Description
本発明の開示は、概して坑井ボア(wellbore)を保全することに関する。より具体的には、本発明の開示は、凝固(set)遅延剤を含むカルシウムアルミナ(calcium alumina)セメントを用いて坑井ボアを保全すること、該組成物の製造及び使用方法に関する。
地下の地層、又は地下圏に存在するガス、石油、及び水などの天然資源は、通常、坑井ボアに掘削流体を循環させながら、坑井ボアを地下の地層まで掘削することによって回収される。掘削流体の循環を終了させた後、例えばケーシングなどのパイプストリングが坑井ボア内に通される。その後通常、そのパイプの内側を通して下方に、パイプの外側と坑井ボアの壁との間に位置する環状空間を通して上方に、掘削流体を循環させる。次に、一般的に1次セメンチングを行い、それによってセメントスラリーを環状空間内に配置し、かつ硬質マス(すなわち鞘部)へと硬化させ、その結果、パイプストリングを坑井ボアの壁に接着させ、かつ環状空間を封止する。それに続く2次セメンチング作業もまた行うことができる。
本発明の一態様によれば、アルミン酸カルシウムセメント、水、ポリリン酸塩、ポゾラン及び凝固遅延剤を含む組成物であって、前記凝固遅延剤がハロゲン化アルカリ及び塩基性リン酸塩を含む組成物が提供される。
最初に、1以上の実施態様の具体的な実施を以下に提供するが、開示されるシステム及び/又は方法は、現在公知であろうと、又は既存のものであろうと、あらゆる方法を用いて実施することができると理解すべきである。本発明は、本明細書に説明され、記載される具体的な設計及び実施を含む、具体的な実施、図面、及び後述する方法に決して限定されるべきでなく、その同等物の全ての範囲と共に添付する請求項の範囲内で修飾し得る。
種々の遅延剤を含むアルミン酸カルシウムセメント組成物のゲル化時間を調べた。試料1〜9と呼ばれる、9種のセメントスラリーを、指定量のクラスFのフライアッシュ、SECAR 51、ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム(SHMP)、FE-2有機酸、塩化ナトリウム(NaCl)、リン酸ナトリウム一塩基性(NaH2PO4)、HR-5セメント遅延剤、SCR-100セメント遅延剤、HR-25セメント遅延剤、SCR-100、FE-2及びNaClの混合物、リン酸ナトリウム一塩基性及びNaClの混合物、並びに脱イオン(DI)水を用いて調製した。各スラリー中のこれらの成分の量を表2に示す。SECAR 51は、約58%のアルミナ含有量を有し、KERNEOS INC.から市販されているアルミン酸カルシウム水硬セメントである。FE-2は鉄イオン封鎖剤であり、HR-5は化学的に修飾されたリグノスルホン酸塩であり、SCR-100は非リグノスルホン酸塩セメント遅延剤であり、HR-25は高温遅延剤であり、それぞれは、Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.から市販されている。ゲル化時間は、試料1〜8について、試料を大気条件下に静止して配置することにより、試料9について、Halliburton Energy Services, Inc.から市販されている大気セメントコンシストメータ中で測定し、結果を表2に示す。
種々の温度における、アルミン酸カルシウムセメント組成物の増粘時間におけるSRAの量の影響を調べた。試料10〜26と呼ばれる、17種の試料を、表3に示す量の、クラスFのフライアッシュ、SECAR 51、SHMP、並びにNaCl:NaH2PO4を含むSRA、並びにDI水を用いて調製した。試料10〜26中のNaCl:NaH2PO4のSRA比は1:1であった。表3に示すように、試料を150°F(65.6°C)で42分間、200°F(93.3°C)で55分間、又は250°F(121.1°C)で76分間加熱し、圧力を6,900kPa(1000psi)から69,000kPa(10,000psi)に上昇させた。増粘時間を表3に示す。
アルミン酸カルシウムセメント組成物の増粘時間における、SRA中のNaCl及びNaH2PO4比の影響を調べた。試料27〜34と呼ばれる、8種の試料を、表4に示す量の、クラスFのフライアッシュ、SECAR 51、SHMP、NaCl、NaH2PO4の混合物を含むSRA、並びにDI水を用いて調製した。試料27〜30及び32〜34におけるNaCl:NaH2PO4の比は2:1であったが、試料31における比は1:2であった。表4に示すように、試料を、65.6°C(150°F)で42分間、93.3°C(200°F)で55分間、又は121°C(250°F)で76分間硬化させ、圧力を6,900kPa(1000psi)から69,000kPa(10,000psi)に上昇させた。増粘時間を表4に示す。
本明細書に開示されるタイプのSRAを欠如するアルミン酸カルシウムセメント組成物の増粘時間を調べるための比較例が示される。試料35〜39と呼ばれる、5種の試料を、表5に示す量の、クラスFのフライアッシュ、SECAR 51、SHMP、NaCl、NaH2PO4、及びDI水を用いて調製した。試料35〜37及び39はハロゲン化アルカリを含んでいたが、試料38は一塩基性アルカリ性リン酸塩を含んでいた。更に、試料37中のSHMPの量を40gから60gに増加させた。試料を、表5に示すように、93.3°C(200°F)で55分間加熱し、圧力を6,900kPa(1000psi)から69,000kPa(10,000psi)に上昇させた。実施例2からの試料18についてのデータも示す。増粘時間を表5に示す。
