求項5記載の光学フィルムを含む画像表示装置。
