式(6) CO + H2 + H2O → C2H5OH
従って、上記検討と同様で、この反応は、5.0〜0.2モルの水素に対して2.0と5.0モルの間の一酸化炭素という一酸化炭素(CO)対水素(H2)のモル比で起こる。例えば、1.0モルの水素に対して3.0と0.2モルの間の一酸化炭素に調整すると、生物触媒反応器からの、実際の実験的収率が100%でのエタノールの製造は、60,136 lbs/hrのエタノールであり、蒸留後は約80,120,000 gallons/yrである。
Claims (25)
- ガス流中の二酸化炭素の量を減少させる合成ガスの製造方法であって、
反応室を400℃と5000℃との間の温度及び1バール以上の圧力に維持すること、
前記反応室中に炭素質材料を供給すること、
前記反応室にH2Oを供給すること、
前記反応室に二酸化炭素(CO2)を含有するガス流を導入し、この二酸化炭素(CO 2 )の少なくとも一部が工業ガス流から得られたものであること、及び
ブードアール反応を含む化学反応によって、酸素の非存在下、前記ガス流中で前記炭素質材料、前記H2O、及び前記二酸化炭素(CO2)を反応させて前記CO2を減少させ、そして一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)を含有するガス(即ち、合成ガス)を形成し、その際前記炭素質材料及び前記H2Oの量を該炭素質材料の全てが消費されるように選択すること
を含む、前記方法。 - 前記反応室が熱分解反応器、通常のガス化装置、又はプラズマアークガス化装置の一つとして選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記反応室が熱分解反応器である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記炭素質材料がコークス、石炭、炭化水素、固形廃棄物、及び生物資源から成る群から選択される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 記前反応室中に反応体として供給された前記H2Oが水蒸気である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 該反応室が400℃と2000℃との間の温度に維持される、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記反応室が1330℃の温度に維持される、請求項6記載の方法。
- ブードアール反応が前記反応工程を構成する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記の一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)(即ち、合成ガス)を排出制御系に供給して、不純物を除去することにより前記合成ガスを清浄にする工程を更に含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記の清浄化合成ガスを水性ガス転化反応器に供給して、該一酸化炭素と水素のモル比を調整する、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記の清浄化合成ガスを水性ガス転化反応器に供給して、該一酸化炭素と水素のモル比を1.00の水素分子に対して0.20から5.00の間の一酸化炭素分子に調整する、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記のモル調整された一酸化炭素及び水素を生物触媒反応器に供給してエタノールを製造する、請求項10記載の方法。
- 前記の生物触媒反応器がフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成反応器である、請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記生物触媒反応器の生産物を別の生物触媒反応器に供給して更なるエタノールを提供する、請求項12記載の方法。
- 前記合成ガスを水性ガス転化反応器に供給して、該一酸化炭素と水素のモル比を、0.2から5.0の一酸化炭素分子(CO)と5.0から0.2の水素分子(H2)との間に調整することを更に含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 一酸化炭素及び水素を含む前記合成ガスを生物触媒反応器に供給してエタノールを製造する、請求項15記載の方法。
- 前記生物触媒反応器の生産物を別の生物触媒反応器に供給して更なるエタノールを製造する、請求項16記載の方法。
- 前記の生物触媒反応器がフィッシャー・トロプシュ合成反応器である、請求項16記載の方法。
- 合成ガスの製造方法であって、
反応室を400℃と5000℃との間の温度及び1バール以上の圧力に維持すること、
前記反応室中に炭素質材料を供給すること、
前記反応室にH2Oを供給すること、
前記反応室に二酸化炭素(CO2)を含有するガス流を導入し、この二酸化炭素(CO 2 )の少なくとも一部が工業ガス流から得られたものであること、