本明細書に開示されるタイプの、SRAを含む、アルミン酸カルシウムセメント組成物の増粘時間における分散剤の影響を調べた。試料40〜43と呼ばれる、4種の試料を、表6に示す量の、クラスFのフライアッシュ、SECAR 51、SHMP、NaCl、NaH2PO4、エチレンジアミンテトラ酢酸(EDTA)、クエン酸ナトリウム、及び脱イオン水を用いて調製した。試料を65.6°C(150°F)で42分間加熱し、圧力を6,900kPa(1000psi)から69,000kPa(10,000psi)に上昇させ、増粘時間を表6に示す。
SRAを含むアルミン酸カルシウムセメント組成物の圧縮強度を調べた。試料44〜48と呼ばれる、5種の試料を、表7に示す量の、クラスFのフライアッシュ、SECAR 51、SHMP、NaCl、NaH2PO4、EDTA、クエン酸ナトリウム、及び脱イオン水を用いて調製した。試料49は、従来の凝固遅延剤、クエン酸及び酒石酸を含む比較試料である。表7に示すように、試料を65.6°C(150°F)で42分間、93.3°C(200°F)で55分間、又は121°C(250°F)で76分間加熱した。24時間圧縮強度を、超音波セメントアナライザー(UCA)を用いて測定し、結果を表7に示す。
Claims (20)
- アルミン酸カルシウムセメント、水、重合リン酸塩、ポゾラン及び凝固遅延剤を含む組成物であって、前記凝固遅延剤がハロゲン化アルカリ及び塩基性リン酸塩を含む組成物。
- 前記凝固遅延剤が、3:1〜1:3のハロゲン化アルカリ:塩基性リン酸塩の比を有する、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記凝固遅延剤が、組成物の総重量を基準とし、0.1重量%〜15重量%の量で前記組成物中に存在する、請求項1又は2記載の組成物。
- 前記アルミン酸カルシウムセメントが、組成物の総重量を基準とし、30重量%〜60重量%の量で前記組成物中に存在する、請求項1、2又は3のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 組成物の総重量を基準とし、30重量%〜60重量%の量のアルミン酸カルシウムセメント、及び0.1重量%〜15重量%の量の凝固遅延剤を含み、前記凝固遅延剤が、ハロゲン化アルカリ及び塩基性リン酸塩を、3:1〜1:3の比で含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記ハロゲン化アルカリが、塩化ナトリウム、塩化カルシウム、塩化カリウム、又はそれらの組合せを含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記塩基性リン酸塩が、一塩基性リン酸塩、リン酸ナトリウム一塩基性、リン酸カルシウム一塩基性、リン酸カリウム一塩基性、二塩基性リン酸塩、リン酸ナトリウム二塩基性、リン酸カルシウム二塩基性、リン酸カリウム二塩基性、三塩基性リン酸塩、リン酸ナトリウム三塩基性、リン酸カルシウム三塩基性、リン酸カリウム三塩基性、又はそれらの組合せを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記凝固遅延剤が、3:1〜1:3の比で、塩化ナトリウム及びリン酸ナトリウム一塩基性を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記アルミン酸カルシウムセメントが、1:1〜4:1の酸化アルミニウム:酸化カルシウム比を有して、酸化アルミニウム及び酸化カルシウムを含む、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記酸化アルミニウムが、アルミン酸カルシウムセメントの総重量を基準とし、30重量%〜80重量%の量で、前記アルミン酸カルシウムセメント中に存在する、請求項9記載の組成物。
- 水が、前記セメントの総重量を基準とし、20重量%〜180重量%の量で、組成物中に存在する、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記重合リン酸塩が、アルカリ金属塩の重合塩、(ヘキサ)メタリン酸ナトリウム、トリポリリン酸ナトリウム、又はそれらの組合せを含む、請求項1記載の組成物。
- 前記重合リン酸塩が、組成物の総重量を基準とし、1重量%〜20重量%の量で、組成物中に存在する、請求項12記載の組成物。
- 前記ポゾランがクラスFのフライアッシュを含む、請求項1〜13のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記ポゾランが、組成物の総重量を基準とし、30重量%〜60重量%の量で、組成物中に存在する、請求項1〜14のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、従来の凝固遅延剤を更に含む、請求項1〜15のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記従来の凝固遅延剤が、有機酸、クエン酸、酒石酸、シュウ酸、グルコン酸、オレイン酸、リン酸、尿酸、エチレンジアミン四酢酸、有機酸のアルカリ金属塩、クエン酸ナトリウム、リグノスルホン酸塩遅延剤、非リグノスルホン酸塩遅延剤、又はそれらの組合せを含む、請求項16記載の組成物。
- 前記組成物が、1時間よりも長い増粘時間を有する、請求項1〜17のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 前記凝固セメントが、1,720kPa(250psi)〜138,000kPa(20,000psi)の圧縮強度を有する、請求項1〜18のいずれか1項記載の組成物。
- 請求項1〜19のいずれか1項記載の組成物を調製し;該組成物を坑井ボア中に配置し;前記組成物を凝固させることを含む、坑井ボアを保全する方法。
