Description
The present invention relates to an operation confirmation apparatus and method for a latch-type electromagnetic valve, and an ink jet recording apparatus, and more particularly to a technique for detecting a failure in a latch-type electromagnetic valve that cannot maintain a state after excitation.
When driving an electromagnetic valve, it is known that a waveform distortion occurs in a drive current waveform due to a counter electromotive force. By observing this waveform distortion, abnormal operation of the electromagnetic valve is detected and the driving time is optimized.
For example, in
Moreover, in
Moreover, in patent document 3, the current integral value and average value of the rise at the time of electromagnetic valve drive are extracted as feature values, and the presence or absence of a failure of the electromagnetic valve is determined by comparing with the feature value during normal operation. .
In order to reduce power consumption, a latch-type electromagnetic valve configured to use a permanent magnet and maintain the state even when energization is stopped after an opening / closing operation is known. FIG. 9 is a diagram showing an internal configuration of the latch type electromagnetic valve.
FIG. 9A shows the closed state of the
When switching from the valve-closed state to the valve-opened state, the
FIG. 9B shows the open state of the
When the valve opening state is changed to the valve closing state again, the
Such a latch-type solenoid valve operates normally when the coil is energized (during excitation) due to functional failure due to foreign matter sticking, etc., but maintains the valve open state or valve closed state after excitation is completed. In some cases, a failure may occur and the state may return to the state before excitation.
However, in the techniques of

Hereinafter, preferred embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[Configuration of drive circuit]
FIG. 1 is a schematic configuration diagram of an operation confirmation device for a latch type electromagnetic valve to which the present invention is applied.
As shown in the figure, the
The
The
The
The
The
When the
The current flowing through the
[Drive waveform and current waveform]
2A shows the voltage applied to the
As shown in FIG. 2B, when the voltage of FIG. 2A is applied, the
2C shows the waveform of the current flowing through the
In this case, the
As described above, when the operation of the
Although the valve open state has been described here, the same applies when a voltage is applied to the
[First Embodiment]
FIG. 3A is a diagram showing a
3B and 3C show detection results of the
The
As shown in FIG. 3B, the
Further, the
The
Even if the
In this case, as shown in FIG. 3C, when the
There may also be a problem that the

Thus, by analyzing and determining the

Further, the

[Second Embodiment]
FIG. 4 is a schematic configuration diagram of an operation check apparatus according to the second embodiment. In addition, the same code | symbol is attached | subjected to the part which is common in the block diagram shown in FIG. 1, and the detailed description is abbreviate | omitted.
As shown in FIG. 4, the
Each of the valve drive drivers 58-1 to 58-n has one of the power supplies connected to the reference potential and the other connected in common, and the power supply of the
As in the first embodiment, only one
FIG. 5 is a diagram showing a
As shown in FIG. 5, the electromagnetic valves 10-1 to 10-n can be driven simultaneously. That is, by simultaneously outputting the
Next, the
The
Although the valve open state has been described here, the same applies to the inspection pulse in the valve closed state.
By sequentially outputting inspection pulses in this way, even when only one current detection circuit is provided, a plurality of electromagnetic valves can be inspected.
[Detection of defects due to voltage waveforms]
In the first and second embodiments, the
For example, like the
In this way, it is possible to inspect the
[Third Embodiment]
When a malfunction of the
For example, when a malfunction of the
There is a possibility that abnormal operation of the
In addition, when abnormality of the
In addition, when a malfunction of the
For example, as shown in FIG. 7B, the
Then, the
In this way, when an abnormality is detected in the inspection, the cause of the abnormality of the
Further, when a malfunction of the
For example, as shown in FIG. 7C, after outputting the
Here, the
As described above, when an abnormality is detected in the inspection, the cause of the abnormality of the

[Application example of electromagnetic valve inspection equipment]
FIG. 8 is a schematic diagram illustrating a configuration example of an ink supply system of the
As shown in FIG. 8, the ink supply system of the
The
The flow path 103 is provided with a main tank opening /
When the
Further, instead of the main tank opening /
The
An

The
The supply pump P1 adjusts the internal pressure of the
The
In this example, air is stored in the
The
The recovery pressure sensor S2 detects the internal pressure of the
One end of the second communication channel 160 is connected to the
The first
In this example, the first
In the second communication channel 160, a recovery pump P2 is provided between the