ブードアール反応を含む化学反応によって、酸素の非存在下、前記ガス流中で前記炭素質材料、前記H2O、及び前記二酸化炭素(CO2)を反応させて前記CO2を減少させ、そして一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)を含有する合成ガスを形成し、その際前記炭素質材料及び前記H2Oの量を該炭素質材料の全てが消費されるように選択すること、及び
一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)を含有する前記ガスを水性ガス転化反応器に供給して、該一酸化炭素と水素のモル比を、0.2から5.0の一酸化炭素分子(CO)と5.0から0.2の水素分子(H2)との間に調整すること
を含む、前記方法。 - 前記反応室が熱分解反応器である、請求項19記載の方法。
- 該反応室に供給された炭素質材料に対するH2Oのモル比率が少なくとも34.33%である、請求項1記載の方法。
- 該一酸化炭素と水素の比(CO/H2O)が0.2乃至3.0である、請求項11記載の方法。
- ガス流中の二酸化炭素の量を減少させる合成ガスの製造方法であって、
反応室を準備し、この反応室が、熱分解反応器、通常のガス化装置、又はプラズマアークガス化装置の一つとして選択されるものであること、
前記反応室中に炭素質材料を供給すること、
前記反応室にH2Oを供給すること、
前記反応室中に二酸化炭素(CO2)を含有するガス流を導入し、この二酸化炭素(CO 2 )の少なくとも一部が工業ガス流から得られたものであること、
前記反応室を1330℃と5000℃との間の温度及び1バール以上の圧力に維持し、この反応室中で、ブードアール反応を含む化学反応によって、酸素の非存在下、前記の供給された炭素質材料、前記の供給されたH2O及び前記の供給されたガス流中の二酸化炭素(CO2)から本質的になる材料を反応させて、一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)を含む前記合成ガスを形成し、ここで、前記の形成された合成ガス中のCO2の量が、前記のガス流中に供給されたCO2の量より少なくとも53%少ないこと、及び、
前記の形成された合成ガスを排出すること
を含み、
前記炭素質材料及び前記H 2 Oの量を、該炭素質材料の全てが消費されるように選択する前記方法。 - ガス流中の二酸化炭素の量を減少させる合成ガスの製造方法であって、
反応室を準備すること、
前記反応室中に炭素質材料を供給すること、
前記反応室にH2Oを供給すること、
前記反応室に二酸化炭素(CO2)を含有するガス流を導入し、この二酸化炭素(CO 2 )の少なくとも一部が工業ガス流から得られたものであること、
前記反応室を400℃と5000℃との間の温度及び1バール以上の圧力に維持し、この反応室中で、ブードアール反応を含む化学反応によって、酸素の非存在下、前記の供給された炭素質材料、前記のH2O及び前記のガス流中の二酸化炭素(CO2)から本質的になる材料を反応させて、前記CO2を減少させ、一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)を含む前記合成ガスを形成し、ここで、前記の反応室に提供された炭素質材料の消費量に対するH2Oの消費量のモル比が34.3%であり、この形成された合成ガス中のCO2の量が、前記のガス流中に供給されたCO2の量より少ないこと、及び、
前記の形成された合成ガスを排出すること
を含み、
前記炭素質材料及び前記H 2 Oの量を、該炭素質材料の全てが消費されるように選択する前記方法。 - ガス流中の二酸化炭素の量を減少させる合成ガスの製造方法であって、
反応室を準備すること、
前記反応室中に炭素質材料を供給すること、
前記反応室にH2Oを供給すること、
前記反応室に二酸化炭素(CO2)を含有するガス流を導入し、この二酸化炭素(CO 2 )の少なくとも一部が工業ガス流から得られたものであること、
前記反応室を400℃と5000℃との間の温度及び1バール以上の圧力に維持し、この反応室中で、ブードアール反応を含む化学反応によって、酸素の非存在下、前記の供給された炭素質材料、前記のH2O及び前記のガス流由来の二酸化炭素(CO2)から本質的になる材料を反応させて、前記CO2を減少させ、前記合成ガスの生産物を形成し、この合成ガス生産物は本質的に、二酸化炭素(CO2)、窒素(N2)、一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)からなること、
前記の形成された合成ガス生産物を排出すること、及び、
一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)を含む前記合成ガスを水性ガス転化反応器に提供し、一酸化炭素(CO)及び水素(H2)のモル比を、0.2〜5.0分子の一酸化炭素(CO)及び5.0〜0.2分子の水素(H2)の間に調整すること
を含み、
前記炭素質材料及び前記H 2 Oの量を、該炭素質材料の全てが消費されるように選択する前記方法。
